I wouldn’t really call these«luxury» apartments, although it was decent for getting it last minute! My husband is in the military so we get tossed around a lot and we moved to Fort Walton Beach, last minute. We searched everywhere and found these, checked them out and they were alright, plus we were desperate for a place! The year we stayed here, our apartment had three people attempt to break in! My husband informed one of the managers and she kind of just laughed it off and then brought up how someone’s car got broken into a few days before?! Really?!? These apartments are right behind a little outlet and every morning there is a truck which seems like he’s backing up(reversing) for days! There is always a bunch of random people walking through there too, which is kind of sketchy, especially at night! Oh be sure to tell them SIXTY(60) days that you’re leaving before your lease is up! I argued with the lady about that and she gave me a huge attitude. They’re your best friend the entire time you’re there, but then when you’re ready to leave, it’s a whole different story! The apartment was so dirty when we moved in, we hadn’t really looked when we were checking it out before, so make sure to do that! The manager made sure to tell us that the place had to be spotless before we got our deposit back. Surprisingly enough, we got ours back,. I cleaned that place better than when we got it! Richard the maintenance guy, awhhh(sweetest guy ever). He always waved and said hi and asked how we were and if the apartment was okay. If we ever had a problem, he would be there that day or the next to fix it. I’m sure this place is hit or miss sometimes, depending on the mood of the staff and the apartment you end up in.
