Paula’s on Main is extremely expensive, it’s ridiculous. Their food is not all that great either, I didn’t even finish my dish.

Got in without a reservation on a weeknight within 5 minutes for a table of 3. Having not checked out the menu for our first time here my party was all impressed with the wine list and small menu.(Smaller the menu the more specialty they are). Service was top notch! Food was delicious and came out with a great presentation. Recommend the Seabass.

I love Paula’s…have been numerous times and I’m never dissapointed. The atmosphere is perfect, whether you’re on a romantic date with your stud of a husband or you’re meeting up with a group of friends. The portions are pefect, do yourself a favor and order one of the 2 nightly chef creations. It won’t dissapoint. The wine pours are generous & the seafood is so fresh. I’m going again, you should too!

My wife and I tend to come into Paula’s every couple of months. We came in on Saturday and it was like a completely different atmosphere. The servers seemed rushed, even though we waited longer than normal for our food. My wife ordered the walleye. Sadly it wasn’t what she was used to getting. It was over cooked, broken and pieced back together. I ordered the combination dinner. The scallops I had were nearly raw, my crab cake was brown and dry and my walleye finger was really dark. For the money you pay for the seafood in this restaurant you expect it to be top notch. We’ve been coming here for a long time and never had this experience. We will be back but I can’t say when.

Excellent, fresh and I mean fresh seafood. My husband went to Paula’s for our anniversary. I had salmon, it was so good. I also, ordered a carrot cake for desserts, the best ever. It is expensive but it’s worth it. I recommend this place.

Best seafood in Fort Wayne… not that there are many options. My favorite thing to get is the seafood boiled in mad Anthony beer! Wish it could be a little more affordable — and some décor updates — perfecto!

Go Else Where! We were deceived by the positive reviews. I would have got better Fish, and far better service at Long John Silvers. Would never go back. 1) They may have the worst service in Fort Wayne. McDonalds has better service than this place. I would expect better when I pay 20 – 30 $ for a entrée. 2) We ordered Fish Sandwich, which was very salty. When we complained it to the waitress, she was defending, instead of apologizing. Walleye was kinda over fried, burned. 3) The Usher makes your first impression, the worst impression when u enter. She doesn’t know how to welcome guests, where to seat them, and she looked as if she doesn’t care.

Yes sir!!! Crab cakes, King crab, Jambalaya and some bubbly — Perrier Jouet Belle Epoque. Service and food was fantastic. Minus the view/beach the lively atmosphere reminded me Lulu’s or Neptune’s net. Best seafood I’ve had in the area so far!

Great little place kinda off the beaten path. Loved the seafood counter as you walk in. The smells of the fresh seafood mixed with the smells coming from the dining area were intoxicating. Went for lunch and was very pleased. Had the fish tacos. Portions were generous and the plate was very well put together. Prices were reasonable. Overall a great experience and I definitely plan to return.

Best seafood in a 90 mile radius! I had the fish tacos and my friend had the fish and chips. This place will surprise you. Everything was fresh and delicious.

I am writing in regards to my recent visit to your establishment on October 17, 2015 — 7:00PM. I wanted to start by saying that in the many years of living in Fort Wayne, this was my first visit to your location. We arrived for our reservation, and were promptly seated. The service was excellent and great. There were no complaints about the food. The atmosphere though was less then tasteful. We were there celebrating our 9 year wedding anniversary and needless to say that we were seated next to a rather large group of obnoxious and loud people — whom apparently had no handle on how much they drank. At no point during our evening there did any manager attempt to quite this group, as I looked around the area it appeared that not one person was happy about the noise. I even watched as 1 couple requested to be moved. During the time we sat there I did not see at any point any employee or manager attempt to quite them down. I would have thought better of the staff to quite the table, but apparently coming in and partying like you’re at college sorority frat party who cannot handle there drinking — is an acceptable and encourage at your establishment. I kind of anticipate that when I go to B’Dubs, i expect to be in an atmosphere liked that. I would have thought at an establishment that you pay 35 $-50 $+ per plate of food, that staff would have put a stop to the noise or asked them to leave. so diners around could enjoy there celebrations. I do understand the noise — but there is noise, then there is obnoxious I am a drunken sorority girl noise, and the noise was that of drunken sorority girls who can’t handle there wine… Thank you for the disappointing evening — I was expecting more of an establishment such as yours. Thank You

You won’t expect to find this place in Ft Wayne. Surprisingly fresh! My business partner from the west coast even approved the cioppino. My tuna was excellent. Price is reasonable. You won’t find better in this area.

Paula’s is this hidden gem, I think. You walk in and can see their raw bar/fresh fish waiting to be cooked up. The hostess sat my party right away and our waitress was very friendly. They have a decent wine list and they don’t charge ridiculous prices for bottles which is refreshing. The waitress suggested a red blend called Troublemaker and it was delicious. For an appetizer, we had the calamari. It was fried just right, not overdone and the meat was so tender. I got the crabcakes with the vegetable special which was a cauliflower au gratin. The crabcakes are amazing because they are pure meat with some bell peppers. It’s not a bunch of dough with a little crab. They were so delicious and perfectly seared. Their specials also looked really good. I like how they are creative with their dishes yet they aren’t overly pretentious or avant garde.

I went here for the first time with my father tonight and although it’s a little expensive, it is worth every cent. The food was exquisite and the service was impeccable. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a nice dinner any evening.

Wow, seafood in the Midwest? Paula’s on Main does it RIGHT ! Scallops were delicious, service was fast and my wife and I had a delightful meal. We even bought fresh sea scallops from the seafood counter to cook the next day at home! Thanks to a friend from work, also originally from the East Coast, this was a wonderful experience!

I love this place! The vibe is very beach and a bit eclectic. So definitely comfortable for anyone, and this is made apparent by the range of dress that is seeing on the patrons anything from t’s and jeans to full business suit. I have tried a couple of things one special, that was fantastic very earthy(although I did find a bone or two…) The second thing I tried was a beautiful spring mix salad with pineapple, mango, feta and HUGE shrimp and scallops. The scallops were melt in your mouth tender and delicious, the shrimp was a little over done, but tasty none the less!

Blackened Bleu Cheese Salmon. Walleye Fingers. Warm Bread. Clam Chowder. Fresh Fish if you’re silly enough to rather cook than eat here!

First time here and this place was so amazing! When we first got there, we didn’t have any reservations but they seated us within 5 – 10 minutes. A lot of people were dressed up. They have a variety of seafoods and I couldn’t decide what to get. I ended up getting the jambalaya — it was so delicious. It wasn’t too spicy which I prefer it that way. My bf had the almond walleye… it was so tasty! Each meal comes with a salad. Definitely recommend getting the wedge salad! The price isn’t too expensive. It is the right price for the amount you’re getting. The service was great! Our waiter was so nice and he was always there when we needed him. Overall, check out this place if you’re in downtown. Love it and will be coming back for special occasions. *parking is behind the building*

Wow!!! Amazing seafood. I had the seafood salad and the scallops just melted in your mouth. This salad had the right mix of sweet and salty with protein. I loved it here. I will definitely be back.
