It’s been a solid year since I’ve stepped foot in any Red Lobster. Leave it to LEMONADE to convince me to rethink my position. My previous visit ended badly, and I decided that like an awful marriage, some things just need to be let go, but I digress. I came in expecting our relationship to be mended an all to be well. Sadly, I’m mistaken. I’ll not be mean, but something is off in the atmosphere. Everyone is nice, but there is an air of discontent that is not emanating from me. The food: we tried the crab cakes. It’s a new addition to the appetizer menu. They were greasy and that’s as good as it gets. I had my old standby, Cajun chicken pasta. It was delicious and it is still my favorite. The biscuits delivered to the table where on the crisp side, but still warm and tasty. It was an ok dining experience, but for $ 79.84 I was not wowed. Before you start to think me glutinous, I had 2 guests with me. Sidebar: there was a 1st time date couple seated behind us, the young lady ordered 2 appetizers and an entrée. To top that off, she kept disappearing on her phone. Word to the wise, 1st dates should be coffee and 2nd dates drinks. The young man seated near me is most likely wondering where the evening went wrong as I type.

Came with my mom for mothers day and had a really nice dinner. Our server was really good and was polite and helpful with all of our questions. Always had a tea to drink, and never say around waiting for her to come back and check. Big ups Red Lobster!

Mixed feelings for Red Lobster. Been many times. Especially for the AYCE shrimp. Would have been better had they been a little quicker with the shrimp. Often left sitting waiting for the next plate. But the food has always been delicious and hot every time I’ve been there. The biscuits are always delightful. Not an everyday place to eat because of the price.

Always a good place to eat! The biscuits are great! They have added brussel sprouts to the menu and they are good.

Red Lobsters are a franchise so it’s hard to rate their food because it’s always the same, good-4 altho those cheddar bay biscuits, 5, are what keep us coming back. Then there’s the cleanliness, waitresses and overall good experience and this particular Red Lobster stands out for all. Go here. You’ll be glad you did!

The staff we encountered from entering the establishment to leaving was excellent. Very friendly and can answer any question you have. For an appetizer I ordered a cup of potato bacon soup which was good but some of the potato pieces seemed over done yet others were spot on. For my entre I had the Caesar salad with salmon. Salad was perfect. Not too heavy and not too light on dressing. Loved the shaved parmesan The salmon was very nicely done with a light season, moist and flaked apart. Overall great lunch with a price worth paying.

We just love this place and dine there about every Friday night! Our favorite meal is Wood-Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon… when the green beans are done right they are out of this world! I get a side of maple glazed to go over my salmon n green beans… the best ever! Our favorite drinks are Top Shelf Long Island(which by the way Tom thinks is the best in town) and mine is Strawberry n Mango Lobstarita with sugar n lots of lime they call it the Meka Rita n i promise you will never taste anything so good… now if I could only figure out how to make it at home! Bri the bar tender is the best… shes the best replacement since Andrea is gone to the Green Frog… we will have to get by there to visit her soon tho… To sum it all up red lobster has a great environment for dining whether it’s you and ur family or a group you won’t be disappointed! Had lunch here yesterday. We’ve eaten here many times and never have had a bad experience. Salmon was excellent. Service was courteous and prompt. Décor could use some improvement, just has a somewhat worn appearance.

Red Lobster is our favorite family restaurant. Although there can be quite a wait sometimes it is almost always worth it. The food is served hot, the servers and management are ALWAYS ready to make our experience satisfactory. Both of my children have their favorite choices and are never disappointed.

Good food for the price. However, our waiter was a little forgetful about our order and drinks. Besides that, the atmosphere and experience was really good!

Extremely busy place, we had almost an hour wait, so make sure to make reservations. We had couple of appetizers. Mozzarella sticks were nothing to brag about, probably from frozen, the stuffed mushrooms tasted pretty good, but the amount of butter and fat they were floating in was kind of off putting. The calamari with fried vegetables was OK, but no one should EVER deep fry broccoli, its pretty disgusting. We did the lobster fest and wont be doing that again. The lobster was really sad looking, tiny, tough and slightly burned. The shrimp were decent and the lobster mac n cheese was fine.

Twice the Red Lobster lured(crab trapped), me in with the promise of their freshly prepared and delicious crab(bait)? Seafood… but sadly when I «take the bait» I am rarely satisfied. This Red Lobster franchise soaks their shrimp in enough butter to drown a man and give you a heck of a stomach bloating to boot. Sure their cheese biscuits are great but man cannot live by bread alone. I’ve tried a few dishes at this Red Lobster trying to find something that I really like, and sadly I just struck out every time. It might have had been the fact that I lived in Seattle, and think I know something about fresh seafood? It’s too bad to because my date really loved Red Lobster. Maybe our tastes in seafood are just different? I don’t know, but why find out again, on my dime? Next time I’ll think of Long John Silver’s in New Haven. It should beat out the Red Lobster for taste and price.

This was a very nice Red Lobster. Our waitress was super friendly, tell us all kinds of stories, putting up with my crazy co workers. She took special care in getting my co worker food he could eat due to a shell fish allergy. The food was good, standard red lobster. I got free ice cream due to the waitress feeling bad for me having lost my wallet the day before.

