Fantastic atmosphere, food, prices, and employees. Our favorite «go-to» spot for a full dinner or pizza or a sandwich. It’s all very good. You won’t be disappointed.

Very good food in this ‘local’ bar and grill. Crowded on a Sunday evening. But crowd thinned out at 7:30. I had beer battered fish and chips which was hot, fresh and tasty. My wife had blackened scallops with garlic sauce which she was very pleased with. Drinks were reasonable but I don’t like the plastic pint beer glasses (which aren’t pints) and the plastic stemware for wine.

Food was good, service good. Atmosphere, eh. Not the most beautiful presentation (actually far from it).
On the other hand, its casual/dive feel fits nicely with the in house made items on the menu. Its nice to see someone making unique dishes In-house. Oh and the wings are giant and the blue cheese homemade. We will be back to try the pizza (the table next to us ordered one and raved about it).

Really nice place and very good food. Karen, our waitress, made our dinner even better! Such a great personality and serviceminded person is hard to find.
I really recommend u to visit this restaurant. We ate two persons (2 dishes each), two beers and a drink for USD 50. CHEAP AND GOOD!

Bayside was recommended by a local and I’m glad we took his advice. Great fish and chips special on Friday night and Kerry was super friendly. If you want to get away from the tourist traps, check out this local spot.

My wife and friends went for prime rib dinner last night. Meat was DELICIOUS and enjoyed by all. We were under the impression it was ½ price as many restaurants advertise this time of year and didn’t check before ordering. The food was great but the price was for a «fine dining» restaurant with the same quality and service which this isn’t.

Awesome happy hour menu. Tuesdays are half priced burgers, best I’ve had in a LONG time. Casual atmosphere with wood booths and plenty of tvs to watch your sports

Chose to eat dinner here due to the other great Unilocal reviews. the food was excellent! Recommend the chicken Cordon blue balls, phenomenal! Also tried pepperoni roll, personal pizza, chick bacon ranch wrap and ‘Sammich’.all were excellent! Can’t go wrong with with anything! Also recommend the key lime daiquiri! It was great!

Tessa started off our moment here great from he start. She was friendly, attentive and fun.
Be sure you understand that the portions here are HUGE!!! We ordered a fish sandwich, grouper salad and a hamburger. All were tasty and well with the prices.

Well well well. Some things don’t change and I’m thankful for that. We ordered stone baked pep & saug & mushrooms pizza. Wow, was it good! Hard to find good pizza shops here in Florida but we found one with Bayside. If anyone is familiar with Tommy’s Pizza on Lane Avenue near the Shoe, that’s what this pizza tastes like. Good job Bayside Grill.
Ok!!! Band wagon again. Lots of folks have never ever truly been in a FIVE STAR RESTAURANT, and that’s obvious. I’m not trying to be a critic to the CRITICS, but I can’t even afford eating at FIVE STAR RESTAURANTS. Theirs only a handful nation wide and it comes with atmosphere, service, and of course renowned chef’s. Not to mention wine lists from here to the moon. I’m just saying to each his own but folks REALLY !!!

Great service and atmosphere. Portions are huge. We enjoyed a burger with homemade fries and wings. Sports TVs and classic rock playing. Family friendly. Also nice bar area. Has a family owned feel. Check out their daily specials and happy hour.

We stayed at the family owned hotel next door to the restaurant which was very clean and we’re going to go check out another place but noticed the bayside next door. Being in walking distance we decided on the Bayside and we we very glad we did. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible. We were so happy that we were able to support a locally owned business and enjoy the food and atmosphere. We will definitely go back again!

Our first visit. Place was hopping with lots of folks at long tables having a great time, especially during happy hour. Spouse had two mixed drinks that were so-so, which is why I a draft beer. Spouse had shrimp basket with fries and slaw. Shrimp were large, plentiful, and fried perfectly. The fries were good and the vinegar-based Cole slaw.
I had grilled grouper with tossed salad, baked sweet potato and green peas. The portions were huge! I came home with half the grouper and enough of the sweet potato, peas and Cole slaw. The only flaw was that my grouper was warm, while everything else was hot.
Server Jo was fine. We’ll return when we’re really hungry!
I wanted to give the experience 4.5*, but had to choose between 4 and 5.

As stated, doesn’t look like much from the outside. But that is misleading. Inside is clean and casual. Friendly wait staff and the food is great! Nice variety. The beer battered fish is really good! Pricing is not too bad. Everything from burgers to pizza. The fries are good too!

Updating this review to include the nightly specials: Such a Great deal! We went Tuesday night for burgers and had a ball sitting at the bar. Food was excellent and the onion rings were the best! Bartender was super fun and gave us great service, (Marni maybe?). Probably the best real handmade burger I have eaten in Ft. Myers. And if you want it rare, they listen!

5 Stars– That’s right! The main reason is because of our awesome server Kim! She was phenomenal!
My friend and I went to this restaurant for the sole fact that it is a Brown’s Backers Bar! We were able to get a table and met our awesome server Kim! She was on top of everything… when we were running low on beer she would notice from across the room and come over and ask if we wanted another. How many servers in your lifetime have you had that are super attentive?
The food was also good! We ordered the amazing soft pretzel sticks, jalapeño poppers and the sliders which I loved because they came with caramelized onions not raw onions.
The Brown’s fans in FL are just as awesome as the Brown’s fans in Cleveland. This is a great bar to watch the game at and a big THANK YOU to Kim who made our experience even better!
