Not sure if I was at the same restaurant those giving negative reviews but thought it was delicious! Everything from the free chips and salsa(spicy salsa and pico de gallo) to the margaritas(make sure to get the gold tequila) to the fajitas and avocado tostada — so yummy! Went with my in-laws and teen aged kids. Definitely worth checking out.

Food was just okay. A bit bland for my taste. The chips and salsa were good. House margaritas are a rip off. They don’t even make them fresh. It is poured out of a bottle of premixed Jose Cuervo margarita crap with the alcohol already in it.

I am a huge fan of authentic Mexican food. My girlfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant for dinner. The first thing we see when we walk in was their special for the day… A rack of ribs. We are seated and two things we both noticed immediately. 1. Was the price. 16.99 for 1 taco 1 Enchilada and rice and beans. Which is more expensive then all of our favorite Mexican restaurants. If the food is worth 16.99 then it’s alright. The second thing that stuck out was the lack of authentic Mexican food. It was a very Americanized menu. Not even tacos with cilantro and onion on the menu! The food came out and it was not worth $ 16.99! My girlfriend barely touched her food and I would have rather had Taco Bell… And I don’t even like Taco Bell. Service wasn’t the greatest either. When we asked for a refill of salsa, it didn’t come out until we were finished eating. I would recommend avoiding this place.

Mediocre Mexican food nothing special Overpriced for the portions. u get for 16.99 1 small taco and a little Anchilada with beans & rice, please it’s Mexican food not a steak house. They even have the nerve to charge you $ 6 Dollars for a side of guacamole, come on. I’ve been to other Mexican restaurants that serve Better fare and for a lot less as well. This is just not worth it. I really hope for their sake they last here because other restaurants came and went at this particular location.

This was a great new find for us. We had a terrific meal and the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The restaurant is very pretty inside. We will definitely be returning!

Listen, I try to be understanding– but I am done with this place. Worst service I’ve ever freaking experienced. The food was good, it was fine. But not worth the price. The first time we came, we asked if they could accommodate our three kids. We have twins who need high chairs. The mngr came and said it would be fine, but then told us he would squeeze them on the end of a booth. No options. After waiting about 20 minutes and still no table– we left. It was a Tuesday and not that busy. Today we went and got seated right away at a regular table. But the service was very slow and the food was overpriced. The straw for me is that we ordered apple juice, which is listed on the kids menu at $ 1.45 and when the check came, they charged us $ 3.50! EACH. I asked them to fix it, and instead of apologizing or anything, they agreed to lower the price at my insistence. When they brought back the ticket it said $ 1.80 each. I know we’re not talking about much, but it really makes me mad. How difficult would it have been?! We spent $ 70 on dinner, cleaned up after ourselves, and I didn’t even have the heart to lower the tip — because I blame the manager at the end of the day. Moral of the story: not worth the time/money/hassle for not-stellar Mexican and ok chips and salsa.

I’ve been disappointed by every Mexican restaurant I’ve tried so far in Ft. Myers so far. I was hesitant to try this one, but I was presently surprised with the food and the service. Chips and salsa were great, my husband and I had the fajitas and they were amazing. Our server Caesar was great. Very personable and attentive. I will be back for sure. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have had fresh Guacamole prepared at the table. Nothing beats fresh Guac and chips.

Food was good service was atrocious. Upon arrival we had to ask for chips they didn’t come out automatically. 10 or 15 minutes later we finally received the chips. We barely ever saw our waitress and it took a very long time to get any refills. When the food came out I asked for more chips and we never received them. Ten mins after we sat there with empty plates I finally had to get up and flag someone down just so I could get my tab so we could leave. Food was good however experience was terrible.

Came here while I was on vacation in Florida. The waitress seemed to be new/confused while taking our order. I loved the fresh tortilla chips and spicy salsa served on the table. We ordered taquitos for an appetizer and it comes with six pieces which is a good size and we enjoyed them. I ordered the steak burrito smothered in cheese and it was very tasty, I just wasn’t crazy about the rice it came with. My margarita also barely had tequila in it, too much sour mix for sure. It’s hard for me to find restaurants I really enjoy while in Fort Myers, but this one was pretty decent.

