This complaint is for Century link as a company. The entire company is a total failure. The after hours tech support does not exist. When I tried there NEVER was anyone available. Finally after the worse service possible, I closed my account and returned my modem. Six weeks later I get a refund check for the remaining balance. Two months after that, I then get a bill for the modem! They had received it three months ago and refunded my balance. Now they tell me that was not the case long after I threw away the RMA receipt since the account was fully closed. If these idiots don’t eliminate this bill from their own mistake I will be taking them to court! This company should be out of business! Absolutely horrific service and incompetent people!

CenturyLink is terrible. I dropped them after only one week I ordered a modem from them and had it expedited, at least that’s what the rep told me over the phone. He also tried to hustle me into buying a $ 100 modem, and after I brought up the fact they lease them, he started getting an attitude with me. Then he said he couldn’t find my account when searching my name, phone, or address, and needed my full SSN… very sketchy. 5 days later no modem, so I called and found out the didn’t even have a record of me ordering a modem. I would have to wait a week before it would get to my house! That was my breaking point.
