This is a consistently great place for quality food and creative dishes, at very a reasonable price. Creative drinks, a covered outdoor bar and Caribbean steal drum music. I’ve never been disappointed.

I have been coming to my local Bahama Breeze for a little over a year now and I fell in love with the Jamaican stuffed Plantain that was on the menu. I was craving Bahama Breeze today and was very disappointed that my all-time favorite item was taken off the menu!!! I know a couple friends that would only order that as their entrée, including me. Still love the food, today I tried the Shrimp and Mahi in lemongrass sauce! We will see how it goes. And the beef empanadas are always the best for an appetizer!!!

We have been here multiple times and always enjoy it. Love the happy hour prices. We went last Friday night with a large group of friends(9 people) and had a wonderful time– great food and great service!

So we came in Friday around 4 for happy hour food and Tori waited on us. I must say Tori is an amazing waitress and you guys are luck to have her. Hands down the best waitress I’ve ever had here, there or heck anywhere. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, attentive, extremely personable that bubbly out going personality you expect from a good waitress. She guided us through the menu, answered all our questions. We decided on the lobster shrimp quesadilla and fire shrimp scampi something(her suggestions and might I add a very good one) and kids chicken tenders. Our food was so favorable and delicious I couldn’t stop eating it. Not to mention whatever she suggested came with bread(my weakness) and when I ran out she grabbed me another loaf without even asking. My only guess was Tori clearly seen the disappointment on my face when I had more shrimp sauce and no bread as she walked by. She even personalized our check with a «Thanks for stopping in and have a beautiful weekend» I love when waitress take the time to do that. We’ll return to have Tori wait on us again, thanks so much for EVERYTHING Tori.

Stopped by Bahama Breeze for lunch twice during my stay in Fort Myers, FL. They have a great lunch menu. You could choose a type of fish including fresh catch of the day and then pick either wood grilled or sautéed then choose a cooking style. Per the server, almond crusted and mango glazed are the two most popular cooking styles. I personally like the creole(bell pepper, onion and tomato sauce) style better. The meal also comes with either broccoli or green beans and either cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes or mashed potatoes or yellow rice. You could double the veggies and add $ 2.99 for a side salad instead. All these were priced at under $ 15. The best deals are the lunch combinations, they have coconut shrimps for $ 8.99, quesadilla, mahi tacos with a side of guacamole, etc. All lunch combinations come with either Caesar salad or house salad or soup. I personally like their house salad with the island vinaigrette dressing. The house salad is nicely decorated(see my pictures) and they even put 1.5 plum tomato(cut in halves) in there! In addition to lunch, I ordered the Ahi tuna stack and crab meat tower(I forgot the name) for appetizers. Both were excellent and my favorite dishes. The best part of Bahama Breeze is their island themed drinks. My recommendation is to come here during happy hour for discount priced drinks and appetizers. My personal favorite is the ultimate piña colada. Overall, I like the Caribbean theme of Bahama Breeze, it reminds me of my last trips to the Caribbean — outdoor seatings(they have a band playing in the outdoor dining area at certain locations) and good seafood and drinks.

I really liked this place. Great place with great food and happy hour is excellent timing. I ordered paella and it was fantastic. Loaded with mussels, shrimp, chorizo, scallops and just enough chicken. Yes, it’s a chain restaurant but the food is consistently good. Service could be better.

Was pleasantly surprised with the food here. Our group had appetizers, salads(go with the island vinaigrette) burger, shrimp, and quesadilla. All were very good! Not a huge fan of the margaritas — weak and vet«mix» tasting. Good food though!

Our last night of vacation we decided to check out Bahama Breeze since they don’t have many up north. What a disappointment. Pros: We made online reservations. So we walked right in and were seated. Cons: After taking our drink and appetizer order our server disappeared for 20 plus minutes. After 30 minutes we finally placed our food order. When our food came out it was sub par. Fish in the Key West Tacos was dried out. Pasta was cold. And salad dressing was wrong. Next time was saw our server we were so fed up we couldn’t wait to leave.

First to mention we’ve been going there for years but lately it seems big corporate Is concerned about profits over quality and quantity. With our dinner I ordered two appetizers, the small order was three onion rings for three dollars. Really? I got two big and the end which was the size of a quarter. How embarrassing. The conch fritters were also a joke it was all batter. WHERESTHEFISH? I called to complain but I’m sure it fell on deaf ears . DONEWITHTHATPLACE.

Good portion sizes. Surprisingly tasty food. Great paella 2nd visit. In season. Much busier. Horrible service. Granted it’s busy lots of people. Popular place. Does not give them an excuse for the worst service, a nightmare of embarrassment for locals who are bringing out of town guests. Wait staff standing around out of sight(or so they thought) while the others are short staffed and unable to service the tables. Food is fantastic but when you are served dinner at 10 pm with reservations at 7:15 pm you have to wonder… why?

