Best coffee in Fort Wayne. Also now serving Chapman’s craft beer? Makes fortezza a must stop, anytime I’m downtown. Friendly staff and amazing latte art. The atmosphere is hip, but very chill. It’s a great place to stay and work, or just grab something on the go. There is also art by local Fort Wayne artists for sale. If you haven’t been here before, you need to stop by!

Ordered a cortado, cappuccino and raspberry muffin. Coffees were rich, strong and not bitter. Raspberry muffin was full of fresh berries and not too sweet. Great stop in downtown Fort Wayne.

I was in Fort Wayne this past weekend for a wedding and this coffee spot was recommended to me by a local resident. It did not disappoint! The place is so spacious inside and has great character. It was a mixture of people studying and conversing. I chose to sit outside as their was a small open table and the weather was beautiful. I ordered a regular iced coffee and the quiche special(spinach and goat cheese). The coffee had such a great, strong flavor. I did not even need to add any sugar or cream! It was very refreshing. The spinach and goat cheese quiche was delicious! It was accompanied by a small house salad and granola parfait. Both were the perfect addition to this healthy breakfast. I definitely recommend Fortezza coffee for anyone visiting the Fort Wayne area!

This place is fantastic and one of the best coffee shops I’ve found in the Great Lakes States. Here’s why: — Counter Culture coffee is the brand they carry. They have 5 – 6 different kinds to appeal to coffee lovers. If you are looking for a step up to Starbucks this is a must try. I enjoy fruity notes(cherry, orange, berry and etc) which they have here. — Chorizo sandwich is a far cry from a sandwich and waaaaay better. It brought me back 2 days in a row and is a must try! — nice atmosphere to dine or work. Lots of tables and good ambiance. I’ve been to coffee houses in Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Milwaukee and so many more. This was so good that I had to write a review. Enjoy!

I appreciate this place and have mad respect for it. This is the 2nd of two 3rd wave cafes to come to Fort Wayne. These guys have introduced a previously ignorant city to hand-made coffee. For me, I don’t love counter culture coffees. However, the espresso is pretty good and pastries and good is awesome. The atmosphere is really great as well. For sure best shop in Fort Wayne. Also, gotta love that they use local modbar.

I loooooveeee the atmosphere and the location fits downtown. I’ve been here a couple times already but haven’t had the chance to review the place. First off, pastries are amazing. I’m not a sweets person but everything here was made to my liking; not overwhelming sweet. Second, their matcha latte is yuum! Artwork on it with the coconut milk is beautiful. I also ordered their crème brûlée French toast with yogurt and granola and it was amazing. The only thing I didn’t really like was the yogurt. I guess it tasted too«raw» for me. If there was a little bit more granola with the yogurt it would have been perfect because the granola gives it some flavor and texture. My friend got the chorizo sandwich which I do recommend if you’re wanting something more savory for brunch/lunch rather than sweet. It’s a little bit more on the pricey side but pretty worth it.

I am usually a Firefly kind of girl whenever I come to town to visit. However, my sister in law convinced me to come to Fortezza because of their amazing coffee and addicting macarons. Boy, was I glad I listened to her! The macarons were indeed addicting(we ate an entire box) and the espresso was on point. I did dock a star because they are closed on Sunday… what kind of coffee place is closed on Sunday?!

Just go. It’s amazing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, everything I’ve eaten off their menu is mouth-wateringly delicious, and the drinks are perfect. My favorite is the matcha latte with coconut milk. The atmosphere is conducive to getting a coffee by yourself while you quietly read the paper, or meeting a large group to work on projects, or just hang out. They’re also quick when you need something on-the-go in a rush.

Quickie Review: Rather support local business? Look no further than Fortezza. For the few times I stopped in here for business meetings the people were always nice and the tea and pastries tasted great! A perfect atmosphere to get some work done. Fortezza is definitely a staple for Fort Wayne.

No time for s full review right now, but try this place. It’s we’ll run with a great menu, well done beverages, and fair prices. On top of that, it’s a really comfortable spot to hang out.

Fortezza has been around for a couple years now. It’s a great chill place that I come to do work at. It is a small place so space is limited depending on the times you come in. However, there are plenty of outlets if you need to charge. The coffee is great! They have a lot of different blends to choose from, so it caters to many tastes! Since it’s a local owned coffee shop the prices are a bit more than your regular Starbucks prices but you cannot compare the two! The staff is super friendly and can answer any questions you have! I haven’t had their food(which I’m pretty sure it’s just breakfast) but I’ve totally indulged on their macaroons many times! This is a great coffee shop for downtown Fort Wayne! Definitely recommend it.

