My son absolutely loves this place, the staff is great very friendly and eager to answer questions. The exhibits are fun interactive and well kept and there is a touch tank! It’s a small place but there is plenty to see.

We had the best time visiting this aquarium! It’s a total different aquarium experience than your usual. The staff actually gets you involved and gives you lots of information. My son had the best time. Loved the staff!

We loved this aquarium. It’s small but the displays are very good. Lots of great interactive things for kids. We live very near the Monterey Bay Aquarium which is worl class but I have to be honest in saying that the Smithsonian Marine Station had a tank that rivaled even the best in Monterey. The staff was exceptional with the exception of the guy who manned the «touch tank». He was knowledgeable, just not very friendly which was a disappointment given we were traveling with children and they would have really benefitted by some enthusiasm from him. Still, he may have been having an off day… we all have them. I would definately recommend this little aquarium.
