If they’d fire the blonde bartender who decided too many girls was a threat to her attention instead of recognizing the money potential, I’d be happy to try it again! Fun games and atmosphere. Management was very nice after our very bad treatment.

My wife and I just moved into this area in the last few months and we pass it along the way to and from our adventures. Since we love BBQ, and prefer trying local places, we stopped by hoping we would find a good BBQ place here we can regularly come to. We couldn’t have been more wrong. I think if I were to sum up what we feel is the problem, it would be… They just don’t care anymore. We got the cheese fries to start and they weren’t bad(kinda difficult to mess up cheese fries), but boy did they look old and tired. If I had to bet, I would bet that they got microwaved at some point. We ordered the rib bucket and we were excited. Until we saw it. The beans looked like plain beans from a can, and the worst part was that the ribs looked like they were boiled, not smoked or even grilled. Bland too. We asked the waitress if they boil the ribs(more as a nicety because there was really no doubt). She came back and she told us they were smoked, not boiled. Wrong. The ribs were wet and bloated, rubbery and they were not juicy with fat, it had to have been water. No bark either. I’ve spoken to grill masters about this and they had experience with both boiled and not boiled and they agreed with my assessment — those ribs were boiled. Which is a huge shame considering that enormous smoker they have outside advertising the place. It’s just a decoration apparently. I can count in one hand how many times we’ve walked out from a restaurant without eating our food out of the hundreds if not a thousand times we’ve gone and unfortunately, we had to add MacDaddy’s to that small exclusive club. There was no way we were going to spend that kind of money on the poor quality food that was brought out to us. As far as any redeeming qualities, the waitress was nice and she was understanding — albeit perhaps there was some naiveté on her part since she was so young. She comped us the bucket, but we did pay the cheese fries and drinks, as well as a decent tip. I think we were generous(not for the tip part, she certainly deserved it, but we probably should have been comped completely for their lack of care, but hey… They don’t care). But pehaps the bar scene would be a better bet for patrons who like that sort of thing. But for a quality culinary experience, keep on driving. I’m sure you’ll get more care and quality at any fast food place.

We waited around five minutes at the host stand before we were greeted and seated, and the restaurant was practically barren except for a couple of bar flies. The waitress was sweet but we ordered top shelf liquor and got well, and the taste was noticeable. She had to bring us a glass of cola to mix the cocktail ourselves at the table. The appetizer we ordered was missing have the toppings listed on the menu. Our seafood was overcooked and definitely not worth what we paid. There was another waitress nearby loudly proclaiming how she didn’t care about the service she was about to provide to a large group because she worked a long shift the previous day. At the end of the meal the waitress stood by the table while I signed the check. It’s very obvious that they were cutting corners in this establishment.

I love to support local businesses and this was a great find! Their pulled pork was tender, juicy and among the best I’ve found. Service was great, will definitely be back!

It was ok. I will go back to try more dishes and sides. It is a little overpriced. I was disappointed that they don’t offer brisket. The service was good.

1 star off because the food is a little overpriced for standard BBQ fare, and another star off because my server – though very friendly – took quite a while after seating me to come back and take my order(and the place was practically empty). But the food came out super fast and its some of the juiciest and most flavorful pulled pork I’ve ever had. Delicious! And their homemade potato chips are excellent.

Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon with only a few people sitting at the bar. I was planning on have a couple of cold beers and some bar food which never happened. When the bartender told me that it was going to cost me $ 2.75 for a 10ounce beer I said no way José. I don’t know how the food is and it maybe great but there is no way I’m paying those prices. I decided to go across and receive a pint for $ 2.00 which is a lot more reasonable. I did like the look of the place and possibly will try it again.

