The Bride to Be

I opted out of running the bridal shop circuit for my own wedding so when my best friend asked me to tag along on gown appointments, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Bride to Be was our first stop in our visit to Fort Wayne, a trip we thought would be running through the motions for mom. Boy were we wrong.
My assumptions changed the minute we walked into the shop. The owner and pleasant salesperson greeted us warmly and enthusiastically. The shop was welcoming with an open design and ornate details. There was an excellent selection of gowns, not too overwhelming but a diverse selection to suit all wedding styles.
What I enjoyed most was being able to browse and pull dresses with the stylist. I also appreciated the care put into making the bride look as she would on her wedding day. Samples do not fit most women so I appreciated the in-​room time adjusting the dress for the bride. Every dress my friend tried on looked beautiful on her, despite the need for alterations.
All in all, the staff made our experience enjoyable. Having ‘the’ dress, the bridesmaid dresses, the mother of the bride dress and an amazing deal was just icing on the cake. Even with the amazing boutiques of Chicago surrounding me daily, I would still recommend The Bride to Be.
