First time here. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. Really sad they’re closing at the end of january. My mom and i shared phở. Crab rangoon. And hot coffee and it only cost $ 14.53. I hope to find a place like this in California.

My Husband and I wewnt here a few weeks ago, I saw the sign outside«Best Phở in town» Ah. I beg to differ. It was okay… NOT the best… Kim Vu“s is way better and has beef that looks and tastes like beef. The spring rolls were okay, but chewy .Crab rangoon were good. The waitress was kind of rude. Would I return… Nah…

3 stars for food 1 star for service Food was good. I ordered the Kung Pow shrimp which came with fried rice. I was very happy with the portion size. it was not overwhelming like most restaurants and the fair for the price. The service was lacking. There wasn’t anyone in the front to seat us, even though the place was empty(only 2 tables had customers around 12:30 pm). We waited quite a while before someone noticed our group of 5 standing up there. I didn’t order the lunch special but it was brought to me anyways. I said I didn’t order it or want it, but the server left it at the table in a huff. The service out right sucked after you got your food. You never saw the server again unless you got up and went looking. I had to wait forever to get the server’s attn for a refill on my coke. She was sitting in the corner, ignoring us… her only table for a late lunch. She also ignored my coworker’s request for a refill. When it came time to pay, of course, I was charged for the special… which I didn’t want or didn’t eat. It’s stuff like this that keeps me from frequenting ethnic restaurants. First time ever I debated not to leave a tip, but felt bad and gave her a small one.

Visiting Fort Wayne from Chicago and came here bc the lady at the nail salon said it was the best place for vietnamese nearby. 2.95 for the spring rolls were a steal. They were large, well made, fresh spring rolls. And the phở was great too. The décor is a bit 90s but whatever. I was just thrilled to have phở that tasted as good as the places in Chicago.

We were first introduced to Qui’s because my husband’s former employer’s head office is located in Fort Wayne and he would go down about four times a year on business. One of the ladies he worked with was originally from Laos, a country located in Southeast Asia(near Thailand, Burma) and she insisted that Qui’s served very authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food. It became a quick favorite of my husband as would make it a point to visit every time he was there for work. He loved it so much that he would even bring me back food in the cooler. Anyway, I accompanied him down to Fort Wayne about a couple of summers ago and had the opportunity to visit Qui’s myself and, let me tell you, it really was something special. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants here in Toronto but this stood out because it was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before — just very, very fresh, light and no grease. I’ve always had a sliced flank steak with some type of noodles and some salad and, again, just so many different and fresh flavors. My husband usually got some type of Phở, which I’m typically not a fan of, but Qui’s was a different story all together. Very reasonable prices and, in typical Fort Wayne style, such pleasant and gracious service — a must try!

Most cold rainy days when I crave comfort food, we go to Qui’s. The Phở served here is very close to the Tibetan dish I grew up on and it makes me feel at home. The warm soup with chicken, broccoli & sprouts is little more in sodium but delicious. Did not like the egg roll as much and when ordered it as a starter, it was served with the phở and just one teeny roll. However, I like the ambience and the soupy noodle warm bowl. Add extra spicy sauce make it hotter.

The food here is awesome. So good and very tasty. Make sure you have a small Vietnamese insert in your menu and order off that. It’s cheaper than the Chinese food and from I saw and had way better tasting. The fried calamari was bomb dot com. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars was the lady that works the front door left us up there un greeted for several minutes and she was rude to another customer as well. Our waitress made up for the bad at the front. She was attentive and gave us great recommendations on our meal. I’ll be back for sure.

This place has some BAD and overpriced Chinese food. I am visiting from Boston and maybe I am spoiled by the options back east, but… $ 5+ for four burned crab rangoons. Filling actually is nice but only 4?! And burned? The $ 12 orange beef smells/tastes like old fryer grease and has no flavor otherwise. Change the oil! Beef fried rice wasn’t so bad and they made it to order. Egg drop soup was ok but it is hard to mess up. Packets of duk sauce are mall style and gross! $ 28 down the drain…

Frog legs: 5 stars Phở: 2 stars Service: 2 stars Be warned: if you order the frog legs there will be an approximately 25 minute wait. You won’t be informed of this until 15 minutes into your wait time. The frog legs are delicious, however: well-prepared, with a hint of curry and lemongrass. Phở here is a different story. It tastes almost buttery, which is weird, and has none of the subtlety and depth of flavor that you’d expect from the«best phở in Ft. Wayne.» Everyone who ordered from the Chinese menu had their food quickly and seemed satisfied, so it might be best to stick with that.

Attention all professional travelers. You know who you are … The auditors, consultants, contractors, and others who spend long stretches on the road. Those of us who travel for a living know the routine. We roll into town, check into our hotel and once we have our work situation under control one of the first things we do is try to figure out where we can get a good meal. And if we’re going to be in town for an extended period — or maybe on multiple occasions — we’re hoping we can find a few different places so we don’t(a) have to eat the same fast or national chain food or(b) have to eat at the same place night after night. Sound familiar? If so, gather ’round and listen up. One of your own has a recommendation for you. If you ever find yourself in Ft. Wayne, you must check out Qui’s. This is a truly authentic Chinese and especially Vietnamese restaurant. During my current stint in Ft. Wayne, I’ve eaten here twice. I was first drawn to it on a cold night in late October. It was starting to snow and I had a craving for hot soup. A quick search of Unilocal revealed some good reviews of the phở, so I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say — writing this during my second visit in 3 nights — I was NOT disappointed. The phở is absolutely phenomenal. A huge bowl of deliciously hot broth with a bounty of noodles, chicken(they also have beef), onions, basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños, among other ingredients. For anyone who has tried phở before, you will realize right away that this is the real deal. Also delicious, but clearly not the star of the show, are the spring rolls(chilled with vegetables, shrimp noodles and pork) and the egg rolls(fried with cabbage and other veg). Both are a great appetizer to kick off your meal. I’m not much of a drinker, but some may be interested that they seem to have a full bar and karaōke set up for weekend nights. Looks like it could be a good time. So, wondering what to do for a good meal while in Ft. Wayne? Qui’s!!!

Don’t order off the Chinese menu. It’s a waste of your time an money. Get the Phở! It’s cheap, huge and really really good! I’m a 275 pound dude and I can BARELY finish the P3. BUT…let me reiterate… the Chinese food on the menu is definitely sub-par. Not like when this was the Mandarin. Just ignore the fact it even exists and get the Vietnamese fare!

I was new to the area and decided to try out nearby restaurants to see if I can get a taste of authentic Asian food in the Midwest. Coming from the East Coast with an area highly populated with good Vietnamese restaurants, Qui’s Restaurant had big shoes to fill! But I’ll tell you that they definitely did. Very authentic Viet food like Phở(noodles in broth soup). Just make sure to order from the laminated smaller menu in the middle of the main menu because that’s where all the Vietnamese Cuisine stuff is. Don’t be a newbie and order Chinese food here that’s available everywhere. Enjoy.

I’ve tried Phở at all of the restaurants in Fort Wayne that serve it, and Qui’s is hands down my favorite. I don’t like my Phở sweet. I eat Phở here once a week(at least).
