Cable and Internet are ok and the customer service is the worst I’ve ever had to deal with.

I don’t know why people have such bad things to say about Comcast. I’ve been a Comcast customer for over 10 years and I think they’re great to work with. Their customer service whether in-person or over the phone has always been good. I have no complaints whatsoever about the customer service provided. I particularly appreciate that most of their tech support is local, so you’re not calling someone in another country and dealing with a language barrier. Now as far as their services are concerned, I have Internet through Comcast but I no longer have cable TV. For Internet Comcast is the best value around with super fast speeds, decent monthly rates, and good technical support when you need it. But as far as cable TV is concerned I think Dish is a better option. Comcast On Demand never worked in my house or when it did occasionally work I wasn’t very impressed. We dropped them for Dish and have been much happier with our TV service. My one issue with Comcast in general are their prices. I’ve had to constantly fight with them every 6 months to a year to get a better price. Their promotional rates are great but then when it switches to full price it’s kind of ridiculous. So I have to call them every so often and negotiate a better rate. It’s not a big deal but its kind of a hassle and the games you have to play to get a competitive rate gets old.
