If this is your first visit to this place, you might have missed the entrance easily. It is located several stores next to the Planet Fitness on McGregor Blvd and Gladiolus Dr. This place does not have a liquor license, if you want a beer or drink you have to go next door to buy your own. We got in around 5:30PM but only outside tables are available. The place became crowded rather quickly. There are more seniors but very few younger clients. My friends recommended we try the Portuguese mussels and Ipswich Steamers. We have a different plan tonight. To start, I have a cup of New England clam chowder with a raspberry iced tea. It was fantastic. Next came with the classic or traditional lobster roll. Lot of lobster meat on a toasted bun with a little lemon juice, herbs and a touch of mayo. Wife ordered fried shrimps with hand cut fries. Needless to say, we both have our Cole slaw. We have a very good dinner but pass the Love boat ice cream dessert. Fantastic dinner! However, I still prefer to inside table! The service is friendly and served us quickly!

Ok, I am a Mainer in Ft Myers and I may be biased, but I give this place a straight up 5 stars, because the are what they are. Nothing fancy, very casual, great New England fair. Got there on the early side and got seating right away, but got busy quick with a ling wait. It is byo, we went next door to the Italian place who helped us out with some wine and beer. We had steamers, excellent, clam cakes, clam chowder and lobster roll, what a treat down here!

Excellent Sitting outside at sunset is a bonus, although you have to look past the parking lot to the western sky. Lobstah tacos were delicious and filling. Cole slaw tasted homemade. Our server was charming, attentive and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Hidden gem in Ft. Myers. Great place to go for seafood. Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Offer carry out which several people came in to pick up while I was there! Lobster & Corn chowder is a MUST — so flavorful! Traditional«Lobstah» roll, Cod Tacos & Fisherman’s platter were all great! Fresh hand cut fries, which is always a plus! Portion size is just the right amount and fried items aren’t overly greasy. Kind of odd location, but don’t pass by! Definitely will be back next time I’m coming through Ft. Myers!

I’ve been here a handful of times over the last year but this afternoon I got a surprise. At some point they’ve started seating diners and bringing menus to your table to order. A server takes your order and brings it out to you(along with an empty cup). You still get up and get your own beverage. I think they’ve taken a step in the right direction but if they want their servers to get the best tips, they’ll make another change and start bringing at least initial beverages to the table. FYI: they still have the«Order Here» and«Pick Up Here» signs hung above the counters. I’m told they’re using those for take-out orders but may eventually take them down. This little place has more outdoor seating than inside seating, so consider eating al fresco on a pleasant day. Inside the tables are spaced close enough that you have to be careful of other diners when you’re making that trip across the room for your drink. My favorite order is the classic lobstah roll. For $ 18 it comes with one side. I got the fries and while I don’t eat fries often, they do them nicely here. The roll for the sandwich was toasted and buttered but just slightly short. If it were a bit longer, it would have given me the opportunity to have some roll with the lobster meat more often. That’s a minor detail. This is a tasty meal. My check was brought and after paying I had another dilemma. The dining room is still set up like a fast food venue where you would bus your own table. I’m not sure what they have in mind but since I wasn’t sure I took the plastic basket to the trash can and dumped the paper liners and my napkins. I placed the basket on top with another. There didn’t seem to be a bin for my beverage glass so I(awkwardly) left it on my table. Final Assessment: My meal with beverage was $ 21.47 and then I added a tip for the(partial) service. This makes eating in this very casual venue a bit of a splurge. I’ll come back when the idea of eating the lobstah roll takes priority over the price.

We ordered the Portuguese Mussels(delicious!) and Fried Calamari for appetizer, then we ordered the Fried Shrimp Platter, Fish & Chips, Scallops Roll, Portuguese Cod Fish Stew(amazing), and the Connecticut Lobster Roll!!! I only give this place a 4 star because I had better Connecticut lobster roll… the shrimp, scallops, and fish & chips were good but not great… they also ran/sold out of steamer clams(main reason we came), the ice tea dispenser was empty and the Coke tasted very watery! We would visit again during lunch time and not when they are closing within an hour and half.

We moved here last Spring and this has become one of our favorite lunch spots. The classic lobster rolls with the hand cut fries are delicious. This is a place we take all out of town guests who like lobster.

We are visiting family down in Fort Myers and our aunt and uncle told us about Cape Cod Fish company, they had been there before and they really liked the fish and chips. The thing that caught my attention was the Lobster Roll signs and also the reviews about this place on Unilocal. After seeing Lobster rolls on the tv show DDD, I definitely would be all over a Lobster roll. Today we finally got to try it. I ordered the Lobster roll and our aunt and uncle ordered the fish and chips. When I eat Lobster I love the flavor of it and I don’t like anything else to take the flavor away from it. To be honest the roll(bun) had a bit too much butter on it for me, it’s not that I don’t like bread but when the butter on the roll takes away the flavor from my lobster I a draw a line. I decided to eat the lobster without the roll(bun) first to be able to enjoy the flavor of my lobster and at the end I ate the roll(bun). I definitely will go back again and order the Lobster roll, their food is good.

Yuck! everything fried isn’t good! Nothing but grease! Flavorless grease. The cod was more like sashimi RAW more opaque not white. The fries were a soggy mess! I swear I’ve never and I never will again! There’s no more to say we won’t even talk about the appearance of the place! All kinds of food code violations going on!

