So delicious! I love when you pull up to a restaurant in a plain strip mall and then it’s the most amazing surprise when you love it. There were so many options it was hard to choose. The caprese salad was perfect and the pulled pork ravioli so so good.

Went with a party of 4 and everybody’s dish was delicious. The shrimp and scallops with risotto is probably one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

Did not have reservations, but I recommend you do… We got in by luck as they had 2 tables available. The service was excellent… The wine recommendation was excellent for my food choice… I had the pork loin special with grilled Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Excellently prepared and seasoned!

We celebrated our anniversary at CIBO last evening. It was our first visit after hearing several good reviews of the restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. We enjoyed cocktails(great drink service by Pepe) at the bar and then a delicious dinner in the dining room. The gnocchi appetizer was outstanding and the veal marsala was delicious. The Tiramasu dessert was wonderful, too. James was our waiter and he was professional, friendly and fun, which added to the enjoyment of our special evening. The owner even stopped by to introduce himself. A lovely atmosphere, too. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly, local and delicious!

It’s a decent place for ft Myers the décor needs an update but the food is ok. I think they need a little more guidance with communication. I ate there 3 times for business. Each time different and ok but not exceptional.

Heard great things about this restaurant, had to wait three days to get a 7PM reservation. That was the most positive thing I can say about this restaurant. We were seated promptly, our server seemed very pleasant. My wife and I ordered Carpaccio as an appetizer, it was excellent. For the main course we ordered Chicken Marsala and the Veal Carbonara. The appetizer came promptly but the main course took another 50 minutes to arrive. Our Server was pleasant enough but never apologized for the delay or provided a reason. The main course was average at best, nothing to write home about. The pricing was reasonable if you were paying by the hour. Given all the positive reviews I’m chocking this up to a one time bad experience If interested in this restaurant you should definitely make reservations 2 — 3 days in advance.

Upscale Italian food. Excellent service and chef prepared food. Not a big menu but something for everyone lots of staff so you never feel forgotten Not stuffy nice place for a date or guests. Local favorite Be sure to make reservations The wine list isn’t long but some nice selections. No beer on tap. Full bar with happy hour. But only in the bar The veal piccata is one of the best I’ve ever had. perfectly cooked and came with fresh sautéed spinach Excellent lasagna and a big portion rich and well seasoned Pasta with vodka sauce was huge and tasty Chicken parm is juicy and too big to eat at one sitting. I love the bread with three choices of topping; butter, tapenade or oil and balsamic Deserts are great My favorite place to eat in fort Myers

I love this place! My brothers girlfriend took me here for some small plates & wine, and I must say, I was very impressed. Absolutely delicious. One thing that is very hard to find, made properly, is Gnocchi. The Gnocchi here was some of the best I’ve tasted in a very long time. Melt in your mouth :-) We sat at the bar, a very lively place(wow) filled with locals all night long, and drank wine after wine talking with everyone around us. We had a great time! :-D The service at the bar was impeccable. I never had to ask for anything. When the glasses got low, we were immediately filled. The Plates were brought out perfectly. The owner even came around and introduced himself, very friendly man. Peter S is lucky I don’t live in the area or else we would be battling for the crown ! Hi Peter!

Loved the atmosphere! People extremely friendly! Made some new friends and can’t wait to come back for the food. They were extremely accomodating to me — all I wanted to do was sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine after an extremely trying day and finding out a dear friend was in hospice care. There was no room at the bar but they found a way to get me in. Sat outside for a while then the manager came to get me. Everyone from Patti the hostess to Pepe the Bartender, and even the patrons — made me feel extremely WELCOME. Think I found my new place in Florida. Thanks for all that you do.

We are glad to have discovered this restaurant. Four of us initially just stopped for drinks but ended up ordering the fried mozzarella, which led to full on dinner. Entire party enjoyed their food. While their we took note of the employees being very friendly with a couple of young kids out dining with mom and dad, which does not happen real often in a nice place and we thought that was cool. Important note: The kids were behaving! Can not way to return.

I had heard wonderful things, so I already had high expectations — and up front let me just say that they were all met. They took our reservation and were completely ready for us upon arrival. The waiter was very friendly, had wonderful customer service, even taking all of our names, asking our reason for getting together for dinner that evening, etc… We started with the calamari, which was very good. But my dinner was absolutely incredible — I had the Braciola di Maiale — which was a pork loin, wrapped in prosciutto with provolone, spinach, and roasted red pepper with mashed potatoes. Every bite was incredible! To finish, I had the crème brule, which was also fantastic. It was definitely on the more expensive end of dinner — to be considered fine dining — but very worth it for a nice night out. They definitely lived up to their reputation!

Easily one of the best restaurants in Lee county. Daily fish and pasta specials compliment the already exceptional menu. I suggest the scallop risotto to start, then the roasted lamb loin, tiramisu and a nice espresso to finish. Staff is knowledgeable and excellent.

This was only my second time at Cibo’s, and I already feel comfortable updating my previous review from a 4, and giving them an easy 5 stars. There was the same nice upscale atmosphere and friendly, attentive, and personal service on account of our favorite server, Wally. This time we got the clams and calamari appetizers. My only complaint was that there wasn’t more for me to stuff into my face. I also ordered the shrimp scampi special they had for the day and really enjoyed it. The angel hair pasta was great with the lemon ginger sauce and jumbo shrimp. Overall a great dish. Their cappuccino for dessert is amazing and I highly recommend it. The reason Cibo’s gets a step up from their previous 4 star review is because of the consistency and quality of food. Both times I’ve eaten there I was impressed and have yet to find anything negative to comment on. While I am no regular patron, every meal has distinguished Cibo’s apart from any other Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. The level of service and satisfaction brought in every dish I’ve had exemplifies what I am looking for in a classy, yet cozy restaurant. Although the prices may bring along certain expectations, I would gladly pay that, and then some, to enjoy an awesome meal and great time at Cibo’s. Keep up the good work!

Great Italian food. Had the veal scaloppini. It was very good. Others had scallops which were large. Service very good. Make reservations they get crowded. Appertizers are small.

I want to say that I am giving this establishment a close 3 stars. I made the reservation on the phone with Dan. The phone message said the workers come in at 3pm and calls would be returned. He was able to fit me in after work at 830pm. When I got there, I sat at the bar. I got to watch Pepe in action. The patrons were live and bubbly. I met Nancy, Al and Karen. My water was served up right away. I may come again if there is an UYE so I’ll get to try some other stuff. I wasn’t overly impressed with anything I ordered. The bread came out and that was pretty good. They served hot with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, soft butter and some tomato based mix. I then ordered the carpaccio. I found the meat stuck to the plate. It didn’t seemed rubbed with olive oil and garlic. No vinaigrette and the capers were dry. I had the clams. Unfortunately, two were closed and about 10 were empty. I had the Caprese. The beef steak tomato didn’t taste vine ripened. The basil was tasteless and the mozzarella didn’t really accompany the appetizer. I think more balsamic vinegar would have been nice. For my entrée, I had the lamb loin. It was done ok. I asked for medium rare. The reduction sauce was ok and I really liked the mint sauce. The asparagus was thick and tasty. The mashed potato left something to be desired. I decided not to have a dessert. I figured I could have a crème brûlée or tiramisu anywhere so I wanted to try the cannoli. By the recommendations of the usuals, I took the check. Greg, I think is the owner, sat at the bar(Dan is the brother), but I don’t feel he took an interest in the patrons. I didn’t try to strike up a conversation with him anyway.
