Googled this bar because it was close to our hotel. The cigarette butts scattered throughout the parking lot should’ve been red flag #1 however my gf & I decided to overlook that which was a mistake. As you walk in you realize it’s a seat yourself restaurant. Which is okay because it had that dive bar feel. Our waitress was prompt & the food was actually not bad. They played good music on the speakers but that’s where the positives end. The bar is full of regulars who ALL smoke. The bar smells like an ashtray. The only thing that will blow you away is the cigarette smoke & the swearing between the regulars & the trashy bartenders & waitresses. Was a waste of time even for 1 beer. Will never go again & you shouldn’t either

Walked in to get a bite, sat down, waited 10 minutes… Several waitresses walked by several times, not greeted at any time. Walked out hungry and parched.

Cheapest eats anywhere! Worst food anywhere! I’d rather eat at at street vendor in Munbai India. It’s a lot safer than eating here. Music and drinks are good though. But I can get that anywhere…

Live band karaōke was fun… if you don’t mind waiting forever to sing one song and putting up with the female karaōke host’s poor PR skills and lack of enthusiasm for the newbies, who haven’t yet«earned» her attention. It’s obvious that she has«favorites» with whom she gossips, skips her favs ahead of the rest(or upon major protest) and has an obvious power complex. However, the band members are very professional and talented — making the experience of singing-one-song-all-night, somewhat worth it. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. If you don’t like smoke, I wouldn’t go there.

The Wednesday night band for karaōke is hot and talented. The sound is well balanced and complement the singers. However, the chick running the rotation has no clue how to manage a rotation properly. If you get there after the first rotation you’ll be waiting a long time before she cycles in any new singers. They also take several breaks that are very long. Drink specials are inconsistent and the regular prices are high. This could be my regular spot if these issues were corrected. However, chances are I won’t be back to find out. You’re better off waiting for the weekend to go to Texas Billiards or Sparks on Rufe Snow. Another thing of note, this place occasionally has outdoor music events that are so loud they disturb the neighborhoods for blocks around until late hours of the night, even on a weeknight.

Went to get a bite to eat and a drink… smells like an ash tray and it gets worse as you go in. We left, could not take the smell. Can’t tell you about the service or food.

The bar Is great and the Wednesday karaōke is cool except the female DJ is kinda a snob and makes the. experience not as good as it should be.

I stopped off here before meeting up with some friends for St Patty’s day thinking this place would have a good vibe. I found another run down bar instead. The service here was pretty good, but it’s hard to say when there was only a few people there at the time. The strong point of this place was the prices. Wish i could comment on the food, but i didn’t get to try anything. I’m cool with the run down dive bar feel, i’m not cool with a run down bar that just needs a good cleaning. I’ve been in some nasty bathrooms, but this has to be by far one of the worst. There really isn’t any reason for this in the middle of the day, but you could tell it hasn’t been clean in several weeks. I don’t have much good to say about this place other than the prices of the beer, but when it comes down to it i don’t mind paying a little bit more to have a place that is clean.

Went to Dublin’s Square tonight to sing with a band as advertised. I had my babe on the list for 2 hours. Not only was my name marked off the list without anyone asking me but when they corrected it and actually for me up to sing they had none of the songs I asked to sing. There have been better bands there too sing with. This band tonight was terrible… I doubt I will go back

As a former Hooters manager, I always loved the story of how they hired the first Hooters Girl(Lynn Austin). If I were to ever open my own bar, I would steal Meagan from Dublin as my first bartender. Ashley and Jackie would be next! Speaking of management, Dublin can’t seem to get that right; however, promoting Jackie was a step in the right direction. Food is good, too much smoke for my virgin lungs. Bay doors open in good weather helps. All about Meagan, she’s the best!

A real bar most of the time. I say most of the due to the fact that they have DJ occasionally. Most of the time when they show there is country music playing in the background and then it’s a punch in the face to hip-hop somthinerother. Otherwise the live music is some of the best in the area. The food is very good. O’Malloy wings are hands sown the best around. The burgers, appetizers, fish and Guinness stew are all great. Yep, Guinness on tap along with other choices. The staff is awesome. Its cool to bring well behaved dog on the patio. There are ample amounts of tv’s. This is the place to be if you’re a Bears fan. Its smokey inside. Its a bar, it should be smokey in a bar. There is not a whole lot for kids to do here, so if you like to get drunk and let your krumkrunchers run free and annoy the patron then this is the place for your worthless ass. If you hate smoke, them there is not much here for ya. Your complaints are mostly annoying to everyone else in the place.

They have a solid draft beer selection and the appetizers are good. A good place to stop and avoid traffic after work. Definitely come back on Fridays(or any day) when work takes you to the edge and need to decompress.

Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Our waitress and food were both great. It can get pretty smokey if it’s a crowded night so if you aren’t okay with that then you’ll want to steer clear. Really the only problem I had was that when I walk into an «Irish Pub», I expect to hear Irish, or at least some form of Celtic, music and they were playing country. Don’t get me wrong, I love country music, it’s just not right for this atmosphere. Overall a really good place though!

Great local bar. Great burgers and bar food. Live music on thursdays and saturdays. Tvs all over. All Bears fans during football season. If you can’t take a real bar with smoke, go elsewhere during the winter.

Yes sometimes it’s smoky inside, it’s a smoking bar, and you nonsmokers have every other bar in town and now you want the last one, go somewhere else and let the smokers have one…

We came by to have a great time, grab some drinks and food. We arrived and noticed how smokey the place was and decided we would stick it out. Drink prices were a little high and food was ok. We left and went next door to BoomerJack’s and had a Dublin employee chase us down in the parking lot and told us if we went to BoomerJack’s or Twin Peaks, they would tow our car. ??? Who does that? We dropped $ 80.00 and this is what we get? We have parked at other places on the block and we just hop place to place, it’s what makes this neighborhood so cool. Will definitely never be back to a place that would tow your vehicle.

Came here the other night for My boyfriend’s bother’s birthday. We were trying to find a bar that was close to home where we could have fun. All I can say is, this place is extremely smokey. It’s as if all of the smokers in the area come here for their weekly meetings. As soon as you walk in, it’s a cloud of smoke and it’s everywhere. If your not okay with smoking, or being around it… This is not the place for you. (I left smelling like an ashtray, from head to toe). The band that they had that night was decent, the took requests and they were pretty good. Some songs they played they completely butchered, and some they actually did a great job at. They were playing songs from the 90’s the entire night, which I don’t mind… But for it having been the weekend I was hoping for more dancing music… Which brings me to the dance floor, which was the cutest littlest thing. It fit maybe 6 people comfortably. It was so small that when we tried to dance we constantly had to move to avoid hitting each other. The server we had was also a bit of an airhead, she constantly was disappearing and couldn’t figure out hoe to separate the tabs even when they were explained to her really slowly. Overall, I was not impressed. I definitely will not be going back.

Decent, but not great. Very smokey, lame, loud music. Really not an Irish Pub. At least not an Irish Pub I frequent.

Never been here before and I propably never will be back. The prices of drinks are bit steep for the area and what you get, kinda weak a bit. The staff is dressed cute but some of the ladies need to rethink their skirtshortness. I dont like starvecones or bimbos, but just saying. The food on the other hand was AWESOME. i would just get the food, we had quessadillas(ordered veggie but got meat with it…) and fish and chips. Both were great. just the drinks. meeeh Live band was great, just bit loud.
