Had something to east and drink there during Art Fest Ft Myers 2016. Food was ok but the wine was overly priced at $ 13.00 a glass. My mom and I each had a glass of Rose and I was shocked when the bill came. Very disappointed about the price definitely not worth it.

We stopped in for lunch during the art fair. They had an abbreviated menu but told us right away. Had the burger and it was awesome. Definitely will go back

Beautiful restaurant located in downtown Fort Myers. We were looking for a place to enjoy lunch, not brunch on a Sunday afternoon and luckily they were serving both. We dined at the bar and enjoyed a bottle of wine. Although they were out of the first one we ordered and after asking the bartender for another suggestion, it was evident that he didn’t know anything about wine. That threw me off a little because, well, he is the bartender at a restaurant that is decorated with bottles upon bottles of wine. Moving on. The lunch menu they offered was limited, assuming because the Art Fest was taking place, but there was a good variety to choose from. I started with the Caesar salad and ordered the boulevard, basically a Reuben and my boyfriend ordered the fromage burger topped with pepper jack. My salad was delicious. Very light and fresh. My sandwich was not so good. I did ordered the dressing on the side because I often worry that too much is used, the sandwich came out correctly, however there was hardly anything on it. The pastrami was very dry with little flavor, maybe I should have left the dressing on it. However my boyfriends burger was delicious! Great flavor and cooked perfectly. Their fries are addicting. Super crunchy and flavorful and served with homemade ketchup. Overall our service was just okay… I expected a little more given the style of restaurant and location but maybe that’s just me. I would definitely give this place another try, maybe for dinner with their full menu and try sitting in the dining room, not the bar.

Really disappointing dinner. First time there. Saturday night. Cool looking place. Pleasant jazz. After that– downhill. Waiter awkward– came many times at beginning before we had chance to know what we wanted to drink and eat. Then when we needed him, he disappeared. None of that mattered if food was good. It wasn’t. All of our salads were boring– not sure if they put on any dressing. The snapper had no taste. Served over a few grains of rice. Cheesecake and coffee were fine. Not sure I would return.

Went there for our anniversary and was an absolute gem of a find. Great wine list, cheese platter was awesome, service was amazing. Highly recommend. The flavors dance on your tongue. I had the filet and my wife had the scallops. Can not go wrong with either one. The wine list was extensive. Silver oak cake bread other great high end wines.

Great cherry pomegranate martini. The calamari was not good. Very small portion mostly tentacles. I was surprised to find that it had onions. I’ve never been served calamari with onions, so it caught me off guard. I don’t like raw onions and would have changed my order or asked to have them omitted. Disappointed, they use to have the best calamari in town.

Loved it. Ambiance food service and wine selection all good. The restaurant building is beautiful. French doors abound, seemed sort of sparkly. Background music was jazzy which I love. I had mayo I think with bok choy. Veggies tender crisp. Had this great glass of wine.

Meh. Food is just ok. Service is terrible. Even on a weekday for lunch when there are only 2 other tables. I’ve given 2 try’s and do not intend on going back. Disappointing because I love wine and the menu LOOKS great. Maybe someday…

I have to say I was very disappointed! We had reservations for 4 people at 6:00. The first thing we were asked was if we were going to the theater. We should have said yes! We where seated and ignored. The tables around us filled up quickly, orders taken, meals served and we were still waiting for our apps. Our waitress kept telling us it would be right out. It was only soup! When our meals came, they where cold! Yes, we did politely send them back. When the meals came back a second time, they were still cold but the plates were hot! Like I said, our reservations were for 6, our food was served after 7:30! Cold! I felt that since we weren’t going to the theater, we were pushed to the side! For the amount of money we spent, it was a huge disappointment!

Here is my 2 cents on the food and some chit chat. The food was fabulous. I was there for a Sunday brunch. A breakfast menu and lunch menu is available. I had the Bistro brunch. 3 eggs, yukon taters, muffin, and canadian bacon(ham) It was cooked to my instructions and hot when delivered. My server(Kevin I believe) was excellent. Very attentive. I must say the ambiance was superb. I am more for the food than the surroundings. But here was a jackpot. Elegant. So I would definitely return.

