It takes a lot for me to give a down right negative review for any place, especially a franchise. That being said, this review comes with quite a few considerations: Service, quality and consistency. The customer service at this location was poor, not just towards me, but towards others waiting ahead in line with me. The lack of management and customer service training is quite evident(especially for the South). The quality of food, was beyond disappointing. I have been eating DDs since I could remember. And of course, with taste and quality of product has changed over years with the developments and advancements in the food/culinary industry. But serving bagels and donuts that feel, taste and look old is just sad! I have followed many changes in the industry, to include DDs shift to focus themselves as a «Beverage company» over being known for their donuts or bagels. But come on people, if the stuff you serve at this location is what«America runs on», there is a serious need for the corporate franchise team to help this location out. Anyway, now on to their consistency — boy they got this one right. They are definitely consistent with their poor service, poor quality and poor management. It very easy to see that management and leadership are not trained well and that they are not engaged in quality assurance. I know it is easy for us to bash a business on how bad they are, however, this isn’t a sinkhole of a place either, the boss just needs to get off his chair, show up to work and make sure he drives his business the way he was trained to by the franchise team before he opened the doors. Just for the record, this review is for this DD specifically, I am still a loyal DD customer, just not at this location.

I know this is my first visit to this location but I was very unsatisfied with the service! I usual avoid DD in the mornings because my main priority is to make it to work on time. I decided that this morning would be different because it was national donut day. You get a free donut with every beverage purchase… you can’t beat that! It was pretty busy this morning, I’m guessing because of the promotion and just because it’s Friday… fine. While I was waiting on line to place my order, I noticed that the manager or one of the managers was addressing one of employees in a very rude way. I understand the store is busy but come on… that’s not the way to address someone especially in front of customers… that was strike one! I finally made it to the front of the line to place my order, nothing fancy just a large peach iced tea and a glaze donut(my donut was free). The girl behind the counter looked at me like she was confused… I think I speak pretty good English and yes I know I have a pretty«New York» accent but I’ve never had a problem with anyone not understanding me in the past so I didn’t understand what was the problem with girl behind the counter this morning! She walked and asked another employee whether or not they sold peach iced tea… you’ve got to be kidding me! The other employee told the girl who took my order that they did and she was nice to make my iced tea while the girl who was originally assisting me, completed my order… strike two! I watched the counter screen carefully as the girl entered my order into the register, why does a large peach iced tea cost $ 2.39 when it says it only costs $ 1.39 on the board/menu? I had to do a double take and that’s when I realized she entered my order wrong… she charged me for a hot tea when I ordered an iced tea… strike three! I kindly corrected her… she corrected my order and apologized for the mistake, I kindly smiled, paid for my order, grabbed my order and left the store. I shook my head and I walked to my car.

Such a poor example of what has made DD so successful, barely any toppings on the donuts, they don’t use cream in the coffee(milk only), I ordered a non toasted buttered bagel and it appeared the knife possible grazed one small portion of half of the bagel. Bottom line I will never darken the door of this place again, it’s a real shame the absentee owner and corporate don’t care about their brand.

Dunkin’ Donuts review ONLY: After 66 Check-Ins and probably 100 visits, I suppose it’s time to write a review. This DD has increased my rating over the past few years. It is far from a 5-star establishment, but I’m a fan because of its close proximity to my humble abode. In the past the management was tough to deal with, but I believe it has changed because I have noticed a difference. Most of the employees are friendly and know what they are doing. i had a few experiences where some employees struggle with simple tasks. «Listening is a skill.» Sometimes issues with the drive-thru speaker can make communicating an order frustrating — but, it’s a rare issue. They turn out some pretty good food. No real complaints in that department. The donuts are, for the most part, fresh and on point. Do yourself a favor and DDownloaDD the app! it makes paying a breeze and you’ll earn points which result in FREE beverages and special offers no one else has access to!

So disappointed by this place. I and 2 friends were out running this morning, and after 5 miles straight, we came in to use the restroom and get some water. None of us had cash on us, but who knew there were places that charge for water? I had planned to stop by here on the way home to get some breakfast, but after being denied a common courtesy of water, I will take my money to Starbucks or McDonald’s. We did get water before we started running again, from McDonald’s. So sad that you just lost 3 customers for life because of a cost of a small cup of water. Was it worth it?

Got the smallest birthday cake today. We ordered a 1⁄3 sheet cake to serve 6 – 8 and it looks like it feeds 4 at the most. Really disappointed and staff just argued with us.

Since Baskin Robbins mint chocolate chip ice cream is my wife’s favorite I have been to Baskin Robbins Dunkin Donuts all over the country. I have never been to Baskin Robbins with a better staff anywhere in the country. It doesn’t matter who has ever waited on me, they have always been outstanding. And the Shocker is they’re all fairly young but they are always respectful, courteous and they always go above and beyond to serve me and my family.

I’m usually craving some Fat Free Frozen Yogurt from Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts after I get off work at 11:00pm and was always sad that the BB in Tega Cay wasn’t open that late. The one time in the middle of the day that I was craving FFFY, I stopped by this location for the first time. There was a girl who was sweeping and when I walked in, she said that someone would be with me shortly. About 30 seconds later, another female employee walks through. She didn’t acknowledge me at all and definitely wasn’t taking my order. About a minute and half later –1st girl still sweeping, 2nd girl is nowhere to be seen. A male customer walks in(at least I thought he was a customer). 2nd girl comes from back and walks to register. I thought she was about to take my order but no — she does something on the screen and then walks out with the«male customer.» Still not acknowledging my presence. Another minute goes by and 1st girl stops sweeping. I thought she was at least gonna take my order or find someone who can. I was wrong again. She picks up a spray bottle and starts spraying the counters. Horrible service. This is the first impression you want to give new customers??? I’m not stopping by here ever again no matter how much I’m craving FFFY. I’ll drive the 10 minutes to the BB/DD in Rock Hill on Celanese anyday of the week. They actually want to make money by taking orders.

Man, was I happy when this place opened up less than 2 miles from my house growing up. Anyone who hasn’t skipped out on Starbucks for a morning coffee from DD needs to get on that immediately. Their house brew kicks that Pikes Place nonsense to the curb. And it’s cheaper. Win. I’ve never had a problem with this particular DD, other than the occasional line at the drive through. The service is always quick and friendly, which is all I really ask for. Whether it’s fall or winter and you’re getting a hot coffee or spring or summer and you’re getting one of those giant iced coffee crack treats, get on this train. Now. Go DD.
