Tequila!!! Muy grande!!! Fountain drink… had to add a shot of Patron. Could’ve used two shots

Had dinner there a couple nights ago with the family — 8 of us. The waiter was attentive –never wondered where he went. The food was good, arrive timely and was hot. I ordered the chicken chimichangas, fried. They were very good. All in all everyone was satisfied with their order. The margarita was a little on the sweet side. No waiting we were seated right away. Prices — 180.00 for 8 people with tip. Not bad

Great location and beautiful carved chairs and table inside. On the outside patio there are tables overlooking the main road into Fort Myers Beach. That’s where we sat. It was a nice day.
Food was good and service just as good. We didn’t think anything was out of the ordinary spectacular or opposite. We enjoyed a nice lunch with quesadillas, nachos and enchiladas.
We would definitely stop again if in the area at lunch time.

Room wasn’t ready at the hotel. Mr. Tequila was a great place to hang out for lunch and a beer while my wife was a a meeting and I was waiting for the room.

Stopped in for a evening bite. Wings were excellent! Ordered Buffalo and Cajun. Both were perfectly spiced and sauced. Would definitely come back in to try their other entrees.

The service from waitstaff was really good. The food was average. Good selection on the menu. It wasn’t great but it was by no means bad. Very week margaritas– usually at Mexican restaurants you can count on a potent margarita. It’s across the street from the beach so not an ideal location for sunset dinners. Nice atmosphere if you sit inside, the booth under the patio are 2 person max maybe 2 adults and 2 children. Either way it’s a little cramped outside for four adults in the Florida heat and humidity. Also a little far on the south end of the strip depending on how much walking you maybwant to do to get to tine sqaure. I would eat here again once I’ve tryed everywhere on ft myers beach, sanibel, and Captiva. Regardless of my review give it a try if your in the mood for a good variety of Mexican style dinners. If not stick with yo taco if you want quick, simple, delicous mexican. By the way they are open until 3 am. (Yo taco) the latest on the island of fmb. Back to Michigan I go. Good food. Try the guacamolza appetizer. It’s fresh and wonderful. 99 cents for a draft beer on Mondays. Nice folks.

I struggle leaving a low star review when an establishment is new. However, we are in a tough market in a tourist town so there is little room for error. While the food was nice and speedy, the service was not. I hope that the kinks will get worked out because FMB is in need of a good Mexican joint. Mr. Tequila has all the makings of a potential hot spot the service just needs to meet the hype

Best chicken nachos and plenty of em. And they got wings, prices are also super reasonable for FMB. I’ll definitely be back to try something else. Don’t even waste your time at Hooters. This spots where its at. I’ve tried several places on the beach and this place did not disappoint.

I’m not one for long reviews or any at all but this place is worth the effort. We almost passed by because the parking lot was not busy on this Friday night but so many families on this island have kitchens and are leaving tomorrow. I’m surprised that I am writing because I think most Mexican restaurants are too much the same. This is like that but the kitchen staff is just more talented than most. Will return.

Service was excellent and food and drink was outstanding. Romero took excellent care of us.

Authentic Mexican food for a fair price. Tasty flavored frozen margaritas and many flavor choices. The never ending chips and salsa is a great treat. The décor had a true Mexican flair. Courteous staff, clean place.

Food was pretty good… pollo loco good flavor. BOGO margaritas for hapoy hour. We sat outside which was ok, would loved to have had more lively music so we could stay longer. Will definitely try again.

The atmosphere is fun! Very cool hand painted chairs. Nice large selection of a menu. We took our four kids and I was good for them, but easily would be good for just adults. Fish tacos were good. Fajitas were good. The kids food was good too… we would eat here again!

Your basic chain Mexican restaurant. Nothing exciting or authentic, really. Service average. They have good coupons in the local papers. I personally enjoy the smaller and more intimate Charros Brothers on the island of I’m looking for good Mexican food.

Gotta love the free chips and salsa… Although I can’t speak on food, my review is based off bar/​liquor experience souly.
First impression looked great, but margaritas were horrible and goodness, lord forbid you ask for a fresh margaritas verse their premade stuff smh… Totally not worth it… But whatever.

We were on vacation with a party of 4 we had a burrito and a chimichanga and my wife and I split fajitas for two the food was excellent the service was great and it was on Cinco DeMayo night which we expected to be very busy and unorganized and everything came off perfect we ordered the upscale Texas margarita picture and they make them well I would definitely recommend this restaurant
the bad reviews on this site are ridiculous.

TERRIBLE! No bartender in the filthy bar, it’s a waiter free for all. Look at all the employees faces, they hate their job, it’s clear. No smiles anywhere and barely comprehensible. Steak tough as nails, chewy. Service was NON-​EXISTENT.
Do not bother, you will waste your money. These reviews are BS, no love in this cafeteria. Filthy bathrooms. Waitstaff tossing beer caps on the floor– guess putting garbage in trash is too much effort. Big disappointment.

Good Mexican. Nothing fancy except the chairs and booths made of carved wood brightly painted scenes of Mexico.

Hard corn shell good filling of ground beef.
Cold corona with lime.
