I stopped for a 1 night stay. I arrived early around 1, and the manager was kind about it apologizing the room I reserved wasn’t ready yet(which I anticipated) but within ten minutes he found me in the lobby and told me it was ready. The lobby is very nicely updated with lots of what I consider new age looking things, bright colors, lcd fire places and the such. However as I went to get to the second floor through the elevator I was confronted with an open lift more like you would find in a home rather then a hotel. I opted for the stairs. Walking through the halls it became apperently clear the reno of the place was not complete. Door numbers were written in pencil or the the plaques were taped to the doors. The place hadn’t been finished painted so large areas were left in white and red. Holes in the ceiling(obviously access points to wires) exposed the wired and such. The stairwell was being used as a storage space for building matierials. That being said I never hear any construction noises. I was a little dubious walking into the room after seeing the halls but was very impressed. The floors were what I might refer to as a wood title. The room was poorly lit, but in no way uncomfortable. The bed was typical of a hotel, rather hard but not the worst I have been on. On the down side the internet was shaky, and not meant for more then checking email. And parking was a nightmare. I stayed a saterday to sunday, so maybe that was the problem, but it appeared they shared a lot with the travellodge next door. Ultimately it was a lovely stay.

The updates to the rooms are very nice. Beds are very comfortable. The only thing holding this hotel back is the non-existent WiFi. Watching a movie or a ballgame on your tablet is almost impossible. My data plan is more efficient. The front desk seems unwilling to update the system. I have stayed here for business many times, the WiFi never gets any better.

The Update has proved this to be a top notch property off of I75. The only thing holding this place back is the fact that properties like the LaQuinta and Best Western nearby are far more preferred by guests. Nothing special about the outside but walking in is a surprise.

BUGSBUGSBUGS!!! If I could give this place no stars I would! Staff was rude. The first room they gave us smelt like smoke, they gave us a different room only for us to wake up with roaches in our bed GROSS!!! Don’t waste your time or money! The lobby is renovated and looks very nice, but the rooms are nasty and old!

This hotel is OK for a quick stay. Very clean throughout compared to others in the area. Nicely decorated but nothing to brag about. The room was better than expected and quiet except for a few things. The bathroom door had a missing towel hook. The shower wall had a hole and someone patched it up with blue painter’s tape. How cool is that? The staff and the hotel pool were my reasons for knocking down a star. The dude at the front desk was rude and no help at all. He would leave the front desk to smoke outside knowing people were there waiting to be helped. Not only that. He seemed to be bothered by any questions i asked. Checking in earlier as requested a month ahead became an issue with him. He would not move a finger to try and help the situation at all. The pool area was closed. I don’t know for how long as I stayed for two nights only. Come on, it’s mid April and at a scorching 95 degrees. This pool should have been cleaned and available for the guests.
