The Chicken fried chicken was great, my sister enjoyed her cobb salad. The restaurant was busy due to the Christmas season. The service was fast and friendly

I’m sure memory serves me right and this restaurant started in the metroplex. I’m not spending long on this one. Let me say I expected better. As it’s well known though expectations and reality don’t always intersect. I got directed to the bar for my order. I’m standing opposite the register and 6 people are yucking it up. I proceeded to walk over to where the register was, picked up a menu and waited. After let’s say five minutes I got acknowledged. The young guy with the lifesaver earrings asks anyone help you? Come on bruh you saw me move from one area of the bar to directly in your path… ain’t it obvious that I want something? I replied no, before I could respond with what I wanted the guy says«I’ll let you look over that menu and be right back. {Disclaimer} After lifesaver left a young lady came by 3 minutes later asking if I was helped and being modest replied sure your coworker is gonna take care of me. Well bull after ten minutes and watching two female employees gab about menu items I asked one of them to take my order. She took it and 2 minutes later here comes lifesaver. I guess he needed credit for the tab so although she took my order he put it in. .awww teamwork. Anyway I got our food and have to say I’ve never had chicken tenders that small at cotton patch. My Wife had the soup and sandwich combo. She actually liked the tortilla soup and said it was some of the best she’s eaten(I’ll take her word). We also got rolls which are always good. Junky customer service and a dirty dining area does not a restaurant make. I hope for retraining to sweep the place and people who are proud of doing well change the culture of that place. Mehhhhh from me.

I used to dine at Cotton Patch or get it to go about once a week. My grandparents loved it. It’s a nice place to go when you want a family atmosphere or to keep it simple. They have a lot of your comfort foods, but they also have a lot of healthy options as well. Then their food became inconsistent, their service started getting slower… and slower, and prices started going up. One thing about CP is that I really like their chips, queso, and salsa. The salsa is chunky with a kick and the queso is white with a kick. They say it’s award winning. It tastes good though. Their strawberry pecan salad is really good. I used to get their grilled pork chops all the time. At one time they were $ 9.99 for 2, but are now $ 12.99. They have other healthy options such as grilled salmon and grilled chicken.

Food was great. Staff was a little on the«moody» side when we first arrived. Later we asked several times for crackers, more napkins, and water. It was Father’s Day and didn’t seem too busy so not sure what the problem was with asking multiple times. Prices not bad for the quality of food.

Food was great service not so great! I may give them another chance if I can experience another server because the food was good.

Food was good, wait staff was friendly, service was slow. It took over 10 minutes, after everyone else had their entrée, for my child to get her dinner. We had a large party of 17 people, split into 7 checks. This was very confusing for our poor waiter and took us over 40 minutes after our meal was finished to get the checks straightened out. The manager ended up comping one check and giving us a stack of free appetizer coupons.

Good casual café with always hot food. Don’t order the chicken fried steak unless you don’t mind grissel in every bite

Slow service and so so food. Kind of a sad situation as this place could be so much better. Makes me think management doesn’t give a damn. Since it is so hard to get customers through the door, why don’t they do something to get customers to come back. Went with family. Based on previous experiences with this chain would never come here.

Poor, poor can I say poor service! First the host and hostess were not seating the customers by first come first serve. Secondly, they would not sit more than two tables to a waiter. So half of the restaurant was open with a twenty minute wait. YES, 20 mins on a Sunday lunch rush! Once seated the area was congested for your group so we asked to move and they refuse. So we left! Don’t except me to come back and I recommend you don’t got their either! This place have gone from ok to the worst! I do not recommend this location.

First visit here. Basic food, over cooked, service was good. Had fish and chips with sweet potato fries(+$ 1). Basket and iced tea was $ 12.

Good home style food and check on specials. The yellow squash was too sweet for me — like they added sugar — still nice friendly wait staff.

First time here great menu with some a good selection and great service. The drinks were a little high but, it was an all around good restaurant and I would go back.

Awful. God awful. Service, food quality, and the way they run their business. Blew $ 40 on one of the shittiest meals I’ve ever had.

I had the Double Steak-burger with Cheese. It was not good at all. The Burger tasted just like the frozen Gourmet Burgers we got at Walmart and I couldn’t stand the terrible spice taste and threw them away. If you like a Frozen Walmart Gourmet Burger and all the help staring at you and asking you how things are every 90 seconds, then this place might be for you.

I’m giving this café a five star rating for two reasons. First, I had a great experience. Secondly, to make up for the lousy, irrational reviews I’ve just read. So R. D is going to give two stars because of ketchup? God Bless America. Ed is going to use language like«STUPIDGIRL» and Michael did not even eat the food. He asked the hostess a question and she answered him. On to my review… we arrived right as they were opening on a Sunday. I flinched a bit, because I thought staff might give us some flak. They didn’t. They were unbelievably welcoming. The service was so phenomenal I felt like I should have paid more. Our waiters name was Taylor, he was attentive, prompt and professional. We had several staff offer to refill our beverages. I could actually see the bus boy watching the dining room to see if he was needed. Honestly, this is the best service experience I have received in a very long time. Also, they were so sweet and accommodating to the older crowd, I kinda got teary eyed… keep up the good work!

I usually don’t review chain restaurants, not many are worth my effort to comment. Cotton Patch is worth a few words. I am surprised to see the poor reviews on here, my experiences have only been good and sometimes real good. I am impressed that most of the staff though quite young are very polite, accomodating and also cute, hehe. I only come here for chicken fried steak and they do that well, w/two sides their is no room for dessert. My wife usually has the grilled pork chop and she always says hers is very good and that is coming from an experienced cook. We will continue our visits to CPC and catch their«deals» which makes for a cheap dinner.

I gave it a three star due to the server. Her name was Sara and was very professional. She always had my glass of tea full.

FOOD– its ok nothing special but its good. PRICE– hmm not bad about average for CFSw/2 sides $ 9.99 but the cheese fries $ 7.99 cost nearly as much as the CFS so its pretty much worthless to even order that because the CFS meal comes with two sides. i could barely finish it. OVERALL– I dont get it? whats the point of ordering an Appetizer if you get the main course meal at the same time! So i showed up at exactly 230pm and no waiting time we were seated by 2:33 and took our drink and appetizer order by 2:35. now we got our drinks(water only) by 2:40 and the appetizer was sent out by 3:15pm. Right as i was about to take a bite from the appetizer the waitress dropped off my main course. I looked at her confused… i touched the appetizer plate and it was lukewarm !!STUPIDGIRLFORGOTABOUTOURAPPETIZER! but instead of her giving us an apology she tried to play it off and i knew something was wrong. There’s no reason to even touch the appetizer because i didnt want my chicken fried steak to get cold so i had to choose and i chose the main course. maybe ill come back and try this place again but they really should train the waitresses better and teach them how to spread the food time because those bacon cheese fries went to waste and to try to microwave those fries is just gross.

Went back again. Meal still wasn’t anything special but the beer was nice and cold and my waiter was definitely not bland or boring looking ;-)

I had the ribeye and it was fantastic. My wife had the salmon caesar salad and she said it was great. They really keep the rolls coming here. Even though this is a new location, they seem to have their act together already. Our waiter was Joseph and he was very attentive and professional.
