So so coffee… First thing I have to say, I waited a total of about 15 mins to place my order and finally get it. Not a huge fan of that at all… I am from out of town, so when I saw on Unilocal that this was the only place that did pour overs, I came here. I was surprised that all their coffee was just flavored coffee beans. I got a Brazil import(because it seemed like the least processed coffee bean they had) in a pour over. It isn’t bad, but I’m just disappointed by the lack of quality coffee.

This is the only place in town that actually sells chemex and hairo v60 filters! They’re breakfast is awesome, I recommend the quiche or «make-your-own» breakfast sandwhich(s). If you’re looking for sweet, sugary, delicious espresso based drinks this is the place to go. However, if you’re looking for a good cup of hand crafted coffee this isn’t the place for it. They do offer aeropress, hairo v60 pour overs, and also a Chemex of any of their sugary unnatural flavored beans. They also offer a very disappointedly slim selection of single-origin beans to choose from. Most of their single-origin coffees are from intelligentsia as well, which stinks. I would love for this place to grow in this area because everything else is great. The place is huge and always busy. My wife and I do enjoy coming here. I would still say it’s the best place in town for coffee. They’re the only place in town that doesn’t take them selves super serious like its counter culture counterparts.

Hands down the best coffee in town but it’s not just about the drinks. The food is great too! My favorite is the paleo bar and my husband’s is the meat lovers quiche. I love the atmosphere as well. It’s a great place to meet friends, to read or to study. We’ve also used their coffee to cater showers and even our wedding. Bottom line Mocha Lounge is our go to for coffee, breakfast, Sunday morning dates and meetings with friends!

I attended a coffee date here with Melissa Long after she insisted this was the best place(non chain) in Fort Wayne to get coffee. Certainly it is. Awesome atmosphere and great place to sit.

We dropped into Mocha Lounge for bulk coffee beans, during a random afternoon search in the area for beans(RIP Espresso Gallery). I was visiting the Fort for the weekend, and never happened upon Mocha Lounge before as a former local. There was a wide selection of fall-flavored coffee beans to choose from, before my driving mate decided upon Harvest Spice on the barista’s recommendation. Although I have been on a caffeine hiatus for four(4) months, I still wanted to try something unique, but not sweet. The barista brewed caffeine-free blood orange tea and poured it over ice; it was the most refreshing, tart ice tea I’ve had in a while, and really hit the spot after a busy day of shopping and activities. The coffee shop was clean and well-decorated, not overly cluttered. I really liked the shop’s branded coffee mugs, with chemical formulas printed on them… perfect for the caffeinated chemistry nerd in your life. For those who like sweeter drinks, Mocha Lounge offered a large creative selection of flavored items beyond the typical mocha or vanilla latte… French Toast, Pumpkin Chai, Marshmallow, etc. They also carry a wide variety of baked goods to satisfy your dietary needs… gluten-free, paleo, vegan, etc. Many good local coffee shops have closed down in Fort Wayne over the years, so it was wonderful to visit the Mocha Lounge… it seems to have kept up with the times while keeping its core regular customers.

A big supporter of locally owned businesses, I love Mocha Lounge’s vibe. You feel welcome immediately. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It’s kind of the cheers of coffee shops; if you’re a regular, everyone knows your name. I also appreciate their selection of gluten-free pastries and lunch items. They also have an impressive meeting room space, available for rent for a nominal fee. If you’re on the go, I recommend their drive-thru. The only complaint I have is that parking can sometimes be dicey. This place is really happenin’ at certain times of day, so plan accordingly.

I’m really glad I gave this place a chance– they have a lot of paleo + gluten free food items. There’s not a lot of breakfast places I can get a quick bite at. Coffee was good too!

Great place. Lots of room to sit and good coffee. The lady was über helpful and worked fast on my 6 orders. We like off the beaten path coffee shops. We will bookmark this as a favorite. Yummy smoothie too.

Coffee is very good by local standards! The ambiance is nice and comforting. I even felt inclined to do some people watching. I also enjoyed the Paleo Breakfast bars which i think they make on site. But it is definitely pricey for coffee.

There are unresponsive hipsters staffing mocha today. I said hi first, guy saw me, no response. I stood at the counter so long while two girls chatted at the espresso machine, that I went and sat down on a couch for awhile. And that was after one called over her shoulder and said, «be right there».This isn’t Seattle! if I were a secret shopper, this wouldn’t be a good day for the business.

Really enjoy this spot. The staff is friendly, coffee is good, and they have gluten-free foods/snacks. I go there to work for a few hours when I need a change of scenery. And there are always people conducting meetings or chatting. Very nice atmosphere. The only small detractor is that it has that coffee shop smell(which is not the same as a coffee smell). But this is common to most cafes.

