High marks, though not perfect.
Pizza Pub offers a typical type of menu with a few specialty items. I have lost count of how many times I’ve visited Pizza Pub, but each time I walked away, I did so satisfied with a full stomach, and usually carrying a doggy-​bag as well. Yes, the portions are fantastic, but more than that, their food is exceptional and affordable.
As of this posting, I have tried many items, but not all. I do not like seafood, so I cannot comment on the fishy’s, but I can say (with extreme confidence) that the rest of what I’ve ordered has been exceptional. I’ve tried their eggplant parm, salads, white pizza, supreme pizza, and many of their sub sandwiches (both hot and cold). Which is my favorite? You tell me because I can’t decide. Their sub sandwiches are better than anything I’ve had at Subway, WaWa, or Jimmy John’s, and the cost is comparable. Their bread is baked fresh and the amount of ingredients they pile between those two halves is remarkable. Have you ever had an eggplant parm sub sandwich? If you like eggplant, I recommend it at Pizza Pub.
Originally, I’m from Southern California where there is an Italian restaurant called Carolina’s in Garden Grove (I wrote a Unilocal review on it a few years back) which I frequented. When leaving sunny SoCal for even sunnier SWF, I had it in my mind that I was leaving the best ma & pop, brick & mortar, family run-​styled Italian restaurant, and that I would never find another. Though Carolina’s is still my preferred, I didn’t dream of finding anything as close, and perhaps they would be equals if not for Pizza Pub’s service.
I’m not sure if because it’s already warm enough outside that Pizza Pub lacks a warm and friendly environment, but there is a lack of welcoming. I’m not saying all service is bad. I do not know the gentleman’s name, but the man at the counter who has taken care of take-​outs whenever I’ve visited is very pleasant and bends over backwards for service. I can’t give the same high remarks for one particular woman who makes you feel as though you’re intruding upon her personal time.
Alas, I do want to end this review on a high note by stating that whenever I’ve ordered take-​out, I’ve been given the time frame of 15 to 20 minutes. Usually, I arrive in 10 minutes with every intention of being there the moment it’s ready, only to find that they beat me to it.
High value food, always perfect al dente, fresh bread, affordable (they even have a $ 6 full meal menu), and conveniently positioned in the Myerlee strip mall on Winkler Rd., Pizza Pub is a hidden gem, though not that hidden. Be warned, lines can form, and to the best of my knowledge upon this writing, I don’t believe they take reservations. Aside from picking up take out, I’ve always been a walk-​in.

Extremely disappointed by the service here. Waitress was very rude and seemed rushed the whole time. Counter girl (the overweight one with brown hair) was also very rude. As a customer spending money here, I would advise you to take your money elsewhere to a business who cares about their customers. Definitely would not recommend at all and will make sure the group that recommended us knows about the awful service with the wait staff and it gets addressed immediately before they lose way more business.

We have been ordering from Pizza Pub for years and have always been happy with the food. Today after a long day of work for my husband and I we agreed it would be a pizza pub night.
I ordered the stuffed manicotti small portion because their full size portions are typically huge. Well here I am at 8pm staring a a container with one small stuffed manicotti which would be embarrassing on a children’s menu.
Since we order so frequently I called to ask if there was some mistake as this could not possibly be a portion. I was told it was and that for $ 9.75 I would get two.
Such a disappointment pizza pub I will post a picture. Have not taken a bite just moved the sauce out of the way so you can see how small my dinner is tonight.

First time customers. Went on a Friday around 3:30pm and it was quiet. Only one other table of diners. My husband and I tried the white pizza, a $ 6 eggplant parm meal, and a $ 6 ravioli meal. Everything was delicious. The bread that they brought to the table was warm and wonderful. We can’t wait to go there again.

Great little place. Food was home made for sure. Service was good. Very good value in their pricing. Good place for most any night during the week.

