The food is amazing, and the wine is great(and reasonably priced). Harold buys his food from an organic farm in North Fort Myers. So everything(except the wine) is locally raised/grown, and organic. Love the atmosphere and the food. Harold has been a local restaurant owner for more than ten years. Always does an amazing job. Definitely in my top three for restaurants in the whole area. We used to go to Naples to eat. Harold’s and a couple of other restaurants in the Fort Myers-Cape Coral Corridor have better food than down South, regardless of the price. However, it turns out they do it at is less than half the price. Bonus. Small restaurant. Seats less than 30 people. Reservations are highly recommended.

Went to Harold’s last night with 4 other people. Luckily we had reservations since it is a very small restaurant and they tried to squeeze too many people in it. The wait staff had trouble even getting to our table. There was a «surprise birthday party» of about 14 people. Too bad Harold’s does not have a private room because they dominated the room and raised the noise level to outrageous/unacceptable. My party couldn’t wait to get out of there. The hostess tried to make up by giving us a free dessert but we decided to take it to go. It was without a doubt the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. On the positive side, the menu is interesting and the food excellent, but I doubt anyone in out party will go there again. The noise level simply ruined the evening.

We had an incredible meal and impeccable service at Harold’s. Chef Harold’s food makes me happy — just fresh, flavorful, unique, well-made dishes. Everything was devoured. The restaurant is elegant, but cozy, the servers are attentive and friendly, and they have a great selection of wine. This meal was the highlight of our vacation to Ft. Myers!

Stopped in on a whim to see what’s going on here. The hostess was totally flustered because we had no reservation. I asked if we could sit at the bar, she said she would have to ask because there were seats reserved. Well there were at least 20 seats open. Couldn’t you find a place for two of us? Bottom line, didn’t feel welcomed. So when I said, well we just want to see what this place is about, maybe just wine and an appetizer. she sat us at the five seat bar, but made it clear that there were two other people coming and that we could only sit at a specified two seats. OK… we weren’t concerned about whoever else might be coming,. But it felt like we were being screened, as she wasn’t sure we could actually take a seat and had to ask in the kitchen if it was ok. There was nothing that said we had to have reservations. My friend asked for champagne and they replied well we have proseco. OK then we will have a split. thanks. I asked for fois gras. It came wIth cherries and some kind of nuts, heavily sauced. What a disappointment. It was floating in fat, the bread beneath was soggy, and it was way too complicated. Took me a while to FIND the fois gras in this dish. When I did, it was melt in your mouth good, sans the sauce, gravy, soggy bread and whatever else was floating around it. I would love to have had it with a simple crostini. I had no place to spread it… I read another review from November and the reviewer also suggested that the bread beneath this could be improved. So I guess no changes based on what customers suggest. I would be hesitant to stop in again because I don’t appreciate being screened at the door and then told there were no seats, when there were at least three tables and four at the bar. and a deuce outside. Both I and my friend felt judged, sized up, not up to par. What happened to hospitality where anyone could be served and welcomed? I say don’t bother.

Ate here tonight. This is where Blue Windows Bistro was. New restaurant and quite excellent. Food is original, fresh and delicious. Our second visit. I had the Foie gras, parpadelle bolognese and steak. All perfect. My wife had deviled eggs(wow she said), salad and hog fish. My daughter had BBQ pork belly(I had it the last time and loved it), shrimp bisque and she had the hog fish too. We never heard of hog fish but now they know it’s great — at least here. Wine was very good. We over indulged and ate desert. Too much to eat but we left very happy. The service is experienced, efficient and makes you feel welcome. Great addition to the Fort Myers restaurant scene. Harold has a winner.