Thank you, Thank you Señor Tequila whomever you are. I grew up in Southern California where mexican food is on every corner and my Husband and I moved here from from Denver where more Southwestern mexican is a staple. We have been in Ft. Myers for 2 yrs and have hoped and prayed for a good authentic mexican restaurant only to find just ok non authentic mexican. Green Chile pork Beans, Mexican rice and good chips(always can tell a good place by their chips) going in with high hopes and expectations, You surpassed them all. Monday and Tuesday Mariachi music transported us back to our honeymoon in Mexico. Now I wouldn’t say it’s the best Margarita but who cares it washed down deliciousness. We will definitely be back and will gladly bring friends and family.

We were going to go to Moes but changed our minds. Boy were we glad we did! Finally a Mexican restaurant that serves Horchata! The atmosphere is Mexican and the waiters and waitresses are in authentic attire. The food was fresh and fantastic. I would eat there again.

I wanted to like it, but I could not. We tried it the other night and it started out ok. The salsa and chips were fine but no guacamole on the menu. We had to ask for it, which was a shame because it was the best thing we ate. We had the mole and it was nothing special. It was not bad, just average. I thought the food was overpriced for what you get. $ 18 for some rice beans, a chicken thigh and two chicken legs seems like quite the mark up. I think what annoyed me the most was the presentation. The chicken with mole was served hot and steaming(which is good) however it was on the bone. I was not about to gnaw on a hot chicken leg dripping with sauce. I tried cutting it off the bone or using a fork but was not successful at getting it off. I had to use my hands. So I paid $ 18 to sit in a restaurant and burn my hands on hot temperature sauce and hot chicken in order to pull it all off the bone to use in the tortillas. I have picked many a chickens before… In my house, but not at a restaurant. My husband and I both said we doubt we would come back. I gave them two stars because I liked our waitress.

reminds me of nursing home«ethnic» food. No garlic, no cilantro, no flavor. very greasy chile rellenos. no pico de gallo, no salsa cruda, no salsa. beer was not nearly cold enough to gag this down. since I was alone for lunch, I sat at the bar. The bartender really was more concerned with the lighting on the beer promotional signs than helping me. I have spoken with two others who have braved this place and their opinions match mine. For what I paid for this sad little lunch, I could have had a fine one at Cantina Laredo with great service, awesome salsas and excellent chile rellenos.

We both had the taco special for lunch.(7.99 for two tacos and rice and beans) Mr. had the ground beef and I had the shredded beef. It was the best taco I had ever had. The beef was exceptionally tasty. The draft Modelo was 4.50. The décor and ambience is charming faux Mexican. The service(Marlin) was good. We will be back.

My friends and I decided to have gathering for a few birthdays. Due to lack of communication nobody made reservations. When we got there they were very accommodating. We waited a few minutes and had a table. There ended up being more people than expected. They just kept on adding tables together and went with the flow. Omar is the manager and was very accommodating ! Would go back there again!!!

This place just opened two weeks ago and wow I don’t know how they are gonna stay in business. The quality of the food was awful — literally looked liked a kid’s school lunch. This wouldn’t have been so bad, but the prices were exorbitant. I paid almost $ 18 for something that looked like any person anywhere could whip up in a kitchen in 5 minutes. I had the pollo enceballo and while it didn’t taste terrible, I expected way more for the price I was paying and also just because it’s a restaurant and ‘good’ is great, but guess what also tastes good? Chic fil a. Which is where I wish I had gone, because I would have saved money and enjoyed my meal more. Also, the hostess wear these overdone ‘Hispanic’ costumes that are, frankly, a little embarrassing just to look at. And their chips are overly fried. I could taste oil oozing out of the chip every time I bit into one. Would not recommend.
