This review only addresses the service, not the quality of the food, which is usually very good.. I took my children out to eat on 3÷26÷2016, and after being seated, we waited over 10 minutes and were never greeted by a server. There were at least half a dozen open tables, so it didn’t seem that busy. So, we left. It was a very disappointing experience.

I am a fan, but the pizzas could be better if they were more consistent. We ordered three Hawaiian pizzas – two for the table and one to-go. Amazingly, all three Hawaiian pizzas came out noticeably different. Haha. Mine was more like cheese pizza. The other Hawaiian looked like it had more stuff. The Hawaiian to go actually had the items that it stated on the menu. On the other hand, the pizza items from the to-go box(the ham, pineapples) looked and tasted like they were from scratch rather than prepackaged made-for-pizza items.

I have visited both 800 locations multiple times. Our service has always been fantastic… not to mention the food. The whole reason we go is to eat awesome stuff not offered elsewhere. I love the pizzas and my wife enjoys the gluten free crust they offer. The Mista salad rocks! This location has more taps at the bar and always has something fun for every craft beer drinker. Not a single bad thing to say about the food, service, or atmosphere. Keep up the good work!

First, to clear up an error in a couple of previous reviews, this is NOT a chain, but a locally owned business with another location out north. The bar was hand built by one of the owners relatives. We almost always sit at the bar, and have always gotten friendly service. There are a couple of muted televisions at the bar. They have a very nice craft beer selection, and while the serving sizes are sometimes a little smaller than I like, prices are reasonable. The food is always very good. The mista salad is great as are the squash and meatball appetizers. I have tried all the pizzas at least once, and have never been disappointed. Took my grandson and sat outside once, and he loved the kids pizza, a real pizza, not the crap stuff restaurants so often pawn off on kids. Plenty of parking around back. Worthwhile.

My husband and I met a friend here for dinner the other night. We all enjoyed the pizzas we ordered. The crust is thinner, which we prefer, and the toppings are fresh. They have a good selection of beers and our service was excellent!

Met friends for lunch on a weekday. The weekday lunch specials were so good! Five of us ordered one —(choice of small pizza and choice of salad). The Caesar Salad was excellent and served in a chilled bowl. Maybe my best restaurant Caesar ever. My «Verdura Pizza» was the right size for me, with a thoughtful well-balanced combination of ingredients. The room was cold, a bit dark, and not especially welcoming, but the excellent pizza and salad made up for it handily. You should try it!

The resteraunt is deceivingly large. I had no idea that there was a bar inside it. Anyways, pizza is really good. Ordered the 800 degree pizza. Tastes fresh and like an actual pizza and not something that will make me sick or regret that I ate it.

Brought my family to 800 Degrees Three Fires because of its 4.0 rating on Unilocal but am leaving a review after my first visit because I doubt I will return. I took suggestions from prior reviews and ordered the Mista salad and 800 Degrees pizza. + Mista salad is the right size(got the half) for one person and was lightly dressed which is how I like it. Good greens, four tomatoes, pine nuts, but a bit skimpy on parm but the shaving that was there was at least fresh. — Ricotta was in 3 places on the pizza. We had a couple 800’s in the group and this seemed to be standard. Why? I had to distribute the cheese myself. It should be quarter sized dollops on each slice if not two places on the slice! Even distribution. Presentation counts. We eat with our eyes too! — Sauce was pretty much nonexistent. — Cheese pizzas also at the table. Basic. — We had leftovers of the 800 and it does not reheat well. — Server never offered to refill empty drinks. Came by for essential functions — order, pizza drop off, check drop off. — When I lead with«we intend to order dessert» at the beginning when placing the entrée order I would think the server would want to follow up on that later. No olive oil cake for us as we never got asked what she could bring us when dessert time came. — Décor… mehh. We were in the bland square mid dining room area. Everyone who walked in could see us and us them, very exposed and it was not busy at 5:30 so other seating was available. It was very cookie cutter in the setup. — Simplify the name. A similar establishment exists where I live and their pizzas are hard to resist. The 90 seconds they take to cook your mouth water. Its hard to resist them for a 5 minute drive home with carry out boxes. AND their name is authentic in three syllables. How about simplifying to 800 Degrees OR Three Fires? I hoped 800 could break my family from a lifetime carry out chain pizza habit. Unfortunately, the search for quality pizza in a comfortable setting with top notch service in Fort Wayne continues. Go here only if you’re willing to take a chance on what kind of experience you will have.

I always seem to forget about this great pizza place in Fort Wayne! They have many types to choose from and more than just pizza! There’s also a great selection of wines to choose from!