We had dinner there last night for my daughter’s birthday. We had made reservations a couple nights before by walking over there and talking to the hostess. We asked if they do anything special for birthdays and the hostess and another young lady smiled and said something upbeat that lead us to believe they did. We even thought she made a note of it. Anyway when I asked our waitress last night about that since my daughter was looking forward to something special on the part of the restaurant because it was her 21st birthday, the waitress was very deadpan and snarky about it. «Well we really don’t do anything except maybe pass around a card and the employees sign it. Happy birthday anyway …» Our daughter really did get that generic card from a bunch of strangers. Really? Don’t bother Our daughter liked her scallops. My Mohito was very good. I had the pike. It was fine okay and so was my husband’s chicken. Obviously not a good place to celebrate a birthday if your birthday person wants it to be special.

Our server was attentive. That was the highlight. Everything good on the wine list they were out of. The tuna tartare had the consistency of 3 day old sushi — mealy. The pork belly and tile fish were both overcooked and dry. The beet salad and scallops were ok. Definitely expected better for the price.

Don’t go. Rude servers. Bad food. Expensive. The servers tack on ALL kinds of up-charges and surcharges. Beware.

My husband and I splurged on a lovely lunch at the Twisted Vine Bistro to celebrate the offer we put on a house. It was a fabulous lunch and we plan to go back for a date night to experience the ambiance of the restaurant at night. The center bar is beautiful and the dining room is set up great. We had a table by the window so enjoyed people watching as we waited for our meal. *For starters, I got a free glass of wine for checking in on Unilocal! Here is what we ordered: — lobster mac and cheese appetizer: Amazing! creamy, lots of lobster chunks and perfectly cheesy. I loved the spiral shells. –BLT with brie and smoked salmon. What a unique combination. And it was served on 9 grain toast. I only wish it came with sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. –TVB wrap– chicken salad with rasberry preserves in a wheat wrap. nice and light It was a wonderful meal. Thought it was a bit pricey it was worth every penny! We can’t wait to go back and try the dinner. Great location in the River District downtown.

Rolled up with my boos Jeff and Matt yesterday to get some grub on their fancy looking patio. «Oh, it’s closed seasonally.» You should let people know that, somehow. Considering it’s how we picked the restaurant, we were already a little disappointed going in. Started out with some wine and truffle fries. The fries were just fine, but the pours were quite small. And my $ 13/glass sauv blanc tasted like the bottle had been open a while. Jeff ordered snapper, Matt got chicken, and I ordered scallops. The scallops smelled distinctly of ammonia. I ate one anyway, and the taste was the same. Yeesh. Matt wafted his hand over my plate toward his nose and said he could definitely smell it. The replaced the dish with the grouper, which came with roasted fennel and undercooked red rice. It was just ok, and though my scallops were comped and my meal replaced, it didn’t really salvage the evening. And for the record, when one your diners makes a joke, you should laugh.

I’ll start this off by saying I’m really spoiled by great food living in Charleston. So maybe take what I say with a grain of salt. Overall the food was tasty. I got the twisted caprese salad and the tuna tar tar as my meal. We ordered the spinach-Brie-bacon risotto(typically comes with the duck breast entrée but you can get as a side) and brussels sprouts for appetizers, and my husband got the honey roasted grouper. Two food-related things were less than desirable: the brussels sprouts were soggy and nearly flavorless, and my avocado with my tuna tar tar was almost 100% brown. This could be due to it sitting out for a long time which brings me to the other less-than-desirable thing: super slow service. I think we were there for about 2.5 hours and had ordered our food within the first 30 min. We had good conversation so no problem, but all sat with empty drinks for way too long. Speaking of drinks: goose island Sofie on draft. Major points for that! All in all, it’s not a bad place but it’s overpriced for sure, and there’s room for improvement. I would probably not choose to come back before trying some other spots in town.

Divine seared scallops with black pearl rice, broccolini and extra beurre blanc sauce. Not much else to say, just perfection!