Great service and tasty goodies. Love their sandwiches for lunch. Drinks are consistently made the same which seems to be problematic for other local coffee shops. Kids room is always nice for moms to meet up. Also a great place for informal business meetings. Small meeting room available for a quieter space but often find it’s just as nice to sit at the tables in the lounge. Gluten free options.

Recently, I visited a local coffee shop in Fort Wayne called The Mocha Lounge. I expected it to be a lot like Starbucks but once I walked in, I was taken back by the open environment and welcoming faces. There was a lot to choose from when it came to looking at the menu and reasonable prices, which is the complete opposite at Starbucks. There are several tables and chairs, along with couches, for customers to sit and study, chat, or listen to music in a warm environment. The staff was absolutely excellent. They were very patient with me, considering I had never been there, gave me suggestions, were polite, and seemed like they really enjoyed working there. There is a variety of food to choose, from a bagel with cream cheese to some organic oatmeal that is a big hit at the Mocha Lounge. Along with good coffee, it’s in a great location for people to stop in and grab a quick cup of coffee. The Mocha Lounge is also a laid back environment. The staff does not have a uniform, which to me makes it seem more«homey». When I visited, there were many moms along with their little ones. In the back of the coffee shop, there is a kid’s room with a TV that plays kid friendly shows, toys, crayons, coloring books, and bright colors so the kids can stay entertained while the moms enjoy some times sipping their coffee. The coffee is absolutely delicious. There are many different flavors, temperatures, and sizes to choose from. I got the Snickers mocha(frozen) and it was marvelous. It was cold, considering it was frozen, and it was topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. My friend had one of the Mocha Lounge’s signature iced coffees, and although simple, it was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed that the owners of the coffee shop were in the back working and helping with certain orders, which isn’t normal for many businesses. The staff made small talk with the customers while making the drinks that they ordered. I would suggest the Mocha Lounge to anyone who is looking for a good coffee drink, a welcoming environment, smiling faces, and a great experience. I am used to being rushed when going in to many other coffee shops but the staff was patient and helped me through my decision-making. Because they were so patient, my experience there became much better. The Mocha Lounge was a great environment with delicious coffee and I would recommend it to anyone looking for some great coffee.

1st time here and I’ll be back. Wasn’t sure what to order at first with the 3 full size menu’s offering food, coffee and espresso drinks. I should have tried just a black coffee to see how it stacked up to others but I was in the mood for a little extra. We ordered the Salted Carmel latte and Carmel Macchiato both were great but tasted like the same exact drink. We ordered a muffin too which was as good as a muffin can get, pretty sure they don’t make the here. Another visit here I will have to find try one of their sandwiches, sit and stay a while.

So I was with a coworker and we were early for a meeting and we decided to find a coffee shop close to where the meeting was. What a pleasant surprise! Very comfortable space set up with regular tables and chairs but also with couches and coffee tables. There’s a meeting room for people to use, too. Friendly service — I like when even little things are explained so it was nice that we got a good description of what we ordered, and in particular the kinds of tea the shop has. I’m normally a dark roast/4 splenda/skim milk kind of girl but I decided to try the cappucino chip. Super tasty and no burned aftertaste, which I find happens sometimes. This is the kind of place there should be more of. If I lived in the area, it’s the kind of place that I would be in on a daily basis. If I am back in the area, it is somewhere I plan to visit again!

I come here more for the atmosphere than the coffee. In fact, I’ve been here on a regular basis over the past 6 months and can’t ever remember ordering coffee. I usually get tea to sit and sip. Sit and sip is what this place makes me want to do. It is a busy spot but the décor is soothing and there is plenty of comfortable seating spots both as tables and chairs and deep cushioned couches and armchairs. They even have a «Mommy room» and although I don’t have children, I appreciate that there is a corral with a door where mommies can take their little ones. They do have a good selection of coffee and tea as well as cold drinks. There are baked goodies(nothing special). This one definitely falls under the«cozy place to study» category and there is Free WiFi available. Forget to bring your laptop? They have two public computers for your use. Forget to bring something to read? They have a lending bookshelf for you to share. The staff is always friendly and helpful and does a good job of keeping things neat and clean. If I could have one wish for an improvement, I’d love to see them offer their hot drinks in real café’ mugs. I realize this would require dish washing, but when you have a piping hot drink in a paper cup… it just isn’t the same for sipping. For now, I’ll bring my own mug. They get more things right than wrong.

The best best best best best coffee place I have ever gone to in my life– hands down. No other place has as good of a variety, flavors or atmosphere like this place. I wish I could clone it and take it with me to every city I am in. I cannot be in Fort Wayne without going there at least twice every time I visit. They ground everything fresh, and that makes the biggest difference. You can taste every flavor(rather than sbcks and other places that its all premixed and tastes the same as every other flavor). Plus it has a mom and pop feel, which makes it so much more homey! Their baked goods and sandwiches are pretty great, too– all together a MUST! If you enjoy coffee, you have to try it!
