This place IS HORRIBLE! (CUE LITTLE RICHARD VOICE)!!!

Fries: Weird!!! Cold AND crispy! Also,
EXTREMELY THICK! AND no salt!
Burger: meat was DRY AND HARD WITH NO
SEASONING. IT HAD NO FLAVOR: AT
ALL! It seemed precooked and then
seared for 10 mins… HORRIBLE
MALT: It was not sweet. The ice cream tasted cheap and the malt was clumpy, sticky and off-​putting. It was like salad dressing… With a cheesy after taste… not good… yet…I finished it! (You know I love my Ranch!)
As you may tell, I did not enjoy this place. I will not go back. Do NOT GO HERE.
We may go to Mars and view first hand the mystery of the Cosmos. We may cure cancer and demonstrate our mastery over genetic coding and selection. We may even field a season of American Idol, the Voice (Et. AL.) in which the performers have a modicum of talent. But please my good friend. If you love your mother, watch for the Swallows in Capistrano, are a good American, and hail from TEJAS: DO NOT LOOK FOR A BURGER HERE. IT’S NOT POSSIBLE

I love burger box but this one was ridiculous. When I walked in the manager or owner jumped up and ran to the thermostat to get the AC going. As I got to the counter I realized it was almost as hot inside as outside and not because it was broke but because he was trying to save a penny. I said to him man it’s really hot in here, he never commented just walked away. It’s Texas in July it’s 103 outside when I walk in a public place I should feel AC hitting my face, if you wanna save a penny do it at home this is a public place and you should have it a comfortable temperature. Not to mention the people cooking my food are sweating, how appetizing does that sound. I felt terrible for the girl at the counter she was sweating like she’d been out mowing and apologized to me for it. It’s not her fault that her boss is a cheap ass. The burger was fine and the ladies were really friendly but I ate in the truck with AC blowing my hair back.

Usually I enjoy the food from Burger Box but today it was an absolute mess. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries. I did not check my food until I got home and when I checked the bag i realized it was all wrong. Instead I received a hamburger and cheese fries. You can imagine my disappointment when I received something I didn’t even order. I was in a rush so I didn’t have time to take it back. I am extremely disappointed. This is usually a go to stop when I don’t want to drive to Camp Bowie but i think I will have to now.

Terrible. Had bacon cheeseburger. Thinnest beef patty I’ve ever seen. Seemed like it was cooked hours ago. Should have just bought a sandwich from the gas station next door. Would have saved a few bucks.

Good grease spoon. Can’t go wrong with anything here. If it can be fried it’s probably on the menu. Also try the cakes. pretty good for 99 cents.

Still 3 stars. I noticed it showed as being under new management, which I believe is more like «mom and dad gave or sold me the restaurant». I was excited to see they had expanded their menu and was eager to try their grilled chicken sandwich. Unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. The bun was twice as large as the chicken and paper thin. Several bites were of bread only. Then when I finally got a mouthful with chicken, the chicken was so thin I couldn’t really even taste it. Very disappointed.
My friend got their bacon cheeseburger and he liked it, the flavors are usually right there, however I did notice that the burgers are also very thin now as well. I personally want some substance to my burger, but they are still good.
We split a Philly cheesesteak as well, testing the new menu items and it was just ok, but then again, it is hard to get it made right outside of Philly, so can’t complain much there.
The fries are still the nice crisp crinkle fries and I enjoyed them very much. I ordered a side of the Jalapeño Poppers and they were excellent with the ranch dipping sauce they came with. I believe the cheese was cream cheese and a nice size jalapeño inside, perfectly fried with a nice crisp outside, worth the cost.
The sides Here, I have enjoyed. Ultimately, if I was after a decent grilled chicken sandwich, or a nice juicy burger, I’d be unlikely to venture farther than Whataburger.

I love this place for a quick burger and especially their crinkle cut fries. So few people cook those kind anymore. I realize they’re not freshly made, but they are always fried just right. And you can’t beat the price!

This place really ain’t bad. My husband was leery, but I likened it to a cheaper Burger Street to get him to pull up. Crinkle fires aren’t disappointing, either. BB also makes the attempt to have burgers with some panache, like a mushroom one. They also have Blue Bell ice cream! A small sugar cone of the stuff goes for $ 1.29.

Desperately hungry and saw the Burger Box sitting on the side of the road where nothing else could fill my immediate need. In the midst of a burger quest, why not? Although a little dilapidated, that’s sometimes where the best comes from, and my thought is always that its obviously still in business, so it can’t be bad.
Essentially a drive-​up kind of Sonic meets Dairy Queen, the food was made upon my arrival, so it was certainly fresh. The fries were alright, and the burger was much the same. I’m not a huge fan of piles of cold, shredded lettuce on my warm burgers. Its a textural & temperature issue for me. In the end, it was alright, just alright. Far many places that I would likely go first to meet my style and tastes… Otherwise, probably not a bad place for others though…

Although I’ve only driven through, I must say I love their bacon cheeseburgers ! I don’t know what they do, to make them so tasty but I love ‘em. They also serve malts and shakes and many items on their menu. Almost like a DQ but better. Burger Box is also a favorite of my friends and when we are all gathered at the pool, someone always wants a burger box burger. The race is on.

Came in here because was too far away from big corporate burger places and didn’t want to turn around or go to the second or first busiest street (hulen) I went in to find a nice lady who was alone and was counting the ice cream and we ordered and was very suprised in wich the burgers were not as amazing but average but passable!
As we came in the drive-​tru got busy and we were shocked because when we drove up it was empty and then all the sudden it was busy!
Overall it was a good place to eat and they have specials on some days and have blue bell ice cream!:)
