Our whole group had a really good experience here — both food and service. I’m not sure it’s a solid 4 but I couldn’t give a 3.5. Nice location right by downtown Ft. Myers beach and along the harbor. Great place to sit outside if you like plenty going on. Our group ordered a variety of meals from Mahi Mahi tacos to fried fish(grouper)?to bronzed swordfish. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Their menu is huge which gave me some doubts that it could all be good. But no one in our 10 person party was upset.

Sad to say, but this restaurant has lost its way… It once was one of our favorite places to eat on Ft Myers Beach, but the flavorless dishes, unimaginative presentation and lower quality of food served has it dropping off our radar. Three times in a row, we experienced the lack of flavor, cold dishes and stale product. The baked fish was cold, tasteless and runny. I was served a hot dog ice cold on a stale bun,(I did not eat it and we did get a full refund). The Chicken alfredo was super salty and had zero flavor, avoid it. Hope they pull it together soon.

We have always loved this Restaraunt. We have been many times and with many different guests over the last 7 years. Their menu is huge, but somehow we have yet to be disappointed. There is something for everyone. Great view of the inlet and bridge. Prices are a little on the above average side, but not bad for the quality and quantity of food. Just some of the items we have tried: salmon, grouper, burgers, chicken fingers, boom boom chicken sandwich, oysters, gator bites, whiskey chicken sandwich, shrimp, and lobster. Great fries(wedges). I just wish they still had the duck quesadilla!

My wife and I make our annual Sabitical to Fort Myers Beach for Sun, Sand, Sea, live music and Great Food. Nervous Nellies is one of our must returns for Great Food and Atmosphere. When in Fort Myers, get yourself to Nervous Nellies!

We’re originally from FM, moved to Ga but we come down every Memorial day weekend and stay down at FMB. We’ve made it a tradition to eat at Nellies. Every time it seems to decline. This will be the last time my family will be eating at this restaurant. For 2 adults, 2 kids under 5 it was $ 91 without tip and no alcohol. I got the«seafood» quesadilla. I counted maybe a total for 2 ½ shrimps & nothing else, it was so soggy I had to eat it with a fork. No flavor or seafood. Basically tortilla and sauteed onions. Definitely not worth 15.99. My husband got the lobster roll that was just blah. Again no flavor. After we paid the bill I felt like I just got robbed. Needless to say we will be finding a new restaurant to make our family tradition spot. A complete disappointment.

Visiting from siesta key… And our waitress«Debbie» is not only frazzled but a bit rude… Waited about an hour just for appetizers… But also drinks ran warm waiting to place another order… The food better be awesome… Because the service sucks!!! Skip it…

I feel this place is your typical beach tourist trap. The location is great. Has a good size water front and a dock for boat parking. The building is ok and there is a lot of outside seating. The food is where the problem is in my opinion. It’s not fantastic but not great either. I would say it is middle of the road.

Well, since the owner started charging for parking as of last week, this won’t be a place we frequent.

My last trip to Nervous Nellie’s was my third in three years. The food has always been good, and the casual, festive atmosphere makes for a fun meal. The portions are huge, so you may want to consider splitting a meal if you do not have a large appetite(or don’t like leftovers). My only complaint on our last meal is that one of our family members was brought the wrong sandwich. The server did make good on that mistake by bringing the correct meal courtesy of the restaurant. It was impossible to eat at the time, but it made for more leftovers for a beach lunch the next day. I would return to the restaurant again, as this was the only mistake in three trips.

I hate to write a bad review but it’s deserved. Having been a server myself for many years I’m always sympathetic to a server when it’s busy. But it took 20 – 25 minutes after being seated to get our drinks and 35 minutes before we even got our food ordered. Having a 2 year old and taking 2 hours to have dinner did not go well. The food was mediocre at best and our order was screwed up. At least they did compensate with a discount on the bill. I would advise to skip this place.

