I’ve been coming to this location since it was built in the Apple Glen Walmart parking lot to replace the awkward located Illinois /​Jefferson blvd location, which was always a problem location due to traffic issues.
I have to admit I am a fan of Wendy’s vs. the other «burger chains» and I live in Aboite — so this is one of 2 Wendy’s locations I frequent (the other being West Jefferson at Liberty Mills Road). Service is excellent and fast. This location has self serve drinks including sweet and unsweetened ice tea — upgrade drinks need refills at the counter.
My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich, and yes I am a Wendy’s chili junkie. Honestly both are for dietary reasons and if you check the nutrition numbers, you might be pleasantly surprised!
If there was 1 key positive to say about this location that really stands out, it’s that I have never had an order problem or food quality problem of any kind. Ever. For a fast food location, maybe the Pope should be alerted! Also of the 2 television sets, one is on FOX news, the other on CNN… gotta please everybody regardless of which you feel is a wingnut.