Looking for an upscale pizza date? This is your spot. Every time I have gone to 800 Degrees I have enjoyed my experience. They have a great beer and wine list. Very diverse. The overall look to the place I would describe as modern. Modern but cozy. The open kitchen is awesome. Not visible from the bar, but a treat if you are in the family dining area. Watch your pizza be tossed and baked right in front of your eyes. I recently enjoyed a dinner out with 3 friends. We started off with a Large Caesar salad. We all got a decent amount. I would say it feeds about 3 – 4 comfortably. Not a lot of croutons so if you are croûton fan ask for some extras! We then ordered two pizzas: Carne and Bianca. As a green olive fan I loved the Bianca. All their pizzas have bubbly crust and and thin throughout. The Bianca has a white sauce, mozzarella, green olives, basil, and garlic. I think I was such a fan due to the white sauce versus red sauce. It was very light and flavorful. The Carne is a meat lover’s dream. Topped with pepperoni, sweet sausage, and bacon this pizza fills you up. With the four of us we had 1 piece left over at the end. Our service was good, not great– but I have a hunch our chattering kept him away and made him think we had not looked at the menu. He was also the bartender for the night so his section was busy with the few tables he had and the rail. Our bill split 4 ways was $ 8 a piece. Not bad at all. Drink prices had a wide range from cheaper beer to more expensive wine. Could get pricey if you get a few glasses of wine. Overall I love the atmosphere and who can beat gourmet pizza in a modern space with reasonable prices?

You gotta love craft beers. I don’t so no big draw there. 10 of us hung around in the bar for a hour or so and eventually found a large table and ordered pizza’s. They were great. The staff was very good and allowed us to hang around 45 minutes after they closed. They never said a word and seemed genuinely happy we had a good time. I remember when I was a kid we hated guests who«hung around» after closing time.

It’s just another gimmicky chain restaurant. The food was not my favorite. The price tag did not help either. Service was okay, but they only had to bring us the food. It did take about 40 minutes to get our order. I think having an actual server would have made price more understandable.

By far my favorite pizza place in town! Great craft beer selections and gourmet pizza! The food is delicious and unique. Fun environment– family friendly dining room. Occasional live music in the bar. Highly recommend the mista salad and 800 degrees pizza!

I knew I was in the right place when I saw the cookbooks on the shelves in the bar: Plenty, Mozza, Tartine Bread. Clearly foodies at work here. Roasted Brussels sprouts plus the 800 Degree pizza — both were perfect & made for delicious leftovers the next day. Plus an Indiana craft beer! Will def return next time I’m in Ft Wayne.

EPICPIZZA!!! This was the review my kids wrote. They loved the cheese pizza. Even the picky one liked it. The garlic bread and caprese salad are excellent. The 800* was spicy but not too spicy.

The food was really good but not good for the price point. It was really weird to be seated then need to go to counter and order. The food was brought out in a very timely manner. When the salads where first brought out there was no silverware given and had to ask for it. So it was a little disorganized in that way. The staff was really friendly though. Not a bad place to order food maybe just order to go.

When I’m in town visiting family, we fairly regularly order pizzas. It’s usually something like Pizza Hut due to their preferences, so I was pleasantly surprised when, on my last visit, they suggested this place. Score for local business. We ordered carry out — a few ensalada mistas, and a few pizzas(cheese, quattro formaggio, and carne). When my husband and uncle arrived to pick it up, it came out immediately. Perfect timing! The pizzas were really good! I couldn’t tell much of a difference between the cheese and quattro formaggio but both were good, perfectly textured crust too. The salad was delicious! Loved the dressing. Everyone was really happy with their pizzas. I look forward to trying it again the next time we’re in town for sure.

Awesome, quality food. Always delivers. Always. Solid revolving beer selection. Try the pollo bbq chicken… insane flavor profile. Not into pizza? Get balls deep in their meatballs. The place is just on point and fort wayne is blessed to have this wonderful eatery.

It gets 4 stars for everything but the gluten free pizza crust, which is always over cooked and tastes like baked cardboard. If I didn’t have a dietary restriction, I’m sure my experience would be much better with the regular crust. The toppings are amazing, though, and they do have great appetizers and salads.