I still love the patio and all the food choices here. It just isn’t top notch anymore. The hostess can be indifferent, the servers aren’t as attentive and often don’t return to ask if you want anything, another drink, dessert, coffee etc. fish tacos are good but not great anymore. The fish is still fresh but smaller portion, adequate. They’ve added oysters and they are really good. You get more if they are small. The Rockefeller is frozen spinach but really good The Rubens are still big and good. The scallop basket has been overdone lately. Often wrong sides. Willing to fix it but something isn’t like it used to be. Corn bread is still good but you might be charged depending on what you order. The music is back which is nice. Now at the pier end of the patio. I still love to go here for a patio sunset but I don’t rave about this place anymore

We thoroughly enjoyed Nervous Nellies. Brought our boat in, docked, great water-front seating in Fort Myers. Big menu, but good food and good service. Enjoyed a delicious and embarrassingly huge margarita! Loved our waitress from Maine!

Outstanding Food and Great Waitstaff Probably your best choice in Fort Myers Beach for a combination family friendly restaurant and live-music pub. Highly recommend: the coconut fried shrimp, blackened grouper, burgers and reubens. For dessert the key lime pie and the phenomenal bread pudding are serious hits! The waitstaff was probably the most pleasant that my wife and I met on our vacation.(Ask for Scott. He’s a really good guy and will guide you the right way through their extensive menu!)

Me and two of my friends went in tonight at 7:00 for dinner and finally got our meal at 9:30! The waitress tried to keep us happy while waiting but 2 hours waiting for our dinner is really unreasonable! The steaks were very good but we will not go back!

It’s good, it’s fresh and the wait staff knowledgeable and fun. Much better than the reviews it got. I’ll be back. Oh wait, I have been a few times since my check in.

We came here based on a recommendation of a Co-worker. We sat outside on the 2nd floor based on the ‘Happy Hour’. We ended up getting the Nervous Nellie drink based on Scottie’s recommendation… a huge drink — hope you’re thirsty. Scottie was an amazing waiter with equivalent amazing recommendations. We ended up ordering gator bites(omg, totally unbelievable), seafood chesedilla, and seafood pasta. .sharing all of it. The view is amazing — you will not regret dining at this establishment.

Super fantastic restaurant! The outside is colorfully decorated which gives it a really fun vibe. The inside is clean and gorgeously laid out, with big windows and a nice view of the docks. The staff is friendly(especially our waitress, I don’t remember her name but she was so wonderful, you could really tell she liked her job). The menu is large with plenty of options. I got their seafood pasta, which was pretty good. As was the fried green tomato appetizer. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food, and it all came out in a reasonable amount of time. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town!

An amazing view that you might be able to enjoy after eye-straining through one volume of a menu. Now, I appreciate options — I do! — but Nellie’s menu reads like something deemed too broad for The Cheesecake Factory. I’m not even going to begin listing the options available because it’s everything and anything you’d find on a seafood/steak/burger/sandwich/salad/pasta/Tex-Mex/dessert rundown. My bronzed Grouper Reuben is a bit overwrought and obliterated by slaw, with even more on the side. The fish is flaky and I like the addition of pineapple, y’know because. The toasted rye held up as long as it could — prior to mushification, the sando hit all the right notes albeit akin to playing a piano with a sledgehammer. Love the potato wedges! Not as crazy about the conch fritters, which while loaded with that gastropod are saturated with oil. The comically large 60oz cocktails are worth a few sober-for-now selfies, but even the $ 19 price tag can’t excuse the saccharine juices and alleged rum concoction’s end effect — cavities and a sugar rush with no real buzz. Service was a bit atrocious. Three plates were brought at once; the fourth, a solid ten minutes later with no explanation other than shrugged shoulders. Didn’t detract from the casual environment, but it was noticeable. Very Southwest Florida. Variety and views superplus, with opportunities to improve on execution and service.

Abends sollte man ohne Reservierung etwas Wartezeit einplanen.
