For the Bride

The dress is beautiful but the contract wasn’t explained nor was the hemming process. You will have 3 fittings reguardless of how far away you live. Near confrontational experience after initial visit about fittings, times and pickup. Most of the staff was pleasant to deal with.

Wendy is THE BEST! As a local wedding planner, this is absolutely where I send all of my brides that are looking for a dress or alterations!

I had anxiety shopping for a dress and knew that I am not the smallest and skinniest (I wear a size 8 normal woman sizes) and wedding dresses typically come much smaller than that. Initially trying dresses on made me have a little breakdown but then Wendy the owner stepped in, had me try on some that she specifically picked for me and they were all gorgeous! I absolutely love my dress and I cannot wait to get married in it! Her styles are beautiful and the prices are great!

My experience with For the bride was great. The staff was very helpful and sincere. Wendy the owner made my wedding dress experience memorable. I tried on dresses all throughout southwest Florida and this place made me feel as ease. My dress was gorgeous and I only reason why I found it was because Wendy had just gotten the dress into her shop. She asked if I would try it on for her and I feel in love with it. Thank you For the Bride for all your help. Everyone loved the dress!!! you guys rock!

I had pretty much the worst experience ever at this store. I agree with most of these reviews, MOST of the staff are great. I, unfortunately, was stuck with a horrible person who made me feel like the fattest person alive. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you aren’t supposed to feel fat while looking for a wedding dress. I almost started crying at one point. While I don’t remember her name, she was an older lady with blonde hair who would not put me in any dress that I picked out to try on. She repeatedly said that I wouldn’t be able to fit into dresses and kept telling me to look in the plus size section «because there’s no way you’ll fit into any of these dresses». SOMEHOW I found my wedding dress while I was there, but you can guarantee I did not buy it there. I bought it at a wonderful bridal store in Bonita where the lady said «I actually cut open a dress one time so that this girl could try it on». So if you are looking for a wedding dress and don’t want to be ridiculed for not being a size 2, don’t go to For the Bride.

Staff was low-​key and friendly. However, the selection was extremely limited and only one sample size available per dress. This is an okay salon if you’re trying to narrow down a style you like but chances are you will purchase elsewhere. The prices, however, are great.

The owner and all of the staff are wonderful to work with. I am really indecisive, they were very patient and did not make me feel pressured at all. Highly recommend them!

Wendy the owner help me .She was very patient and willing to go beyond the call of duty… She was willing to help me find the perfect dress and my bridesmaids dresses, too. I can’t wait to see my dress and my bridesmaids dresses. I would definitely recommend this place… Great place !!!