It’s been awhile since I’ve spent time in downtown Fort Wayne, so I was very surprised and excited to find a coffee shop/roastery complete with sweets, ample seating and knowledgable staff. And! A spiffy logo(yes, this is always worth noting in my book). I had the pleasure of tipping back their pumpkin latte with a coconut milk substitute. Very delicious and the coconut milk added an extra dollop of flavor(and warmth?) to the cup. They also offer a free water dispenser for those who need some agua with the coffee. Last but not least, they also offer brunch items that look quite delicious(see Unilocal photos).

Best latte downtown. True espresso artisans combined with a minimalist approach to the café experience. This could easily become the go-to downtown – if it isn’t already!

Every beverage I had here was REALLY tasty, which is not always the case in any coffee shop.(I did the barista thing for a few years so I have a small amount of experience with this.) I remember having an iced Earl Grey tea and an iced chai, both of which were made with care and attention; the iced tea, for example, came out perfectly chilled, which does not often happen when you get freshly-brewed iced tea.(Usually, freshly-brewed tea comes out lukewarm and the ice is half melted already. Not here, nope.) The chai was a perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and spicy. I’ve had chai at many, many different shops, and this is one of the best I’ve ever had. The space was also clean and comfy and nice. It has a modern design that isn’t intimidating. It’s a great space for work or for a meeting.

Fortezza Coffee is just what downtown needed in the coffee scene. A great place to post up for the day and work on your laptop or hit up during your break at work for a latte. I recently enjoyed two of their seasonal fall drinks. The Pear and Allspice Cortada and the Salted Caramel Latte. Both were fantastic. I wish the pear flavor had came through more in the coffee but overall it did the trick and gave me a caffeine boost! Salted caramel latte was awesomely presented. It was served with a salted rim and a caramel cube on the side. Highly recommend. The baristas here are friendly and seem willing to mix up and concoction you want if they have the ingredients. I observed that know their regulars and their orders to a T. Well done! I have also enjoyed a brunch here with a friend a few weeks back. We stopped by on Labor Day weekend by accident and I am glad we did! I had the chorizo open faced breakfast sandwich served with sweet potato hash browns. WOW. This was an awesome breakfast. Great way to spend brunch and left me feeling better than eating something greasy. They have a back room which I believe can be rented out or reserved for meetings, parties, or what not. Lots of natural light and a few outdoor tables to enjoy your morning coffee with your pup!

This coffee shop is in downtown Fort Wayne so parking maybe is a little challenging unless you are already done there. The coffee was Fort Wayne average. However, the staff seemed really sweet, and the space was cool and spacious. If I lived in Fort Wayne, I would love the little meeting room they have to the back. You can close it, and it also had the calendar written on the door.

Probably my new favorite study spot in Fort Wayne! majorly thrilled to have finally gotten to check this place out– it’s been long time coming. Fortezza is the very picture of the beautifully designed minimalist/artsy coffee shop. Truly. I appreciate everything about the aesthetics of Fortezza– beautiful upcycled tables, a variety of seating options and rooms for every purpose from family eating to quiet studying– and the most intricate leaf designs I’ve seen on a latte in awhile. The staff is friendly, helpful and well educated. The paintings on the walls are primarily abstract and interesting– there aren’t any boring prints of Kinkade works here. I ordered a latte and a blueberry scone– prices were good and my breakfast was great. $ 1 for a pastry? totally welcome. They serve a nice range of other baked goods, DeBrand chocolates and some intriguing meal options– including crème brûlée french toast(oh my gosh) and a chorizo sandwich, among others. Unique choices that I’ll definitely try out sometime! My –only– criticism was that the internet was not working well at all. I was able to access and connect, but I couldn’t get to any websites except facebook, youtube, etc– nothing that I actually needed, like school and business related pages. I went elsewhere right after and had no issues, so it was definitely a problem on their end. Hoping this is different next time I come in!

Environment is awesome. Its a chill laid back feel. The pleoplw who served us were really nice young adults. I loves that the menu is on a chalk wall. I got a caramel latte and i loves it. It is recommended. The prices are a bit steep, but what coffee place isnt a little pricey!
