Love cleanliness, super accommodating staff, fireplace and hot tub! All that I needed for a nice trip–

Nothing like not having coffee in the continental to start your day off. One day I could understand however four of the six I was there in two different weeks? The Keurig coffee in the room was horrible coffee. On my second stay, I was running late getting into town so I called and told the front desk person that I would not make it in that night but to please hold my room for the next evening expecting to be charged fully for my reservation. Not only did she not hold my room, I was tagged as a no show and lost my room for the rest of the week when I got to the hospital after a long day of work. They were able to get me a room though after the front desk attendant was done insisting I never made no reservation and realized what happen to my reservation. My last evening in town I went to be only to wake up form a deep sleep from a piercing sound of the fire alarm. So no sleep, then no coffee. I had to drive to my appointment 45 minutes away to get coffee. When I got back to my office, I notice I never received an invoice for my credit card charge to the hotel. I called and explained this to the manager. They said they would take care of it and call me back. I never received a call and still don’t know who was charged for my room. I called again today to make proper payment. This management staff is sadly disorganized. Their WIFI is complicated to open and slow. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and will find another location for my next trips to Fort Wayne.

This is the home of the world’s smallest omelette, if someone can teach the cook how to make an omelette made for a man not a baby, it also took ten minutes. If a staffer acknowledges this I will change to five stars.

Decent hotel and nice people. Lousy wifi. Hilton in general has changed it’s wifi method. Wifi matters to business travelers. Hilton does not seem to care. The last four places I stayed at had lousy complicated and unreliable wifi. Next week I am in a Hampton Inn in Chattanooga. I will do one more chance. If that wifi is as bad as this one in Fort Wayne, I will try some other hotel chains. I stay at Hilton brand hotels often. At least once a month. You used to just sign-in on your HHonors number and the wifi came up and worked well. The last few months I have been very frustrated with the wifi. Yesterday morning at the Hilton Garden Inn it took me 20 minutes to sign into wifi. This morning I have wifi on my phone but not on my laptop. I have even rebooted the laptop. Nothing. I am at the point of going to another chain for my hotel stays. Right now I am heading to McDonalds — they have good wifi.

Friendliest staff, clean and spacious rooms. The manager was kind enough to give me a bottle of water as I ate my lunch in the lobby and even came back with a cookie to finish off my meal! Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Fort Wayne.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, great towels and it seemed to me that the bathrooms were recently renovated. Bonus for having free coffee out most of the time. To get another star the WiFi would have to be a lot faster and they need more outlets in the rooms.

This HGI is starting to show its age but is still a good choice when staying in Fort Wayne. It shares a parking lot with its sister Homewood Hotel and an Asian fusion joint and is close to lots of restaurants on either side of the highway. Pros: clean rooms, Keurig coffee machines, coin laundry and super nice staff. Also very close to the airport(true story: the drive only took as long as Don MacLean’s «American Pie» and INXS’ «What You Need»). The only con for this place was that the breakfast area is smaller than most HGI’s and the quality of the food was lacking. Still, I would stay here again since it is super convenient to the airport.

We were here for a tennis tournament and the staff was fantastic. The weather was atrocious during the weekend with freezing rain and snow. The staff was incredibly helpful and even offered to drive us to a local restaurant to get takeout. I would highly recommend starting here.

This is a beautiful hotel. Great check-in, by helpful and friendly managers. Their lobby is lovely, very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Quick process, easy to find parking. The room had a great window and high ceilings. Kuerig coffee maker, flat screen tv, granite bath, nice mini soaps and shampoos. Comfy bed, spotless fresh linens. I slept comfy and cozy, and the hotel was quiet and safe. I go to Fort Wayne a lot and this place is definately something to look forward to when I go. Yay!

A great HGI. No onsite bar but naked chopstick is in the parking lot. Friendly staff with clean rooms.
