I came here for a birthday party for a friend. She had over thirty people and only one server who was also helping other tables. Service was extremely slow, had to go to the bar to get first drink and paid 7.99 for a house margarita during HAPPYHOUR! After about 45 minutes finally had to request a menu to order. Ending up paying 10.90 for a HOUSE margarita plus 20% gratuity! $ 52 for one of the least expensive appetizers and two drinks. Thought maybe since this isn’t Disney World this included a souvenir glass– got stopped on the way out– server said I had to return the glass. Asked to speak to the manager, he offered me a free drink coupon then returned saying he was all out if gratuitous coupons. Definitely not the customer service I would expect from a supposed«Authentic Mexican Restaurant» that expects patrons to pay top dollar. I told him my girlfriend won’t be having her birthday party there next year! Two years in a row and I have felt like her large parties are more of a nuisance to them. I certainly won’t ever be returning POOR service all around!

Uuuuggggghhhh. We love this place and were happy to have a night out together but the service and food this time were terrible! Our food came out quickly but is was cold and bland. We never send things back but we had to. It came back warmed up from a heat lamp probably. Then asked for another drink only to be served the wrong one. The server was ok. The«manager» if I can say that, was awful and didn’t want to address any of the misgivings of the kitchen or front of house. Not going back again

Been using Unilocal for a long time, unfortunately my first review is going to be negative. Chips and salsa, good. Margherita was sweet and sour on the rocks, awful. My dinner entre was Relleno De Cameron’s. Literally A plate with over 2 cups of rice, one chile with some veggies and 2 small shrimps mixed together with some cream sauce and poured on top. it didn’t taste bad, a little bland, but a complete ripoff. One of the staff brought me some beans and veggies to try and salvage my experience there. She deserves 5 stars. This is not a $$ Mexican restaurant, not with $ 30 beef. Its a $$$ chain trying to maximize profits.

Great food and excellent service!!! The food is authentic, and the waiters and waitresses are very professional and fun. I highly recommend anyone to eat here who enjoys fresh, authentic Mexican food. Also, you must try the apple pie.

I went here with a few friends for drinks and desserts, and it was great! The drinks were pretty pricey, but they sure were strong and got the job done ;) so we got our money’s worth. Since we couldn’t decide on one single dessert,(because we were all women and we’re re always indecisive) we decided to get one of each! Which we all agreed was one of the best decisions of our lives, every dessert had just the right amount of sweetness and happiness. :) We will definitely be back… since we never tried the food!

Previous two 5 Stars… now 1 star… wish I could give ½ star What happened to this place?!? LONG wait to order and pay for lunch. Very RUDE and argumentative behavior by the Server and Supervisor on Duty Like other reviews, we experienced the Rude service and lukewarm food I agree with previous reviews that luke warm is very detrimental for Mexican Food Even the usual hot cheese sauces were room temp and had crust on top The only good thing was the Guacamole but the servers fingernails condition took away from the Table side experience which was also sloppy. Portion was smaller today as well since he only used 1 avocado. He did not squeeze lime into it either. The chips were room temp, not fresh and mostly broken beyond the top layer which makes me wonder if broken bottom chips are topped off with fresh chips to fill the basket The server said what we ordered came with sauce we wanted. It did not but they brought what we had asked for. They said it came with green sauce which was only under end of one enchilada. They charged us additional $ 4 for«chicken» on «Chicken» enchiladas They charged Dinner prices despite us arriving at 1:42 and ordering off the LUNCH Menu Neither were disclosed to us We had to wait LONG time to get server to come take our order. Is that intentional when the place only has a few customers? I asked to speak to the Manager who wanted to argue and falsely accuse us of waiting to order! Yes, everyone loves to sit long time without food when they go out to eat(eye roll) I have text times when we arrived at door at 1:33 and 1:42 3 people took way too long to redo the bill I had asked that it be voided and redone The Manager refused and said he would do something else It took even longer and we were not given Credit slips We were given new tickets with different amounts that were still NOT correct He still charged too much for the Entrees We paid and left I have NEVER had a server argue and try to cover their mistakes I have NEVER had a Manager use that tone and not apologize for mistakes and delayS The attitude was very rude and unappreciative We were falsely accused of waiting a long time to order Lunch Save your time and money Taco Bell and many others will appreciate your Business and save you time and money We left a lot of food on the plates Server reached over several times without asking He did that for menus and touched my water and straw Rude and not properly trained to ask and not reach over or touch food and items people eat or drink with What happened to this place?!? I usually tip 20−40% I tipped ZERO for 2nd time in My life. I felt very ripped off We did not complain until bill was wrong Then we got attitude and insult to injury of poor service Another Guy came over to give another basket of chips and salsa while we waited for correct bill We declined as we had lost appetites and had ruined experience which is why we did not eat what was on our plates

Upscale and comfortable Mexican, very very popular. We have visited here many times and never had a bad experience. A wonderful place for special occasions, can get crowded and long wait times.

We stopped in here for a late night to go meal. The bartender was very helpful when we were unsure what to order. We had enchiladas, and tacos. They’d came with rice, beans, salsa and chips. Almost too much food for two people. They were delicious and fresh. We had a margarita while we was tasty but pricey and too much ice. Ask for no ice.