Met some family and friends at this local eatery for lunch last week. I had a chicken ceasar salad with grilled chicken. The lettuce was crisp and fresh tasting and the amount of dressing matched my request perfectly. The chicken had a slightly sweet Hawaiian style glaze that gave the salad a little pop. Service was a little slow but the place was quite busy so I will let them off on this one. Prices are fair, parking easy and the dining room was clean and decorated well. Yes, I would go back again.

FORTMYERS, FLORIDA06 Mar 16 We went to the Bahama for a cool Breeze today and enjoyed a delicious lunch. My friend and I both had the Fish Tacos while his wife enjoyed a chicken sandwich. I forgot to take photos but there are already enough photos on Unilocal of this place to demonstrate that it is a comfortable place to dine. There is fine outdoor dining available for a beautiful day like today with temperatures in the 70’s. There are also covered shaded areas outside to protect you from the Sun if you have sensitive skin. There is also a comfortable indoor dining area which is air conditioned with a pleasant ambiance. Back to the Fish Tacos. I am accustomed to beef or chicken tacos and the thought of Fish and Taco being joined, uuuffff. However, it was quite tasty and being sea food, lower in caloric intake, and considered to be healthy eating. The fish was Mahi Mahi and it was my first time ever with a Mahi. Notice, I didn’t stutter. We had the side dish of fruit covered with a Mango Sorbet. Hmmm, that was pleasing to the palate. All in all, we enjoyed our noontime luncheon due to the ambiance, the cool outdoor breeze, and comfortable seating. They only received 4 stars as service was slow. In their defense they were quite busy. But hey ! Hire more help !

This is perhaps a 3.5 star place. Atmosphere A Service A Drinks B Food B+ Which is not bad, thus the 4th star. But my problem is soul. Or lack of. This is a Darden(big corporate restaurant) place, so you kinda know what to expect. This place tries to replicate the spirit of the Caribbean/tropics, yet seems so inauthentic. No enthusiasm. No fun. No soul. If you can get past that spiritual deficit, the meal experience is pretty good. I ordered one of the special new margaritas(mango) which was basically fruit juice on ice. I had snapper Veracruz for entrée which was delicious. Spouse had a salad of salmon on a tostada with corn/bean salsa, excellent. Service was prompt, and we sat outside on a lovely evening. Music provided by a live balding aging white guy playing steel drum not well. Coulda been great, not so much. With some coaching on soul and fun, this place could be a winner. They have all the basics covered, well played Darden!

Bahama Breeze is always packed. Always! I have only tried their Tostones w/Chicken and Jerk Wings. Cannot, and will not ever change that. They are Too enjoyable, I will not budge. Plus, they make a pretty decent mojito with plenty of mint, lime and a sugar cane stick for extra bonus:-) Don’t you hate when you get a Mojito and it has like 2 mint leaves? Disgrace to the Mojito race. For anyone who knows about mojitos, they know exactly what I’m talking about, and that it’s very hard to find a good one around these parts. So, just for these 3 things, no one will ever have to twist my arm to go here, I’m down.

You had me at half price happy hour! My wife and I decided to celebrate happy hour with another couple of friends, and had great drinks and appetizers. We ordered the onion rings which were nicely crunchy with a coconut coating. They were served with a spicy sweet dipping sauce that complemented well. Next up was the crab stack, which was very nice and topped with large pieces of crab an cool guacamole. Spinach artichoke dip was the least of our favorites, but was pretty standard. And finally we sampled the lobster quesadilla. We enjoyed a refreshing monitor, and the fact that the check was so small! If we had one of these nearby I could easily see this becoming a go to happy hour!

I am not really a fan of mass chain restaurants but I often give them a chance especially if the atmosphere seems fun. I have been to a variety of Bahama Breeze locations through out the years so I gave the Fort Myers one a try. I tried really hard to like this place and after two different visit I must say I am disappointed with the food, service and quality of the drinks. However, the music on the patio is always great to hear and the happy hour specials are crazy cheap. Last visit I had a skinny margarita. Low calorie version is nice to have but it did not seems to have a full shot of tequila in it plus not part of the great happy hour special unfortunately. We have tried the lobster quesadilla and it was good but we felt it lacked the proper amount of lobster– some pieces were just all cheese. I also tried the mahi tacos, they tasted fresh but they were too bland for my taste. My husband had the chicken, broccoli and sweet potatoes and he says he would not get it again. This location gets crazy busy, especially during season. So be prepared to wait or arrive during off dining times. The restaurant is clean, staff friendly but due to the crowd the service seems to suffer.