Last night, my friends and I were in Fort Wayne, IN. One of them, a native of the town, decided to take us to 800 Degrees. We were sat quickly and waited for about five minutes for our server to arrive and offer us drinks. We decided on what to eat and after the ordeal, the server suggested we try the veggie pizza, which was puzzling because everything we ordered had meat on it. Our Fort Waynian friend requested the crust be a little extra crispy and the server said it wasn’t possible because of «the logistics with the ovens.» …okay. Our food arrived in a reasonably timely fashion. It wasn’t bad. The crust could’ve been a little more cooked though(ugh) and not so doughy(ugh). Maybe just heat the oven up a little more? I know you boast using wood fired ovens, but c’mon, they aren’t that complicated. Finally after the pizza, our friend asked to see the dessert menu. «Well, um, the kitchen is closed.» Seriously? Our wallets are still open and your shutting it off to the world. Any restaurant would keep the kitchen open if there are still guests, or at least let the guest know when the kitchen is closing. But I digest… we got the bill. While we were waiting to pay, I decided to smoke a cigarette. My friends started making fun of me for being a smoker so I walked outside to resume my shameful addiction. A I exited, our server attempted to pander to my shame by explaining how, he too, used to «roll his own bugler.» That’s great. So there you have it. If you want a pizza place that can only cook it one way, closes the kitchen without making sure your satisfied and hires servers with severe addictions, 800 degrees is for you.

Loved it. Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Not the cheapest pizza in town, but you’re paying for fresh, local ingredients, so it’s worth the extra cash. Get a pizza to yourself, and go half and half to try a couple of delicious toppings. BBQ chicken pizza was lovely.

This pizza is hit or miss. The crust is often undercooked and the cheese never reaches the edges. We always order multiple pizzas and some will be better than others. One pizza was Quattro Formaggi, which is a cheese pizza and there was hardly any cheese. I expect it to be covered, it is four cheese after all. There is also a lack of sauce on any pizza making them dry. Too bad, this place has such potential. We are now reluctant to order here, the pizza is too expensive to be this bad.

This place never disappoints! When I’m craving pizza but don’t want to feel guilty this is the place I hit. The atmosphere is great and every pizza we’ve tried has been delicious! The size of the pizza is smaller so my husband and I always get two which is nice to try different ones.

800 Degrees Three Fires is a Fort Wayne upscale pizzeria. This business is located off of Illinois Road in the Shoppes of Illinois plaza. This business is in an excellent location and a very upscale, new building. The parking is behind the building and while it is a minor detail, it adds a bit of uniqueness to the overall experience. 800 Degrees Three Fires is a sister business to 800 Degrees Wood Fires. 800 Degrees Three Fires is an upscale pizza restaurant. This restaurant serves unique and regular pizzas, an arrangement of Italian appetizers, and an array of desserts. The pizzas are cooked in wood fire ovens or a wood hearth. This is where the name Three Fires comes from. The way the pizzas are cooked makes this business stand out. The hearth and ovens give the pizza a fresh taste. 800 Degrees Three Fires is a sit-down restaurant offering small plates, wood grilled entrees, and unique pizzas. There were more positive aspects to my visits than negative. I have visited this restaurant twice and both were very enjoyable. The service was very good and impressive. Both times I went the restaurant was very busy and packed. There was never more than a 10 minute wait to be seated. The restaurant itself is very classy and clean. There is a lot of seating available and there is no «bad seat» in the restaurant. After ordering the pizzas arrived fairly quickly and were hot and freshly baked. I tried a few different types of pizza each time I was there. There are a variety of different combinations to order from. It is possible to order one pizza per person or order one for two people. I tried 3 different pizzas the times that I was there and they were all very good and each had unique flavors and tastes to them. Each pizza listed is different and there is a pizza to fit everyone’s different wants. Another positive side to this restaurant was that there were a lot of people working at the same time. If a customer needed help there was never any trouble finding a kind waiter or waitress to help. While the overall experience was very enjoyable there were a few things I would possibly change. Even though the service was very good and quick, there were times it was too quick. The waiters would be very busy and very quick and it was a little bit on the unprofessional side. There was one instance where the waitress was dealing with three tables and brought two of the wrong drinks. The only thing I would change would be the waitress’ amount of work. As I said above, there were more than enough workers there but not all of them were doing anything to help the waitress’ out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere is suitable for all ages and types of people. There are many different unique versions of pizza but they also have the traditional pizzas as well. This restaurant would be good for kids and families, couples, business dinners, or teens going out for the night. The fact that this restaurant is so versatile and able to appease all different types of people is what I love most about 800 Degrees Three Fires. There were way more positives to my visits than negatives. This is a restaurant I would go to for a Friday night date, a night out with friends, a family dinner, a work gathering, or just a night I didn’t feel like cooking. There is nothing I would change about the restaurant itself. The business seems very well organized and is run very well. The workers were all very upbeat and happy. It is a kind atmosphere and very family friendly. 800 Degrees Three Fires gets a five star rating in my book. The service was great, the people were friendly and kind, the restaurant was clean, and the food was incredible!

Nothing to complain about. Pizza was great. We got the vegetarian pizza which had goat cheese, zucchini, etc… not ur typical vegetarian pizza. Crust was great. Also, got a cheese pizza. Can’t go wrong with cheese pizza. Service was good. Prices not bad either. I liked it and will be happy to come back.
