One Flight Up

Spent 2 months here at Fort Myers Beach, living aboard our boat on a mooring ball in the harbor. I desperately needed my hair trimmed; no way was it going to last until I’m back home in Michigan around the first part of April. I’m fussy about my haircuts – want a good cut but it needs to be (very) low maintenance, require no products, and air or wind dry. I also don’t want to spend a lot of money (I’m a sailor, after all). Stopped by this shop to check it out just before they were closing on Saturday. I could see there were people inside, but doors were locked. Saw pamphlets detailing their services and prices available on the outside so I grabbed one and began walking away when one of the stylists from the shop ran out and insisted I come in to check them out. So friendly! I made an appointment for Monday and had my hair cut by Susie. Highly recommend her! She did just as I asked (low maintenance, air dries & looks great, no fuss) and price was as quoted: $ 25. This was a basic haircut, no blow dryer, no product. I can’t be a regular customer as I don’t live in the area, but I will definitely recommend this shop to my boating friends.

Michelle the nail tech stayed an extra half an hour so I could have my nails polished for New Years Eve. This was my first time since I live in Cincy. Will be back next year. This salon is the best! Clean, comfortable and the staff are so kind. I am a new resident on the beach, I needed a place close to get my haircut and my nails done. They do it all! The haircut was perfect, she did exactly what I wanted. I have very thick straight hair and wear it short, so I needed someone who could work with my style and not chop it too short. I love the result! I will be going back!
