Oh, you can do shots with the staff –they drink while working, and so does the owner. But he makes it clear he doesn’t want your business. I got the memo. I have some green money to spend elsewhere.

Great food!!! Best calamari in town, breaded to order. Our server was very friendly and the owner was there helping out as well which I love to see. Seafood quesadilla is my favorite. I’ve never had a bad dish!!! Highly recommend. Good games as well.

The food here is still terrible. The locals 60+ love it and I just cannot figure it out. Sorry Michael.

We would not return simply because wait staff was extremely rude. Never EVER have been treated so poorly. The young male «runner» was awesome.

I have been a regular customer for years now… The bartenders are the greatest. The food is very good given it is a pub atmosphere. Ryan, Alex, Brittany and all the staff. are down to earth fabulous bartenders!!!

Excellent food, ambience, and service. It’s a tad off the beaten path but that is one of the favorable aspects I enjoy about its ambience! Highly recommended! A 5 star + eatery!

Yum. Have gluten free options and knowledgable about it… also allow concealed carry so 5 stars for that too. Food was tasty and lasted more than one meal.

Great salads! Would definitely go there again. Everyone in our group of 6 agreed the food was really good.

I don’t understand what some of these people are talking about … my family eats at McGregor Grill at least twice a week… the food is out of this world and the servers are AWESOME!!! When I come in Jason has my drink headed my way before I sit down at the table… they go out of their way to make you happy… its a great hangout and the management makes sure this place is clean I have seen these guys clean … its a great hangout… if anyone knew me they would know I don’t eat at places that are gross and dirty… come in give the place a shot its fabulous… ITS NOT FAST FOOD !!! You want fast food go to McDonald’s… If you tell or had told the server you were in a hurry or on lunch break they would have rushed it… foods great … crew Awesome

I am an old school chef myself so I do understand the service industry is demanding, but if you are an inhospitable tyrant maybe you should consider law enforcement instead of hospitality.
I went in for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy and only a bartender and the owner running the front of the house. The bartender was good. Every step planned, and he did not stop for a second.
I ordered the Angus burger, something the menu says they grind in house from prime rib and sirloin. The meat had some age to it. If it was ground in house it was a few days ago. It was not spoiled but it was close.
I ate It but have not been back, partly because what I expected to be an exceptional burger was just barely passable.
The primary reason that this was my only visit was the way the scumbag owner treats his help.
Somebody screwed up a check and the way that asshole tore into the only person willing to put up with his crap was disgusting. Some of the vilest profanity I have ever heard in a public place.
I am shocked he has not been sued, shot, or at least beaten within an inch of his life.
Simply a despicable excuse for a human being.

Environment is really nice, they play really amazing music and they have the music videos on the TV which is cool. The staff is pretty friendly, not the best service but it was satisfying. The real thing that stands out is the food, it’s really good. Only major complaint would really be staff but I wouldn’t call it the worst staff, they didn’t leave us waiting for too long.

I visited this place for lunch a few weeks back, but hadn’t had a chance to do a review…
I came here for a late lunch one afternoon around 4 and I was a little ifty on the outside appearances, but I was very impressed on the inside. We walked in and was greeted right away by gentlemen bartender. He advised us we could seat where ever we like and asked us what we would like to drink. After taking and bringing us our beers back he told us some lady would be over. After several minutes later a lady walked by with a handful of dishes asking us if we were ready to order. My thought was «Yes but please go put away your dirty dishes instead of standing at our clean table to take our order, but apparently not everyone thinks that way I see. So she proceeds to take all three of our orders and not to mention answering all of our questions and concerns (she didn’t seem to pleased). She was very unpleasant and bothered (explains why we never seen her again) with us. I take it her hands got tired, but hell no one told you stop with a stack full of dirty dishes in your hand. Just my thought!
So after 45 ridiculous minutes of waiting for our food a new server brought it out. We only ordered a burger, chicken fingers and calamari. My guest wasn’t eveb able to completely enjoy their meal because their lunch break was over and had to leave minutes later. Crazy part is there was literally no one in the restaurant when we sat down to order.
Once the food came it was very delicious and favorable but definitely not worth the wait I will say that.
I wasn’t sure who I was tipping by the end of my meal, because I had three different people wait on me. Although the first and third guys were great! So thank you gentlemen, now if you could get the kitchen to get on board I may return.

Had a bad experience last night. We went to the Grill with a large group and it was like we were tottaly ignored. We waited an hour to get seated while others were seated ahead of us. Then it took over an hour and a half for our food to start arriving. Others around us who had came in latter were served ahead of us. Had difficulty getting drinks and service. We complained and were told we were a large group and should have split up… its a wonder we stayed as several wanted to leave… pity as we have reccomened thus place to others and our group last night. …

This place has been a favorite of mine for many years now. The steak tips with asparagus are the best thing on the menu. Don’t listen to people crying about the service here. If you aren’t an asshole you won’t get treated like one in this place. Best food for the price in town, hands down.

We sat at the bar, it wasn’t busy but was loud. Ordered a beer but never got it, so left. We hadn’t tried it in months but it was the same cruddy service we had received before. No way was I going to deal with that AGAIN! GOODBYE!!!#

Been here several times for business lunches.
Never missed yet. food is prepared as ordered on time and friendly wait staff.
Would recommend to any one to try.

Good restaurant that is owner-​operated, which means a lot. Michael is always there and sees to every detail, but keeps it real. Usually the difference between a dependable, consistent experience when you have someone who cares on premises.
Menu is plenty big with excellent burgers, grouper quesadillas, sandwiches and many good sides. Specials and full dinners makes it a good choice for any group or just a few folks, something for everyone.
I agree, drinks are made well and there are a few good drafts, too. TVs have sports, trivia and news but its not too loud. You can pop outside for a smoke, sit outside and dine al fresco or bring the pup to enjoy the porch culture.
Late serving hours and easy parking make this place a winner especially for local residents. Keep up the good work and we’ll see you next week.
