Wild Ginger Hibachi

Good place for a quick Japanese stir fry.
I had the Pork gyoza & they were cooked perfectly & were delicious. They came with the normal ponzu dipping sauce.
I also ordered the grilled steak & chicken stir fry & forfeited the stir fry veggies for additional fried rice. It was super fast. The dishes are prepared in front of you.

We were looking for something quick, but healthy when we found this place on our last visit to Ft. Walton. Really fresh tasting hibachi, very friendly service and reasonable prices. We have had both the chicken and steak and enjoyed them both. We will be back.

We finally had the chance to try this place out yesterday. My boyfriend had the chicken and shrimp with fried rice and I had the teriyaki chicken with fried rice. We also ordered shrimp tempura and miso soup.
Please forgive me/​keep in mind that my palette maybe a little bias when it comes to Japanese food… simply because I lived in Japan for 3 years. The miso soup was different from traditional miso, yet I still enjoyed it. The shrimp tempura was overly breaded, but I really enjoyed the light flavor of the dipping sauce that came with it. [For those who try their best not to be messy eaters, the sauce is a little runny, which makes it drip… alot.]
Overall, I really enjoyed the food here and it is definitely a healthier option versus fast food. I love the fact that the sauces/​flavors are not overbearing, which allows you to enjoy all the flavors even when they are mixed, dipped, or sauces are added.
Atmosphere: clean and modern.
With all that said, I’ll definitely be coming back. Enjoy and happy eating. NOM NOM NOM!

Not even close to Japanese food. The yaki udon had a sweet sauce that was horrible and the miso soup was extremely salty. The steak was well cooked but not seasoned well. If you want Japanese food; seek another establishment.

Best food and service in Fort Walton hands down … owner is amazing my son’s girlfriend he calls her … keep up the good work great prices and amazing food

To be honest if you want your monies worth do not come here! Very expensive and the food is very tasteless. Said but its true.

Y’all. This place was so good. I am in town for work on the week of spring break, so I wanted to find something quick, good, and lacking the crowd. I decided to try Wild Ginger, and #noregrets. It took maybe 5 minutes to cook the food, and everything tasted great. I wish I lived here just so I could go back.

Fresh food, flavorful tasty well prepared. Miso soup nice flavor, not like others stinky feet smell. Sampler and sauce a good starter. This is a definite return to place! Ginger tea great. Keeps the flavors together!

I finally went to eat here after seeing if when I went to Books a Million a few times. The inside was small, but clean and there were only two other customers there at the time (late Monday afternoon). The server who took my order was incredibly friendly and pleasant. The customer service itself was 5 star. I don’t know his name, but I enjoyed the service I received from him. The food came pretty quick and was really tasty, for just over $ 10.00, it was worth the price. The workers made sure to take the time to come to my table and the other two customers and ask how everything was and if they needed anything else. I would and do plan to go eat at Wild Ginger again.

A very relaxing comfortable, family friendly environment. Food was fresh, hot and served very quickly.
Its not a «authentic hibachi» table service, but you can watch the chef cook at the grill behind the window still. Much better price for the same food.
The chicken and shrimp was delicious, especially with the fried rice. But there are so many options and combinations.
Will definitely be going back.

We decided to walk to the shopping plaza next door to try a new restaurant for dinner. We decided to try Wild Ginger Hibachi​. Let me tell you, we had an amazing dinner. Lou helped us out, and showed us how things work there. We ordered our food, paid (and tipped), and then sat down. He brought us our apps and then dinner with a smile. His attitude was superb! We also ordered these beautiful balls of doughy deliciousness, otherwise known as Fried Doughnuts for desert. Needless to say I am so glad we tipped him as much as we did, he was excellent. The food was as good as the service. The place was nice and clean too. This will definitely be a regular spot for us!

Impeccable service! They also have a military discount! I just sat down and the man was so nice to us. The place is very clean and well kept! Not nearly what I would have expected at a strip mall location. This is hibachi food without the ridiculous hibachi prices for sure! The employee referred to it as a «fastaraunt» so quality food-​fast! I am very excited about this place! The food was pretty damn delicious! I will be back and have been telling all my friends and colleagues about this establishment! Must try!

I go there for lunch often, shrimp and chicken hibachi is my favorite plate, the soup and the salad is delicious as well, the place is always clean and fresh and the customer service is definitely 5 stars.

Excellent food; hibachi steak and chicken with fried rice and steak with noodles, portion size was large enough but not gut busting. This is not your typical Asian fare it is lighter less greasy than traditional Asian cuisine. The service was friendly and excellent; we will be back to try more of their dishes.

I had the hibachi shrimp with rice and vegtables. It was very good !

Quick service with a smile. Food was okay for me but my sisters was amazing. Love the ginger tea. Would go back again and hopefully next time their miso soup is a little bit better :/​other than that the atmosphere was great and I liked the staff.

This is our favorite spot. the food is amazing the owner is amazing and the price can’t be beat by anyone I’m this town … makes Okinawa look like taco bell… keep up the good work wild ginger

This was my first time eating at this establishment. I must say I was very impressed. First, off it was super clean and I came around 7pm on a Sat. Second, the staff were very friendly happy people. And last but not least the food was SOOOO! SOOOO GOOD! IM COMING BACK FOR MORE!

Great food at a great price. No need to pay for the hibachi table experience when all you really want is the food.
The fried rice just has some eggs and thats about it, but still yummy. You can either get the fried rice, white rice, brown rice, or noodles with your meal.
Staff is super friendly. Def a place we have added to our list in FWB.