Have driven past this restaurant so many times living in southwest Florida. Our family loves BBQ and decided that today was the day we were going to finally get to try MacDaddy’s. We came at an off peak time. The restaurant was empty but it still took a while to get noticed and then seated. The menu was a disappointment, as we were expecting more BBQ and less pub grub, but we placed our order and waited… and waited… and waited. Finally got our food after way too long considering the store was practically empty. My husband ordered a slaw dog, which he received, chopped into four pieces and looking like the cook prechewed it for him. The bun was burned and falling apart and terribly dry. Wanting to complain, we kept looking around for someone to speak to. Our waitress was hiding in the kitchen, the manager was behind the bar and the bartender was oblivious. Finally, my husband took the food to the manager(who turned out to be the owner), who didn’t even see a problem with the food that was presented. The burger I got was over done, the ribs my daughter ordered were not even smoked, but more like boiled. The food is awful. I will never EVER go back and cannot believe that we even paid for what was received. This place is obviously a drinking hang out and definitely NOT known for its food. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I don’t know how the food is. My wife and I got ignored from the instant we walked in the door. The hostess ignored us as we stood there waiting to get a table. After she got yelled at by, what I assume is a manager we got seated. Only to sit there for ten minutes to be ignored by the waitresses. I watched 3 guys come in after us and they got service right away. Good luck trying to get us to come back.

This was a nice little bar across the street from my hotel in Fort Myers, nice place which was divided in 2. One side for the restaurant and the other for the bar, I was on the bar side where we had plenty of cold beers, TV’s playing sports and plenty of bar snacks. Oh and the $ 1.50 draft beer definitely kept us happy during our stay. A great spot to have a few pints on a budget.

I like the truck out in front. Good Food, I had the pulled pork, not exceptional, but good. I would go back, but it is not necessarily someplace I would send someone as a place they have to go to get the very best BBQ. Server was good.

Nothing special, for a BBQ place they don’t seem to do a lot of bbq, there is some pulled pork & ribs but I don’t remember seeing any brisket, tips, or any other standard Q fair. I wasn’t too interested in a bucket o’ pulled pork so got a buffalo chicken sandwich. We had three different waitresses, all were nice but the whole operation seemed unorganized, on one hand we got food, two sides were incorrect, no big deal but I wasn’t surprised. Yeah I’m not planning on coming back but won’t be too upset if I have to.

Attack of the spelpers? Yeesh. Haven’t seen more undeserving 1s and 5s since Avatar. MacDaddy’s is alright. And as a Gator in ‘Nole country, that’s tough to admit. Banners sponsored Anheuser-Busch string from every usable banister in the Hooters knock-off interior. Cheap buckets are a(pardon the pun) dime a dozen in SWFL, so what we’re left to comb with our fine teeth are the chow and cheer, one definitely soaring above the other. Jessica was a doll. Our limited high top space never cluttered with empty bottles(5 Buds for $ 10, Coronas for $ 12) and I swear, she never stopped grinning — even when a few Easties decided to excuse themselves from dropping ass at the bar and proceeded to turn their stools upside down on the service area. Obviously skipping class the day they taught about tipping chairs in school, these moronic wrongs were righted by our heroine, again, with a big, bright smile. Management: take note. The food is generic and the only hook in the house played like a cliché — we take bar grub and put it in a bucket! Pricey for the quality, the pulled pork is a juicy house staple while the blackened grouper lacked spice, texture and a decent tartar. Oh, tartar was served, but it only sang turned mayo with pickle flecks mixed in. With a giant smoker out front, I thought the menu would lean heavier on BBQ, but instead the menu’s littered with a bit o’ everything. Stay true to the game, son. A decent spot to meet with friends, grab a cheap beer and watch the AKC Kennel Club on one of the littany of TVs surrounding the bar. Great food? No. Great service? Yes. You make the call.

Came here to get 10 wings + fries to go after work. Took 30 minutes. The only people in the restaurant was some drunk old man hitting on the girls working there, and some lone business man that ordered a beer then promptly left.(I don’t blame him!) The wings were decent, but how do you screw up fried chicken tossed in franks red hot? Not coming back.

OMG, don’t do it. Horrible food. The only reason I would ever go back here is because the girls there were so nice and I feel bad for them.

The sliders were great. I got the bucket of sliders with pulled pork, chicken, and Angus burgers. the mac and cheese was a little underwelming but its hard to find«real» mac and cheese anywhere nowadays lol. I went with my girlfriend and we split a meal and we were still full. The portions are good and the prices aren’t bad. Now all they need is a lunch menu lol.

I’m a traveling salesman, so I like to find places close to my hotel. MacDaddys fit the biil. Lots of locals hang out at Happy Hour and I see why. Great Beer prices and Great food prices. Everyone was very friendly. I recommend this place to everyone, even families. They have a little area with a large flat screen for the kids and several things to keep them entertained.
