This place was clean and had a nice selection when I went there today. They were having a super sale where all of their clearance you could fit into a bag was $ 15. I got a lot of cute brand name clothing(like BCBG) for next to nothing. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone else trying to look cute while on a budget!

I wasn’t too impressed with Cloths Mentor. Their clothing is reasonably prices, but I think you can get new clothes on clearance for the same price. They tout having designer names, but the Only designers I could find were Michael Kors, Coach, and ATL. Nothing wrong with those designers, just not high end.

I dropped off a Coach purse(new with tags), a Brighton purse(new w/tags, Coach sandals, Cole Hahn shoes, Banana Republic tank top, Gap sweater, etc, etc., they accepted a Kathy Ireland purse I purchased at TJ Maxx that was it. Every piece of designer clothing and shoes they said would not sale at this location. DONOTWASTETIME shopping here or dropping off your gently used items. Totally ridiculous! Location is full of Forever 21 — $ 5.00 t-shirts. Yikes!

We dropped off some clothes to be reviewed for resale… the ladies seemed nice at first. They said they would take it for a review but wouldn’t call. We had to call them. Then. took NOTHING from us. We had Express, The Limited, Victoria Secret, BCBG, BeBe, and more. like really? All of it had been dry cleaned and in great shape. Not a good place to sell too. maybe buy from.

I’d give them less stars if I could! I dropped off my clothing with them last Wednesday April 16th at 4:30pm for review. In the basket were some designer items, some sundresses, and a few work/business blouses. I signed the form and gave them my phone number. I read the form which said if they werent claimed when they contacted me the clothes would be donated. Fair enough. They said come back in one hour ‘be ready… I leave and I come back in an hour, still not ready. No big deal I’ll come back later in the week if I can. So I called today because they are only open til 6pm and though I live in Fort Worth I work in Dallas until 5 each day so I rarely get to Ft. Worth by 6. I wanted to see if my fiancé could pick up my clothes and see if I had gotten any money. Easter weekend was this past weekend and we were out of town so I couldnt try them then. The woman informed me today 4÷22÷2014 that my clothes had been GIVENAWAY. She said they had contacted me several times. I HAVENOCALLS from them, I HAVENOVOICEMAILS from them. No missed numbers from any business in Ft Worth. Nothing. Yet, she has records they have contacted me several times. Also, they were not going to let my fiancé pick up the items as he doesnt have my drivers license. My clothes were there for 4 full business days and now they are gone. I am not upset because I wanted the clothes. I am frustrated because someone says they called my phone multiple times and it never rang but its working perfectly. I am frustrated because it hasnt even been one full business week. The woman was also less than friendly and there was no customer service attitude. I am also frustrated because what kind of place says a Michael Kors black tweed vest isnt worth anything when its been worn approximately 3 times. Whatever.

My mother & I enjoyed our first trip & we’ll be back soon. Similar to Platos closet but more for women instead of teens.

This review is only based upon the pre-opening for inquiry minds and intakes. I’m always in this nearby area and one day after shopping I happen to see this new store. Deciding to take a closer look for full details on the new addition to Overton Park strip I noticed that the store was mostly bare with a few people working inside. Signs on the door stated they were open for intake of items so I went in and was welcomed with a couple of friendly faces that ask how they could help. Store was very nice and clean with newly polished rolls of racks awaiting designer deeds of fashion and all the essentials prepared for opening. Approaching Clerk #1 with an inquiry about the store she gave me the history mentioning that the owners were the same as Platos plus a well know childrens re-sale store and that the very first store started in Ohio before coming to Texas. Clerk #2 which I think was the manager was so informative and trying to make sure everything was working and done in proper order. Clerk #3 seemed very excited about the store and opening with share some pointers on what sets them apart from your average re-sale store. With the history I think CM will be a better store due to the fact that they are more organized. Catering only to upper designer women slightly used clothes, coats, shoes, purses, perfumes etc. They have a more upgraded system for a much easier pay-out without a long wait. You can drop items off and they will text or call you when ready if you don’t won’t to wait. Items are being accepted now from 10:00am until 6:00pm daily. The store opens to the public in September 2012. Make sure to sign-up for their Grand Opening celebration and special invitations for donated customers. Not being a big fan of these type of stores makes me wanting to be on a fanship bases with CM for real! Welcome to the neighborhood and I hope the success will prosper for many years to come. When the doors open to the public I will be anxiously waiting to see what new additions to my closet that I can get a good bargain on. **LADIESANDGENTS, «TRUST» YOUWILLLIKETHISSTORE!
