Here we go… I’m writing this review as a former employee of this establishment, and not a happy one. I’ll try and keep this short. In a nutshell, this place was the most OPENLY racist, homophobic, anti-Islamic, my eyes and ears have ever witnessed. The staff is mostly made up of extremely hostile white Midwestern bigots. And they’re proud to let you know. Anyone not them, not welcome. I’ve seen fellow employees, who were either Homosexual, Transgender, Muslim openly put down by other staff members. Yes management knew. No they did nothing. It was encouraged. Do not shop at Sears. Let this place fade into oblivion with the Confederate Flag. It still bothers me to this very minute, that I couldn’t do more for the poor souls tormented by my coworkers. I hope this helps.

I was shopping around for a weight set I noticed they had the same product as MC Sports but it required me to be a member. I said I wanted it for the same price with out being a member(price match). They said they would after they would after I gave them my personal information. I went to MC Sports, paid cash and walked out with the product. GJ Sears, your business model sucks.

Everything was delivered on-time and damage free, however there were a few glitches. 1. The five orifices needed to convert from natural to propane gas were just floating around in the oven box when delivered. Because it was snowing, and they weren’t in a bag, they scattered on the driveway before anyone knew what was happening. Luckily we found 4 of them quickly, and the 5th was located several minutes later in the box. 2. Schedule, cancel, schedule, cancel, etc… Because sears doesn’t allow their technicians to perform the LP conversion, I was initially considering having 2 folks come in. One to hookup the dishwasher(copper tubing… not my favorite.) and another to do the LP on the oven/range. Well, after our inducer motor on the furnace went out a week prior to the appliances being delivered, I spoke to the guy fixing it and he said he could do everything… so, I canceled the other guys(sears included) and just had him do it. Worked out fine. Advice to you… make sure you check in the boxes before they haul them away, and get a local guy to do your installs…1 service call is cheaper than 2!