Sat at the bar and waited for either bartender to bus from the last patrons After 10 minutes he started but got distracted putting glasses away Never acknowledged us so we left and we are at senior tequilas and before we finished sitting down at the bar chips and salsa was given to us with the proper acknowledgement 38 years in food service, cantina Laredo ranks up there for terrible service

I’ve never really had a good meal here and I’ve tried many things. Last time I had the enchiladas and the chicken was just horrible, as was the rest of the dish. This time I got the fajitas for lunch and they were just so terrible. I’m pretty sure fajitas include more than onions but that’s all I got. The chicken is something you would find in a lunchable — questionable at best. Overall, I never come here unless I’m dragged and this only cemented my decision to stay away. Shudder.

We were greeted promptly & the hostess said it was happy hour. Drinks & appetizer half price. Four of us ordered different drinks & appetizers. Ordered dinner, which was warm not hot. When the bill came we were charged full price for the drinks & appetizers. Waiter said what we ordered was not included in the specials. The menu did state ½ price drinks & appetizers. I think it was the waiter’s error and he didn’t want to take the time to correct. Hard to believe 4 drinks &4 appetizers and not one included on special. In hind sight we should have asked to see a manager. We won’t be back.

Would have given 5 stars but the scrambled eggs were a bit dry otherwise everything were perfect. Hector was our server, he was friendly and fast. Complimentary chips were amazing not too thick/thin, hot salsa was a bit bitter due to pepper used the other salsa was fresh. Next time would def try table side fresh guacamole. Had brunch, it came with a mimosa or bloody mary. It was 9nly $ 11ish plus tips very affordable.

OK, I am not going to nitpick but just comment on the food. I ordered the Cantina Laredo Platter; it came out lukewarm which is detrimental in Mexican food. Fat jelled and aroma deceives. Mass amount of food but it all blended into a single flavor. The plate came as advertised but it’s a mess, cantina serving. Some other thoughts, salsa was great and the guacamole was delicious. Wait staffs were attentive. Margaritas were too expensive; averaging $ 10 per drink. Since it’s a franchise, maybe they need to do more soul searching; though they are all into mass and into snowbird territory.

Love this restaurant and all of their dishes! My advice — try the guacamole! It’s very fresh and made right at your table!

The service was very good! The waitress got everything we asked for very quick, the bathrooms were very clean and the food was amazing. The side table guacamole and side table apple pie was so good my family was more than pleased with everything and will come back again. Made reservations for 7:30pm but then changed it for 6 and they were still able to seat us right away and this was on a Saturday and it was all very authentic!

Took a couple of people here for a work dinner treat. The place was a lot of fun. Really good experience Soon as we sat down, I already knew I wanted the guacamole! The guac is made right in front of your table with fresh ingredients. The chips and salsa were fresh and a good starter. We went on a Thursday night which was apparently ladies night. Margaritas and wine were all half off for the ladies. Of course we ordered margaritas! From there we also ordered fajitas, tacos and ceviche. All the food was delicious! Favorite thing on the menu so far: ceviche! Will definitely be back.

I had heard great things about Cantina Laredo so I knew I had to give it a try. I went in for lunch and the place was pretty slow. Leaving the avocado on the table is a great push for their table side guacamole. I was totally a sucker and went for it, while it was delicious, it was wayyy to big for one person. I wish they let you order a half order or a lunch portion. I ordered the lunch enchilada and it was good, had a bit more of a kick to it then I am use to. I will say service was great in the beginning but tapered off towards the end of my meal. Like I mentioned it was really slow in there and my server was nowhere to be found for quite a chunk of time to fill my water or bring the check. I would definitely go back and give the dinner menu a try.

I have yet to be disappointed with the level of service or quality of food at Cantina Laredo in Fort Myers. This is my favorite place to go for margaritas and enchiladas with tomatillo sauce. When you arrive at your table they’re always quick to serve you your chips and salsa. There are two types of salsa that are extremely tasty; a roasted tomatillo(mild) and a hot bean(hot) salsa. I typically order either a margarita or a mojito to drink, both of which are refreshing. A warning to those who are faint of heart, their drinks are strong! And I mean this in a good way. They don’t use a lot of mixers and make their drinks with top shelf liquor; so no need to drown the bottom shelf tequila in that nasty green margarita mix! I’ve eaten here more than a handful of times and my favorite dish as of yet is the Enchiladas Veracruz; enchiladas with a spicy, green tomatillo sauce. Fajitas are always well-seasoned and a group favorite to share. If you ever save room for dessert, get the brownie! They bring it out in a hot skillet so the brownie is hot and the ice cream melts pretty fast.

Love this place! My favorite place for chips, guacamole and salsa!!! I went here for dinner one night and then drinks and apps mother time. Both great experiences with friendly attentive staff! The tacos are yummy and very filling. But the guacamole is AMAZING. It is made tables side so super fresh and enough for 3 – 4 ppl to enjoy. They also have thin crispy chips and two salsas– one hot and one mild. It is in a convenient central location. Right at the Bell Tower Shopping center. Plenty of parking me the inside of the hotel is beautiful! Great place for a date, group outing or a family meal. Give it a try!