We were visiting Ft. Myers and needed food delivered as we did not have a car available one evening. We had pizza from Pizza Pub and it was excellent! The toppings were generous and delicious on the Chicken Parm Pizza along with plenty of cheese. The delivery service was prompt. Looking forward to trying other Italian entrees on our next visit.

This has been a favorite for a long time. Went last Friday and still had to wait. Every other restaurant in Ft. Myers is empty this time of year so you know they are doing something right. I love the $ 6 dinners. Just the right amount of food and the price is right. I usually get the chicken parm and hubby gets the sausage parm. Side order of garlic bread and we are happy customers.

The best pizza rolls in Ft. Myers!!! Love this place!!! Delicious sauce and food. The Salad bread and ranch dressing are great too!

Ditto to a previous review about the person taking the order. Put me on hold right after I called for a long time. Pizza was great but she did the exact thing to me and was a little rude while I was trying to give my order. She hung up so fast I never had a chance to give her a credit card.
Ordered from here the 2^nd time and again rude phone conversation and on hold but again food was great! I ordered 2 cannoli and never got them but wasn’t charged either. So their loss in revenue.

You know this place serves up something awesome when there is a wait outside a neighborhood pizza place. The pizza was great, extra cheese and extra everything else. The lasagna was fantastic as well. We left happy with leftovers!

Love the chicken parm for lunch or smaller dinner !! Lots of great other choices too !!

The BEST Italian food I have ever had. I look forward to coming to Florida for simply this restaurant! Casual dress for five-​star Italian food at reasonable prices. Beer and wine available and so are fountain drinks. Delivery available. I had the chicken parm… best chicken parm I have had in my entire life. Please try it, you will love it!

My husband and I visited a friend at an apartment complex off of Lakewood. Pizza Pub delivered right to the pool there after paying via credit card over the phone! We all ordered the same thing — chicken parmesean meal. The food was packaged well (hot despite delivery) and arrived way sooner than the estimate they gave me over the telephone. They also included what looked like an entire loaf of bread! The chicken parm was absolutely delicious. I will definitely order from Pizza Pub again.

This place is simply amazing. It is run by a husband and wife who are sincerely the nicest people and they recognize customers that come in frequently, like me. The pizza is better than what you get in New York, I would now. Visiting New York and having authentic New York pizza, this is so much better. The slices are huge, and there are plenty of them. You definitely get what you pay for here, I recommend this place to ALL of my family and friends. I do recommend calling ahead of what time you want your food, especially during season, it can be up to half an hour wait. Its worth it though

I had the Veal Parm this week and it fed me for two days. Have also had their pizza and it is very good.
Only downside is they are very busy. I suggest you eat there early or carry out. There is usually a line.

Pizza was great. Knocking one star off for snobby host or whoever took my order and delivery guy. But overall was really good New York style pizza at a great price. Ordered on a Tuesday night, sausage with half pep, with delivery was like $ 12. My wife and I both had lunch for the next day too. Would definitely order here again and hope for someone else to take my order :).

We had the specialty white pizza. All the ingredients are fresh — the mozzarella, the ricotta, the basil, the tomato — everything. The crust was perfect. There was a line to get in, but well worth the wait. Everyone with whom we talked said the rest of the extensive menu matched the quality. And, the staff were very personable and attentive. We will be back; no question.

We got basically everything on the menu for takeout. Busy Saturday night and the food was ready quickly. We all really enjoyed it here on vacation. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

Been a few times, always great! Super yummy Meatballs as an app or over a huge plate of spaghetti. Pasta sauce tastes how a good sauce should, simple fresh ingredients, tasty! The sausage on the pizza is flavorful with out being to spicy, they achieve perfection on the pizza crust! We had the mussels too w the garlic and oil, couldn’t stop dipping the bread in the sauce.
Fast service and huge portions are always a win! Typically each entrée dish lasts us 3 meals, huge portions, great value.
It’s super nice that they deliver too. Can’t wait to go back and try different items!
