Courtyard Marriott Downtown

Amazing staff! The checkin desk is so extremely nice and they go out of their way to accommodate your personal & business needs! Very impressed with this place! Thanks Brandon & Adrian you guys rock!

A bit disappointed by this hotel. The only highlight of the hotel is the updated shower. Shower was fabulous. Although, the design of the room doesn’t make any sense. Hard to face the tv to face the bed. Bed was not very comfortable to sleep in. courtyard should contact The Hilton hotel and ask Hilton where they got their beds and inquire about the design.
Basically, the only great thing about our stay was the shower. Hilton on the other hand has very outdated showers. The front desk staff are very friendly. Also, for the management, we stayed 2 nights. And the two days, the bathroom floor was not cleaned. I came back to the same hair I saw on the floor when I left for the evening.
Only towels were changed and the bed made up. When towels were changed in the morning of our second day, that was the last time we got clean towels. NOT GOOD. We got to the room super late and basically in the morning, on the day of check out, we didn’t have a clean towel. We were in the rush, I didn’t have a chance to call.
If you are charging more than the Hilton, then the management should make sure that their service is up to par or better! Period.
We stayed on the 5^th floor, room 511. The room faced the front of the building. I liked the view. One last thing is the outlets were not functioning properly!!! 2 outlets worked out of 4. And the outlet on the wall, could not hold the charger, the charger kept falling out! I have never seen that before. Probably good idea to look into that and fix it.
The location of this hotel is definitely very good. It is close to everything. You are in the middle of it all.

For a period of time I was traveling very often to Fort Wayne for work and would always stay at the Downtown Courtyard Marriott. NOT to be confused with the other Courtyard on the other side of town which is not nearly as nice (I would know, I booked it by accident once!)
This Courtyard was always clean and was of very good quality. This particular franchise is obviously fairly new and is well-​cared for. I never had a single complaint about cleanliness or anything like that in the many times I stayed.
I cannot say enough about the staff who were always friendly, cheerful, and helpful. When you travel for work and hotels are your «home away from home,» it is always refreshing to deal with competent staff who truly want to help you out. Thanks for your hospitality!
The breakfast bar is standard to most Courtyards, with the usual sandwich and a la carte offerings, as well as Starbucks coffee (awesome.) Champions Sports Bar is the restaurant option at this Marriott, and it’s alright but the pub fare is generally heavy/​not all that healthy and does get old quickly. But the service was always good and if you want a burger, some fries, etc., look no further than the hotel lobby restaurant!
Things to note: you have to pay for parking ($ 7 a day in an attached garage), the Parkview baseball field is right next to the hotel so if your room faces the field and they are setting off fireworks or something, you may get some noise. It never bothered me, but I am not an early-​to-​bed person either. I really enjoy the Paul Mitchell hair products that Courtyard franchises now provide. The WiFi is free — also a great feature of Courtyard.
If I ever find myself in Ft. Wayne again, I know where I will stay.

Actually the entire team at the Courtyard was fantastic from the front desk, to housekeeping, to our reception serving team, to Lil the banquet manager, to our bartenders! Very classy operation. The hotel rooms are super clean and up-​to-​date. The hotel front desk staff is the reason why I am putting 5 stars on here. They went above and beyond during my stay and I was staying on my hotel rewards points! I will absolutely be staying here in the future. Two slightly negative things worth noting — the beds had squeaky springs and they were ok, but not the most comfortable ever which was surprising since everything else in the room was fantastic. Also, there is no complimentary breakfast, but I think they’ve done away with that at most Marriott hotels. They do have a very clean and large area to order some breakfast though. The outstanding service more than makes up for any minor issues.

Overall a pleasant experience. The staff, especially Anna at the front desk, were kind and very helpful. Easy parking for $ 7 extra was worth it. Very nice and spacious lobby, room was large with a view of the ball park, and beds were comfortable.
My recommendation is to have everything already set in the room to have a guest feel welcomed and valued. For some reason there were no toiletries such as soap, etc in the room, nor was there a bench or stool in the shower area to use even though the room was set for ADA. A few extra towels without asking would be helpful as well. When requesting the missing items the staff was very attentive and quick to respond including brining a chair for the shower.
Highly recommended.

Won a contest for Valentines Day and stayed here. Very modern hotel with great rooms and décor! We were tired from driving to get to Ft Wayne and all of the restaurants had 3+ hours of wait for the holiday, so we were so relieved to find out that Champions was attached to the hotel! Great drinks and amazing food! Service was super fast and I loved the huge booths!
Staff at the hotel was young and energetic and VERY helpful!
If I ever have to stay overnight in Ft Wayne again, I will be begging my husband to let us stay here again!
I used to travel a lot for work and this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in! It’s just my style! I kept pointing out things that I wanted to decorate our home with!
Plus it is in the best location! Close to everything!!!

We won a drawing for a Visit Fort Wayne package. Otherwise, our Hilton HHonors points keeps us from trying other chains. We found the contemporary accommodations to be nice. The pool was small, but clean and vacant. The assess to Parkview Field is well done. I hope we’ll manage a return when the Tincaps have a home game. The downsides are the bed comfort, flat pillows and lumpy springs, and the lack of a bathtub. We’ll have to request a tub for bathing our kids if we come back, I think. Too bad a spring snowstorm (6−10″ and 30−50mph winds?) is chasing us home a day early.

Young staff usually on hand, responsible though. Champs is a cool hangout, not the greatest food but the eye candy will hold you over and make you not worry about it. Stand up glass showers are a nice fit to the rooms. The Convention center is right across the street, which is nice, Matchbox 20 and K Ci & JoJo were here a few nights ago. Champs gets quite a nice crowd for the concerts, which is a double edged sword. I have to be up and out by 5:20 and its loud as ever, doesn’t help my room faces the building. The YMCA is right down the street also, enjoyable as its going to get around here…
