MAGGOT in my pancake… Nasty … the manager and staff were very apologetic but still I had a Maggot in my pancake… when the manager came out I had been to bathroom twice throwing up … he brought with him a half of a pecan and tried to tell me that’s what I saw … I was nice but my response was don’t insult me by trying to tell me that was a pecan not a Maggot, I know what a Maggot is and that was a MAGGOT … from either flour or pecans or maybe they don’t cover their food cups near cooking station or clean them out BUT that is no excuse for a customer getting a MAGGOT in MYFOOD… yes the manager gave me a gift card and we didn’t pay for our meal but I will never return to that first watch or maybe not ever to any locations… THAT’S NASTYANDFILTHY! AGAIN I CAN’T BELIEVEHETRIEDTOMAKEMETHINKITWAS A PECAN … STUPIDME I WASSOSICKTHROWINGUPANDTRYINGTONOTTHROWUPINDININGROOM, WHILETRYINGTOMAKEITTOTHEBATHROOM I DIDN’T GET A PHOTO… TRUSTMETHISISNOT A JOKE, I WASN’T LOOKINGFOR A FREEMEALORHANDOUT… THISISREAL A MAGGOTWASINMYPANCAKEWITHBLUEBERRIESANDPECANS!!!

Free me from these chains. Even though they are a chain establishment, I heard much about the first watch restaurants so wanted to give them a try. I will say as chains go they are a step above quality but not by much. Not sure if their batters are from a mix but they sure tasted like it. Coffee served in a metal container and that was the flavor that came across. Salads looked fresh from afar and the ciabatta bread was nothing at all special. For a small sandwich, coffee and 2 pancakes the price was over $ 20. Could no understand why people are lined up to eat there. Must be me. Maybe I’m just anti-chains, but won’t be coming back.

The food was great and the menu had lots of variety. The location had comfortable surroundings and lots of available parking. The table service was good and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Been trying to get my husband to go and finally did with a bogo coupon! So glad! He loved it and will be back! Had to try the pancakes that they say are humongous! Blueberry was full of berries and came with a blueberry sauce on the side. The Works Omlette was delish and full of ham, bacon, sausage, shrooms, tomatoes, onions and cheese! Yum! The side potatoes are cooked great, still soft, but have a crisp on the outside. Cute restaurant! Server was training another server and both did great. Will be back and def recommend!

I ordered the«works omlette. This omlette sounded great. As it turns out, it was just eggs with hardly anything in it. Oh, it had some diced ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatos, onions, and several types of cheese. But what was there was all diced except for the mushroom. I did not have potatos or toast because I am not eating carbs(as much as I would like to). Can’t write about the pancakes etc. By the way, this place was very loud. There was a constant clanging of dishes, glasses, and silverware. Patrons needed to speak loud over each other. This location obviously needs some sound supression materials. Sorry First Watch, hope this is a wakeup call. OK. So I have been here 2 times in the last week. Now that it is not«season» any longer the place was busy, but, not packed.(I do not think it was season when I wrote this review. Maybe it was a weekend day) It was not loud like the first time I was here. I kept it simple. Eggs over easy, bacon, had the potatoes and a slice of toast. All good. Except over easy came out over fairly hard on one occasion . My wife had a pancake which she said was very good. A friend had waffle that he was very happy with. Waitress was attentive, personable, and professional. As it happened it was both times that she was assigned to the table that I was sat at. I am increasing the rating to 3 stars. I still do not think I will order an omlet. Do not like diced ingredients. Keep that preperation for toddlers.

First Watch is always our go to spot for a great breakfast or lunch. The staff at the McGreggor location is great, friendly and attentive. We are never disappointed when we come here as the food portions are very generous, delicious, healthy and priced right! Love, love, love this place!

First time I’ve been in in a while and first time to this location but I was happy to see that they still use nice, fresh ingredients. We got breakfast this time and were not disappointed. I love their lunches, too. One thing they do that very few, if any restaurants do: when ordering pancakes, french toast, or waffles, you can request real maple syrup for a small extra charge. Most breakfast places do not do that.

Not happy. Eggs must have been old. Got sick! Had the tri-fecta. Overcrowded and overrated. Slow to get food – others at table had food 15 before I did. Took whole day to feel slightly better. Won’t eat there again. Thank you for your concern. I was writing about my experience and didn’t include that two others in my party fell ill as well yet not to the degree I had. as you see I was in after church and submitted my review many hours later because I was ill and slept into the evening. I regret submitting comments because I feel questioned as to my authenticity. I am not from here and saw your establishment at night on the 4th. have a great day.