We ate at Cape Cod twice during our 3-day vacation to Fort Myers. The only reason we didn’t eat there on the third day is because they are closed on Mondays! I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos with coleslaw both times, and my fiancé ordered the grilled salmon tacos both times. The shrimp tacos are by far the best I’ve ever had. From the tortilla, to the sauce, to the seasoning on the shrimp, it was superb. I also highly recommend the coleslaw! And that’s coming from someone who is not a coleslaw lover. We are returning to Fort Myers next week for our wedding, and will be sure to stop in at Cape Cod(hopefully more than once)!!

We visit Ft Myers Beach frequently and usually try to avoid the tourist spots. Not only is the quality usually inferior but the prices are inflated. Actually, aside from the occasional breakfast/lunch, we rarely eat on island. We don’t mind driving a few extra miles for some great food. And that is exactly what we got here! I went in specifically for Cod Fish & Chips. I like cod, haddock or wahoo for my fried fish. Unfortunately, most places in South Florida only offer Mahi or tilapia. My fish was flaky and delicious. Nicely breaded and not greasy. The fries were really good as well. My husband ordered the fried shrimp and received a basket of truly jumbo sized shrimp. He also enjoyed a cup of clam chowder. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! I find the prices to be reasonable based on quality, taste and portion size. The staff, including the owner, are friendly and welcoming. Cape Cod Fish Co is now a must go when we’re in the area. Until next time!

I’ll keep it short and sweet… this place is effin fantastic. Their classic lobster roll was one of the 2 or 3 best I have ever had. I order the lobster roll almost everywhere that offers it, so that is high praise from me. Their Connecticut roll is equally good. Buttery with old bay seasoning. Damn near perfect. My wife had their pimento and crab grilled cheese and it was also incredibly delicious. The service is fast and friendly. Owner came out and chatted. Waitress didn’t bat an eye as my 2 year old poured soda everywhere. Is it pricey? Have you ever been to a seafood/lobster roll spot that isn’t? I haven’t. Big thumbs up!

Excellent Lobster Rolls! Everything you read in the previous reviews is true. We stopped in for lunch and while the entire lunch menu looked great, we went with the recommendation — the lobster roll. The lunch portion was just right. Plenty of lobster, and very light on the mayo — just enough to hold it together a bit. You could barely taste the mayo. Wonderful, fresh lobster on a buttered and grilled slice of toast. Oh, and we got the hand-cut fries. Why does anyone serve frozen? These are the best! The service was very friendly and they served us quickly. It was a little pricey for lunch, but well worth it!

This place is soooo good! Small little shop off of Ft Myer’s beach. It has a large menu for your choosing of all kinds of seafood. For appetizer we ordered fried calamari. I would say it is one of the top calamari I’ve had. They had a mixture of small octopus with the legs(my fave) and non legs ones. The calamari was fried nicely and what made it so good was the sauce. It had a mayo chili aoli with a sweet soy glaze on top and it compliented the calamari soooooo well. Had a great balance of sweet and savory. I got the Conneticut Style Lobster roll. Which is sauteed lobster in butter with old bay seasoning. And the amount of lobster was worth $ 18. The seasoning was not over powering and the butter did not kill the lobster taste. It was fresh and light. It also come with a side of fries too so it is a great lunch option. Le beau got the lobster grilled cheese which was good too but the cheese over powered the lobster. Le beau’s brother got the traditional lobster roll which is good as well but the Conneticut still wins. The food came out pretty quickly as well. To go I ordered fried whole belly clams and new england clam chowder because my sister wanted them. The fried clams were very large and were pretty good but very plain and basic. The clam chower was good too but it wasn’t as creamy as I like it. It was pretty liquity soup.

Amazing, small casual restaraunt with big time taste! Get the Calamari appetizer you won’t be disappointed! I had the Fishermans Combo which is fish, clams, shrimp and scallops — $ 24.99 def worth the price! The owner was very nice he came out and listened to my sons fishing stories from the afternoon. Wife and sons cod fish and chips were awesome — and for picky fish eaters — that’s a good thing! looks like they have Lobster Mac and Cheese on Wednesdays! Next trip I know where I’ll be on Wednesday! The level of service and quality of the food has earned this establishment a 5 star in my book! A hidden gem if you will, we will def be back.

Authentic New England seafood served with a smile. They have lobster, lobster and more lobster! Served either classic style on a bun, with or without mayo and Connecticut style warm in butter. I opted for the classic style and no regrets! You will think you’ve been transported up north. They have lots of daily specials and menu offerings. They also had lobster cakes on special, two small cakes of deliciousness that I shared as a starter. Small yet clean, located in a strip mall in Fort Myers, this is the place that will become my new go to for seafood while in the area. Reminds me of the seafood shacks that dot the eastern long island towns that I always compare good seafood to. Menu is extensive and can’t wait to try more! FYI, they don’t have a liquor license as of yet but allow you to byob! NICE!

I’m a sucker for a good Lobster Roll, and this place does it right. The lobster was overflowing, the bun was buttered and crispy, the flavors were popping. And the fries! The fries were great and I loved the entire meal. If your looking for an amazing sandwich/fries combo, don’t hesitate.
