Really rude service and the duck was full of tiny bones that we couldn’t pick out due to how small they were.

Another one bites the dust. House of Chang has been around since the beginning of time in ft. Washington. I will miss my neighborhood hole in the wall.

This place is a joke. I remember as a kid it was just another chinese restaurant… now its a lounge or club… oh hell naw! Only thing good about this spot if the chicken wings… otherwise, dont mess with this place.

I found it to be a very nice, and comfortable spot, however when you first walk in its a bit uncomfortable(maybe bcuz Im a tad bit shy), And Everyone is staring at you, but once you sit down you realize the person across from you and next to you is feeling the alchohol, very tipsy and probably seen 4 of you comin thru the door LOL so I quickly relaxed bcuz drunk people dont judge. I ordered 1 drink and then I understood why everyone was so tipsy in here… The drinks are strong, and I love it bcuz I feel like i’m getting my money’s worth LOL I wouldnt go all the time but it’s nice for every now and then.

Where did this place come from? It is so different. Yet just like some long torn-down bar from my past. Remember the old RSVP down in SW adjacent to Waterside Mall? That’s what this place reminds me of. That bluish-green indoor-outdoor carpet. Those nautical-knobby tall bar stools. Those neon lights. Wow. Wow. What a way to get transported back in time. There are some modern touches which include pool tables, video poker, and flat screen TVs. And they have Karaōke in the backroom. I served as a backup Karaōke singer on more than a few songs. This was probably brought on by the copious consumption of cocktails. The«gentlemen» here were not stingy with the cocktails(yet laughed when I referred to them as cocktails).(Whatever.)(And thank you very much.) Oh, by the way, Fellas, there is no dress code here. So if you have a throwback jersey and some timbs, feel free to wear ‘em, along with your baseball cap(indoors) over your dreads(or braids) and your jeans hanging down off your butt. Nice! Also brought on by the copious cocktail consumption was the desire for more food. Like Kiesha B., I had the wings and fries. And they were well done. Thank goodness! I just love it when those juices run clear. The fries left a little bit to be desired. They were like crinkle cut from the grocery store and under fried. But whatever. When it’s one o’clock in the morning, you’re just happy the kitchen is still open, right? Heyyyyyy pluses and minuses aside, I had a great time and I would definitely return. I will just make sure I can swap out the work suit for more(ahem) trendy/sassy gear. I’m a fan!
