Yes, ah, I remember now I did go here and bought some groceries. I checked it out not to expect that there will something new. As always, it’s a regular small grocery selling Filipino food goods.

This place is small and quite hard to find. But the owner is very friendly. I usually use this place to send a balikbayan box to the Philippines. Her rate is flat which is $ 70. You pay $ 5 for the box then $ 65 when you drop yhe box off. Pick up service is also available with $ 10 additional. The cargo company was great. They keep you informed if the shipment is delayed due to any circumstances. Took 2 months for my box to get to visayas which is typical turn around for balikbayan box. Would definitely use her again for my next shipment ;)

Celino’s is tucked away in a forgotten strip mall that more resembles an industrial park than a shopping area. It’s along the Livingston Road Filipino shopping corridor, if you are heading south on Livingston just turn right at the 7-Eleven right before you get to Oxon Hill Road and Celino’s will be on the left. The store is very small, it reminds me of Danny’s Tindahan in DC. Just a couple of aisles stocked to capacity and a few non-grocery gift items as well. This place must have a core of loyal customers because it seems to me it wouldn’t be able to compete with C&C International which is just a couple of blocks away.(Photo Uploaded…)
