I love this place. Stayed away for longer than I should have because it thought this was just another one of those«independent» ice cream shops that sold Hershey’s Ice Cream of which I am not a fan. This family owned shop makes their own ice cream and it’s fantastic. Standout in my opinion are the Banana, Cinnamon, and Mint Chocolate Chip. They also have some other more unusual flavored which I just have not had an opportunity to try as of yet. I make excuses to come back by though so should not be too long.

First time here. Had an assortment of flavors and it was excellent. The cookie overload was excellent and so was the cotton candy flavor!

My wife loves this place. But to me the just tasted watered down. Maybe it’s me. Because many people like this place. I prefer brusters or baskin Robbins which are close by.

I really liked Maggie Moo’s and was sad to see it was closing. However, I then found out that the same owners were re-opening the shop under their own name(Scoop n’ Swirl) and were just separating from the Maggie Moo’s franchise. I went for the first time since they changed over to an independent operation and the ice cream is still just as good. I was torn between the mint and coffee but coffee won out. It is very similar to Marble Slab Creamery or Cold Stone Creamery, where they put the ice cream on a cold slab and work in the mixings(sprinkles, chocolate chips, walnuts, etc.). Prices are pretty comparable to those places, as well. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Fort Mill or Tega Cay.
