Wow!!! Bad customer service. Keep in mind the is the one by Bell Tower. Not the one at Alico and Ben Hill Griffin. That location has it together. This one, NO!!! They will not provide extra gravy if you ask, even if you are willing to pay for it. The quality of meat is not good. Items are always missing from my order. Really sad. I’ve given this place several chances.

Talk about false advertisement here is their new chicken skewers extremely dry and chewy … Just wanted to put it out there sad waste of money

The food here is very good and the service was good too. Be sure to try the mojo roast pork and the chipotle garlic sauce! It is very tasty! The sweet plantains are also extremely delicious!

Drive through employees are soooo rude. They don’t speak to you at all. No hello, your total is, thank you, nothing. They barely even look at you. I feel like I’m bothering them. I come her once a week and I’ve just kinda accepted that they are not going to be nice at all. It’s super convenient for me to come here and pick up fast food for my family that isn’t fried. That’s the only reason I still come here.

It was very good. I had the tropi-​chop with chicken, yellow rice, beans and tomatoes. The chicken was tender and delicious. The sauce bar had some really interesting flavors; definitely worth a try. Loved the mango ice tea– and they have sweet and un-​sweet. The man who brought our food was friendly and had a suggestion on what to try next time. Real forks & dishes makes it a step up from regular fast food. Good value for the money. Will definitely go again.

While my boyfriend and I were in Ft. Myers visiting his sister who’d recently had a baby, we stopped by Pollo Tropical to pick up some dinner for the whole family (me, him, his aunt and his sister).
I’d only been to Pollo Tropical once before since it’s a relative oddity in Atlanta, GA, where I live. Plus it had been a couple of years since that one visit for lunch, so this was like a whole new experience all over again.
Pollo Tropical is similar to Chik-​fil-​A in that you order your food up front and then it’s made for you, then you pick it up and take it to your table. It’s like fast food, but a step above in quality and service.
Since we were getting take out for a group, we ordered the whole grilled chicken family meal with yucca with garlic sauce and corn soufflé for sides, a bowl of caribbean soup (his aunt’s request), side salad and mojo roast pork. Then we loaded up on the 500 varieties of sauces at Pollo’s sauce bar: BBQ sauce, garlic sauce, pineapple relish, curry mustard, guava BBQ sauce, the list goes on.
In no time at all, the order was ready (and correct — we double checked in the car), and we were on our way home. Boy, did that turn out to be A LOT of food. Between the four of us, we polished off the soup, part of the chicken, part of the yucca, the corn soufflé, part of the salad and part of the pork, with leftovers of everything.
It all tasted very good. I especially enjoyed the corn soufflé and the mojo roast pork — good flavor. Pollo Tropical does a good job, I’d patronize them again in the future.

I’m happy with the quality of the food and the variety. This is a great alternative to other fast food joints. The food is fresh and healthier than some other choices. The help is questionable at times. My cashier today had her mind on something other than her job and didn’t portray she was happy to be here. I don’t know if she is like this all the time. But if I were her manager I’d have a sit down with her.
