Publix Super Markets

Publix just does things right! I go to Publix regularly, the staff is always helpful with a smile on their face. The store is clean, well stocked, and organized so you can do your grocery shopping efficiently. I’ve gone to others, including Wal Mart. But Publix is a step above. And I don’t think it costs any more than others.

Love love love this publix! Everybody is always so friendly. From the fresh produce to the steaks cut to order everything is always spectacular. Currently love the deli guy, believe his name is Matt. He is always so nice and attentive. Then we met Amanda. She was in charge of making the sandwiches the day I came in at 8:30. We were Clearly unwanted. Amanda was beyond rude. We go to select our bread and there is only a whole white sub and a multigrain half. I go first and order the whole sub, it was whatever. Then Katie went to order and Amanda says «all we have is the multigrain» obviously not wanting to make another sandwich. After Katie says yes, Amanda has the nerve to say SEEDS AND ALL?! like what?! Then continues to yell at another guest to take his hands off the glass or he will have to whip it. Not okay. Thankfully I have never seen her again. Other then that incident, all is well!

The employees are always very courteous and helpful. After we moved I drove out of my way to keep on going here.
One time as we were checking out my son got his finger pinched in one of the carts. Immediately they shut down the line behind me, checked out, my groceries and got him ice for his finger. When we moved the manager saved a bunch of boxes for us. I’ve always found Publix stores to be great but this location is exceptional. It’s clean and well-​organized but it is their phenomenal customer service that keeps me coming back.

It is like all other Publix when it comes to cleanliness and friendly service.
However there are a few things that sets this Publix location apart —
1. it has the Event Planning department. They offer a variety of services from food delivery, grocery shopping, deli orders and custom cake orders.
2. It also has a great hot food bar and deli with plenty of seating for eating.
3. It has a HUGE wine selection aisle.

Absolutely LOVE this Publix. Staff is always friendly and upbeat. The store is always clean and well organized. Great deals and never a hassle with my coupons. Definitely my favorite supermarket in the area. :-)

Publix has a great variety of fresh food at low prices. Most importantly, I have never been to a Publix where a single employee is not cheerful, friendly, and helpful. They have the best employees. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else.

So I stopped in here, yesterday– just to pick up a couple things. I needed Greek Yogurt, so I went to the dairy case– expecting to pick up Chobani or Oikos, but I noticed that Publix now also stocks Greek Style Yogurt under their own brand name. There looked to be about 10 varieties– all packaged in the side-​by-​side model (plain yogurt plus some fruit/​honey, etc in a compartment next to it.) I bought some, brought it home.. This is GREAT!
Oh, and at 10 for $ 8, it was 40¢ per serving less than every other brand! Great place to shop for everything!

I think there’s a Publix on at least every other corner in Fort Myers. There seemed to be about 20 locations in the area.
I stopped here because it was the closest to Sanibel. It quickly become my favorite location. The store was clean and the staff was super friendly. Even the customers were happy shopping there.
Their bakery department could not be beat. I ended up buying two key lime pies while we were down here, they were so good.

Clean, prices a little higher than some markets. I like this store though and plan to come back. I don’t always feel like shopping at a Super W Mart or Super Target. I want something better that can provide a higher quality in food selections. The meats are outstanding and the prices for meat are actually reasonable.

What’s not to like about Publix? Clean, friendly, reasonable prices, good sushi and amazing subs. Rock.

I love Publix. I actually look forward to coming to Fl so I can shop here, weird I know to get so excited over a grocery store. This one in my opinion is one of the best. Maybe I like it so much cause I worked here when I was 15, my first job. Deli and bakery are amazing. My first trip in I picked up a sub and a tiramisu. So freaking good. It is expensive but I think that is more of a Florida problem than a Publix problem. Also if u visit this location you have to get a hug from George. He’s been there ever since I worked there. Can’t miss him, he the 6’7 black guy who’s always so happy! Every grocery store needs a «George»!

Best cake department in town!

I’ve been going to this Publix for years now, and generally have been satisfied. However, I would not recommend their pharmacy. Most recently, I filled a prescription with a manufacturer’s coupon that stated a maximum price I would have to pay. When I went to pick up the prescription, I was quoted a price $ 15 higher than what the manufacturer advertised. When I asked why there was a difference, I was told there was probably some fine print that disclaimed a maximum discount that could be applied. When I asked to see the coupon I had given them, I was told that they had lost it and I would have to pay the full price for the medication. Shady.

I found my shopping experiences here friendly and courteous, well done Publix.

I’ve been in quite a few Publix grocery stores, and I must say this is a very nice one. It is huge & clean and a rather fun place to shop.
It has a very large selection of everything, of course, but some prices are a bit high. As with most Publix’s, the bakery is excellent.
