I love this place. This location is old, kinda dirty, needs updating but all adds to the character and nostalgia of an old school pizza king. I Was raised on pizza king so no surprise that Inrave about their royal feast pizZa with side of bbq sauce(aka, Pats Special) and potentially the best breadsticks in fort wayne. This location has a cd juke box full of horrible music and a street fighter II arcade game. Pretty awesome.

I go to the Bluffton Road location about once a month(don’t eat pizza all that offen). I really enjoy the sausage and mushroom pizza. It is very unique in taste because you can actually taste the toppings and sauce in part because it is not overwhelmed by crust which I might add is perfectly cooked. I have tried the subs before(Clara Pizza location) and I sent it back because it hardly had any meat on it. They did add more meat upon my complaint. I will keep my monthly visit to bye Pizza King on Bluffton Road simply because I like their pizza.

Great pizza with great toppings that go all the way to edge. Perfect balance of: sauce, crust, toppings and CHEESE!

Ok let’s start off by saying I went to the New Haven restaurant since it is not available to choose on here. I will sum this up with the one word that describes Pizza King: MEDIOCRE Now, I really dislike bashing restaurants or pizza places for that matter but really… I had a 12″ meat feast pizza and it was nothing more than a Totino’s frozen pizza. It looked and even tasted like one. Note: I still have yet to try their stromboli or sub’s and I’m a little weary to, based on the quality of their pizza.

Needs updating and pizza was ok but could beam prove eats made to crust which was chewy and not crispy at all. My pizza sauce was to sweet and kind of bland. The pizza actually gave me digestive issues, and the décor lacks updating at all and the smell is of 10 yr old pizza. I would not recommend this restaurant.

My favorite pizza joint in Indiana. Unique thin crust and crumbly sausage. Order from table side phones is quirky but effective. Breadsticks and subs are top notch too. I’ll be back.

Nasty pizza. If that is the only reason that you want to try this place, then save your money.

I ordered carry out last night and was very disappointed. The order was a small pizza which was good and two sub sandwiches which were pathetic with far more bread than was needed for the very thinly sliced pieces of meat and the one small piece of cheese. I was driving while I ordered and must not have noticed that she said spiced lunch meat was a part of the sub. Who else puts this cheap piece of meat on a sandwich? The three meats were ham, spiced lunch meat and salami and to say thinly sliced is really an understatement. Needless to say I will probably never order anything from them again.

I got pizza here a few times during my 6 month stay in Fort Wayne, IN. It’s not too expensive and it’s quite good. I’ve seen comparisons to frozen pizza and I know where that comes from. It’s done in a similar style to the cheap Party Pizzas you have seen at Walmart for $ 1.00. Note that it doesn’t TASTE like those pizzas as in frozen and cheap but the pepperoni & sausage are very fine and done in that style. All in all I’d say this place is something I really enjoyed more than a lot of pizza places just because the pizza was unique, I’ve never had pizza like it anywhere else. Oleys is better pizza in Fort Wayne, no question about that but this place is cheaper and delivers. So although this may not be the best pizza in the world in regards to gourmet pizza or anything, I can assure you it’s quite enjoyable and quite tasty, especially the cracker thin crust. In fact the very last place I stopped when my car was packed up and I was leaving Fort Wayne for lunch was Pizza King. I got a small deluxe and was definitely NOT disappointed. Give them a try, you will not be sorry.
