Not all cupcakes are equal. This place really does them right… just the right size, perfect amount of frosting. The cupcakes are not over sugary, and the frosting is of excellent quality. I like the variety of flavors. If you want to try them all, get several mini cupcakes. The prices are reasonable. The inside is pleasant, with lots of room if you have a group. The owner is so pleasant, she really loves what she does, and the result is delicious cupcakes!

So easy to work with! Oddly enough many bakeries have odd hours that do not accommodate someone who works the cliché 8 hour days– but their hours are very easy to work with. Placed my cupcake order online, had acknowledgement of it shortly after. I even called to modify my order and they were more than happy to do so. Cupcakes were AMAZING– got them for a birthday and everyone was super impressed. Will use again! UPDATE: I went there about a month ago to get some more deliciousness– and I was so sad to find out the place looks to be closed?! The website will not pull up for me anymore, so I’m not sure if they are just doing some remodeling or what…

I’ve been here a few times since they opened. My first impression was that the cupcakes looked plain in comparison to other shops, however the pricing was cheaper. Some places charge a premium price for plain and simple, which was not the case here. I also liked that they offered both regular sized and mini cupcakes. Pleasantly, on this visit and others, I found the staff to be very friendly. However, I purchased a strawberry cupcake and found it to be ordinary. My favorite cupcakery is out of my way and more expensive so, a few months later I decided to give this place another try. I was happy to see they were offering«gourmet» cupcakes and new flavor options. On this occasion I selected an Apple N Spice cupcake. It was to die for! I was more than pleased and thought this placed had improved since opening. Unfortunately, I’ve found this is not the case. I recently returned again and purchased a Red Velvet as well as a mini Strawberry, both with cream cheese frosting. My boyfriend got 2 mini Chocolate with buttercream frosting. The Red Velvet was light in texture but the cocoa flavor was too overpowering. It also lacked that melt in your mouth feel that a good red velvet should have. Although red velvet is one of my favorite flavors, I did not want to finish the cupcake. The strawberry cake was not bad, but it, like most I’ve had, was nothing spectacular(I keep trying to find one that is). I found the cream cheese frosting to be awefull. I couldn’t pinpoint it but something was definitely off; maybe it had lemon in it? It was quite bitter. The chocolate cake had the bland flavor of a boxed cake mix, however the buttercream frosting tasted like an Oreo cookie filling; it was very tasty! Even with the holidays past us, they still had Apple N Spice available. I regretted not getting that instead of the red velvet I was craving. Disappointingly, I think I’ll be staying away from here in the future, except when I’m wanting that Apple N Spice cupcake. Even the gourmet cupcakes don’t look impressive and they have yet to get some of the basic flavors down.

I should have written this review months ago – just plain forgot. My husband and I frequent this place at least once a week(sometimes, embarrassingly, 2−3times a week!). The owners and family are great – we love chatting with them and they remember their regulars, which is nice. They have plenty of seating, which is nice, too. Okay, cupcakes are really, really good! We have tried out many cupcake places and we always come back to this one. Husband only eats the vanilla on vanilla but I’ve tried just about all of them and con’t to try new ones as they come out. I have not been disappointed. My favs: strawberry gourmet, coconut and the sugar cookie with buttercream frosting. I find the prices are competitive and less than some shops: $ 2 for normal size and $ 1 for petite. They do not skimp on the frosting and that’s my favorite part. *they do cakes and special orders, too. I just haven’t had an occasion to use them for that, yet.

I am not sure I ever understood the hype about cupcakes until my coworker bought me one of their delicious treats for my birthday. I must say, I’m hooked. Is it more expensive to buy their cupcakes for my kids’ birthday parties than to just purchase a cake? Yes. Is it worth every penny to satisfy the tastes of picky kids and watch them squeal with delight when they are surprised with extraordinarily tasty frosting, moist cake and in some cases delicious fruit filling? YES(in all caps) I highly recommend the Chocolate Strawberry Gourmet cupcake and my son could attest to the delicious Peanut Butter Cup flavor. In fact I’ve yet to taste one cupcake that is less than perfection so that is why I heartily recommend them to ANYONE. Of course once the word gets out, I would imagine that my favorite little quiet spot for cupcakes will not have as much time for me when I go in, but it’s worth it to spread the word and make sure they are here to stay!