Absolutely divine coffee. Had the maple-lemon vinaigrette on their Superfood salad — so so yummy! I asked for a substitution of spinach for the kale and they were generously accommodating. Multigrain bread is memorable, also. I love to come here every time I visit SW Florida.

A nice small chain in Fla; A and I met friends at this spot in Ft. Myers. Based on our experience and the constant waiting list, you won’t have a bad meal at this spot. So park that caddie, grab your walker and order up some good coffee and eggs!

Yesterday was our first visit to a First Watch and we were very impressed. I had a special of avocado toast and S had eggs and huge pancake, all reasonably priced, all delicious. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, the place is very clean and attractive. We can’t wait to come back.

Best breakfast we’ve had in a long time! My husband and I both ordered the Sausage Skillet Potatoes – eggs, mozzarella, potatoes, roasted red peppers, English muffin! Service was great, too! Scott is a great waiter!

I loved this place so much we came here twice. It was one a few places with healthy options in addition to usual breakfast fare. So many options! On the weekend it was super busy around 10am. We waited about 10 mins to get a table. Service was very friendly and quick. First time we went I got the Harvest Hash special — sweet potatoes, mushrooms and zucchini with poached eggs on top, with hollandaise sauce. It’s like all my favourite things in one dish. Hubby got something similar off the regular menu but with potatoes. The next time, I got the CrepeEggs — egg, avocado, bacon, cheese wrapped in a perfectly cooked crêpe with sour cream on top. It was really good. I would eat this again. Recommended! This place is great, and definately to check out.

Amazing place. Great service, great energetic atmosphere. Amazing healthy food options, it’s not often that you see quinoa on a breakfast menu. Our server Joy was very accommodating. One person in our party was a vegetarian with a gluten free and lactose free diet and there was plenty on the menu that fit that criteria and adjustments were made to the squash quinoa for her. My husband had basic breakfast with eggs and sausage and a pancake and said it was one of the best pancakes he ever had. He had the bacon cheddar one. I would definitely come back to this place if I was ever in the area.

This First Watch is surprisingly easy to get to from where I live. The only problem is it’s tiny. It is in a big shopping plaza(I noticed a couple more restaurants and some decent stores), but inside this particular FW, it’s a bit cramped. It doesn’t help I was there during a peak hour and every table was full. I think you can fit this one into the space of another location and still have room for more tables. From the entrance and lobby, you can see every single table and what people ordered. There were perhaps 2 dozen tables, give or take a stroller or two, plus eagle eye vision to the kitchen. Other First Watches I’ve been in, have their tables more spaced out, because there’s probably a good hundred feet more space. It does make all the difference — when the tables aren’t on top of each other and you are able to hear your party. On the positive side: The Floridian French Toast was rather filling. First time I’ve had wheat germ in my meal(they also include cinnamon sugar on top). The fresh fruit mix of bananas, strawberries and kiwi slices on the bread was a nice tough, and with a little cup of blueberry mash(they had boiled down blueberries into a syrup of sorts to serve on the side… as well as normal syrup), I ate the whole breakfast. BLT Eggs Benedict was one of the meals of the day, and it looked amazing. My company ended up ordering that, with the hollandaise on the side, and she too, ate the whole thing. She said it was one of the best things she’s ordered recently. Guess neither of us liked the meal ;) Service was attentive, however, they were all a little rushed due to having more guests than employees at the time we were in. I feel bad for the group next to me — one woman got ice water spilled all over the table and on her, as the waitress was moving so quickly, the pitcher just slipped out of her hands. Plus side is she apologized, replaced the meal with a less watered down version, and it was 100 degrees out because of the humidity. Good thing is we don’t live in snow country and it’s not December.

This(and other First Watch locations) is my favorite breakfast place in Fort Myers, hands down. The service is always very friendly and I have NEVER been given a hard time about my order(tons of changes and substitutions). The food is fresh and there are plenty of healthy options. I only wish that it weren’t so jam packed during season, because it can take two hours to get a table.

First Watch is always a good spot to go for if you’re looking for some wholesome breakfast/brunch food. Prices are great. Atmosphere is inviting. Staff is kind. Portions are perfect. Living in Cleveland and coming to check out one where they started in Florida — I was hoping the menu would be a little different but I didn’t notice anything local. That was really the only disappointing thing. I’d also like to see some mochas or lattes or something more to that effect on the menu. Otherwise, good food and good price. Would recommend and would go back.

I like breakfast here best. Service has always been adequate even when busy. There are lots of menu choices. Portions are decent sized. I’ve always gotten my meal in short order.
