I visited Fire House subs on 41 and College for the first time. First of all let me say that the sub was very good. But I was a little disappointed when it came out as a deflated version of its advertised picture on the ordering wall. I don’t like it when the product looks little like its advertisement. I had the NY steamer. Even with the upgrade to large– it just seemed medium at best. It was flavorful and warm but left me wanting more– and for $ 10, I was expecting better. I do like the fact that this place has one of those computerized drink machines offering many combinations of several varieties of soft drinks. I will be back– but only when Jersey Mikes is not calling.

Very good, but there were a NUMBER of empty hot sauce bottles when my son and I came in. Otherwise, a five of five.

Always on the lookout for good sub sandwiches, my husband and I went here for the first time last night. I had the NY Steamer and my husband had the Smokehouse Beer and Cheddar Brisket… we got ours to go and both got a 12 inch. Wow, delicious! The young people behind the counter were so polite and courteous, we didn’t wait long for our order yet the girl serving us apologized for the wait. My husband knows I’m going to be bugging him for this again very soon!

This place has the yummiest subs. First they toast your bun and then they steam the meat and cheese so your sandwich is hot and juicy and delicious. The hook and ladder is so yummy, get it served fully involved you just can’t miss!