Hey Shooter, wanna go to Red Lobster? Pros: + Mmm, cheddar bay biscuits. Mmm, delicious fattening biscuits. + Fried shrimp? Fried clams? Crab Legs? Lobster Tail? Same Plate? I’m in! + Coconut Fried Shrimp with Pina Colada sauce is delicious. + The salad before is a nice touch. + The waiter, while slightly aloof, was good. The manager is a bit overly chipper, but at least he’s committed. He seems very committed to keeping the place spotless. Cons: — All the seafood is just ok at best. The sides are barely cracking ok. — They got rid of sweet and sour sauce, ok… this is really personal negative, but it’s disappointing nonetheless. Maybe… — The décor could be positive or negative, really depends on if you like nostalgia. Overall, the Red Lobster is a decent, dependable chain. It’s never going to floor anyone, but it’s always going to be there for a moderately priced, most likely overly fried, seafood dinner.

«Upon our entrance to the restaurant, we were greeted by a tank full of lobsters blissfully unaware of their impending doom. We were led to a booth where the hostess explained that our waiter, Johnny — described as a „seafood expert“ — would be with us shortly. As we waited for him to arrive, we took in the atmosphere around us. Jared referred to the Red Lobster environment as „comfy“ and Mayra and Carmen concurred. Albeit somewhat tacky, the décor conveyed the nautical theme of the restaurant. The wood had a weathered look reminiscent of a captain’s quarters and there were fish decoys mounted on the wall. Attention was paid to even the smallest detail, and rather than regular iodized salt, sea salt was provided at the table. As stated, the place was cozy, but there is a fine line between cozy and smothering… and that line might have been crossed. Jared, who sat by himself, had plenty of room to relax, while Carmen and Mayra were squeezed in like sardines(no pun intended) on the opposite side of the booth. No two lighting fixtures were the same; a different one hung above each booth. Mayra expressed her distaste for the rusty old oil lamp above our table. Our waiter arrived and gave us our menus to look over. Though smiling and appearing in a good mood, Johnny made little effort to converse or show any concern for our state of being. He took our beverage order first. Jared ordered a Coke, Mayra a Sprite, and Carmen an IBC Root Beer(which we found out, did not come with free refills). He came back with our drinks and asked to take our order. Despite his standoffishness, Johnny was able to help us navigate the confusing menu and find the cheapest way to get the food we wanted. Mayra, on a budget, ordered an economical platter of crunchy popcorn shrimp with a Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Jared got Walt’s Favorite shrimp and snow crab legs with a side of French fries, and Carmen also got snow crab legs as well as crunchy popcorn shrimp and mashed potatoes. She agreed with Mayra that while a fishy taste is desirable for some dishes, mashed potatoes is not one of them. After a laborious and ultimately unsuccessful attempt at cracking their crab legs, Jared and Carmen sought the assistance of Johnny. Using the hygiene and precision of a medical surgeon, he stretched some gloves over his hands and demonstrated the correct way of accomplishing the task. We were then left to enjoy the rest of our meal. All of us declined from using the sauce that they provided for the shrimp. Jared and Carmen described the crab legs as adequate but bland, nothing special. Mayra noted the superiority of the crab legs at our local Kendallville King Buffet. Everyone agreed that the shrimp was delightful, especially Jared who for three dollars more, enjoyed premium shrimp. Overall we were satisfied with our dining experience. While the food did not quite meet our expectations, what stood out the most was the prompt service of the staff and the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It may have just been our imagination, but as we exited the restaurant, with full stomachs(and emptier wallets), we noticed that there seemed to be fewer lobsters in the tank than there were when we first arrived.» –Carmen Hamilton, Jared Flotow, Myra Bahena(restaurant review for English class)

You usually can’t go wrong with Red Lobster, it is one of my favorite chain restaurants and is consistently good across locations. The biggest variable is always service. While a lot of the waiters/waitresses at this location seemed perfectly nice, our waiter was pretty crabby the whole night. That being said he did a great job, just probably had stuff on his mind. But still, in a service industry there are some things that you need to check at the door…

Went here last night about 6:30. They were steady but not busy — not like a Saturday night. We were seated promptly and provided menus. 15 minutes later our waitress shows up to take drink orders. 10 minutes later we receive our drinks and order our food. 15 minutes later, we finally get salads and rolls. 15 more minutes later we finally received our food. I ordered the fish and chips. It tasted like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for half an hour. Soggy, limp fries and fish — yuk. the rest of my party’s food was ok — just ok. Waitress did keep up on refilling drinks, so I can’t really complain about that. But when we got our bill, it seemed a little high for 3 people — $ 80.00 with no appetizers, drinks or desert. When I got home, I looked close and saw that we were charged for 5 Sam Adams’ beers — not ours! We called the manager, and instead of just checking with the waitress to assure we didn’t order the drinks and crediting our credit card, we had to drive back to the restaurant so they could give us a gift card — they said it was too hard to credit our account. So now, they have insured that we have to go back and probably spend more money. Pay attention to your bill to assure it is correct, and if you go here — make sure you have PLENTY of time.

I have never had one disappointing experience at this Red Lobster! The food is always perfect and the staff hasn’t let us down once! The new bacon wrapped, bourbon glazed scallops are soooo good! I love Red Lobster and appreciate its high standards as a chain restaurant.
