Came here for a late night drink with the friends. The drinks are pretty good, I didn’t pay for the tab so I can tell if it was decently priced. We only ordered appetizers but they were actually pretty fulfilling and satisfying. Service lacked a few points due to how busy it was but the simple fact that we weren’t even greeted at least 10 minutes after sitting wasn’t pleasant. We literally had to request a server repeatedly. All in all, I would go again but don’t expect too much improvement.

It’s a bar that serves food. It was totally what you would expect. Great service and a good time.

The drink prices are on the mark and the food is pretty good as long as you don’t mind eating in an ashtray. For a restaurant not to provide a non-smoking section is unbelievable. Might return for a drink, but certainly not to eat.

We visited with a large group so I realize that due to logistics there will be snafus, but this visit was a near disaster. There were 14 of us, so our group was large, but certainly not unmanageable for a large establishment such as this. We were assigned only one waitperson and she must have been new because the service could not have been any worse. First, drink orders were mixed up/forgotten. Then after a LONG wait, appetizers came out at same time as main course even though we asked for them before entrees. One of the entrees was never brought out. This person just«borrowed» from others’ plates so we wouldn’t have to wait so long for it to be redone. The missing item showed up the bill, but it was on someone else’s bill. One person’s bill was never brought out. The manager comp’d that one. We’ve been to Fox and Hound before but not the one in Fort Worth. Perhaps bad day, not sure, but was not a good experience. And then there’s the smoking. Fort Worth still allows smoking inside so if cigarette smoke bothers you while eating, I recommend staying away.

We had our fantasy football draft here Sunday nite, place was dead. We had a private room so all the lil boys could laugh and play. Drinks were served quickly and often. Our server was cool, and she was really good about giving crap back to SOME of the guys who were giving her crap.(I like that!) DONOT order the pizza on the appetizers, unless your a fan of Totino’s frozen job. Blah! After 3 hours of draftin’ and drinkin’, the pizza actually tasted better cold. This is a good place to drink, be loud and watch many TV’s! Did I mention not to get the pizza? Better not! Lil love warning from yours truly.

Came here for the drinks, not the food. Bartender was chatty and friendly. The night I was there, there was a UFC fight so there was a cover. Supposedly, there are pool tables on the second floor.

This was the first time I visited this location and the set up on this place is pretty cool. Its located inside an old historic building that has been remodeled. The service was okay, nothing really that stood out above its competition. The food was really good and a great value. I ordered the Alumni Club which is served on sour dough bread. I was impressed on how good the sandwich is and would most likely order it again. Also on this evening the restaurant had $ 2 draft beers on sale all night long which was a plus. Overall, not a bad place to hit up with a sports bar theme. I think this would be a great hang out for the co-workers after work.

I like this place. It is HUGE! They have a nice menu featuring all kinds of bar foods. It seemed to me that most of the menu was American food… even though it says English Pub… I’m a little confused. Anyway, they have a ton of TVs so it’s great for catching a game. Apparently you can smoke in here too… I don’t smoke but I could see how some people would appreciate this. I thought the service was great on a busy night. I wanted to eat everything on the menu… but I settled for a cookie with ice cream on top, yum.

Took a group of 8 here on a Saturday night. We were pleased to see that it wasn’t busy and we could easily grab a table. We grabbed a large table by the front window. After sitting for 15 minutes, our waitress, Crystal, arrived. She took our drink order, which consisted of 3 vodka sodas, a mojito, a Stella, and 1 large Tower Bud Light. She said she would return for our food order. She came back for the food order without the drinks, and we ordered an appetizer combo platter and another appetizer for the table. After another 15 minutes, she arrived with 3 vodka sodas and 2 Boddingtons. No mojito, no Stella, no Bud Light tower… and 2 beers we didn’t order. We corrected her order and she said she would be right back. While still waiting, our food came before she had even been able to get more than half the table served their drinks. We then said we wanted to leave, and to forget about the drink orders. She then said, «I told you not to get the Bud Light tower and you should just get bottles. It’s easier and faster.» Well, she never told us to get bottles instead of the tower, and how difficult is it for the bartender to pour draft beer? She then return with 2 to-go boxes for the sub par appetizer food. She asked if we wanted to-go boxes to which we said no. She then absurdly said, «I mean, you don’t have to take the food home if you don’t want to.» Clearly we don’t «have» to take the food. All in all, we were there for 45 minutes on a slow Saturday night. 3⁄8 got their drinks served to them in that amount of time. The waitress told us that we should have ordered bottled beers instead of draft to make it «easier». $ 60 down the drain and we left. Went to Ojos Locos around the corner and had great service and a great time. The only thing we could think of was that the waitress was on something. Her bizarre behavior and terrible service in a slow restaurant was the worst.

last night was the first time i ever ate here. and it was GREAT. the burgers came out fast, big and flavorful. def will consider going back for lunch or starting here. this place is great for watching games. lots of tvs. and SOO many seats it wont be busy like the chain sports bars like hooters and pluckers. plus its next to other bars so you can always go hang out afterwards. they have daily all day specials on decent sized beers and shots. try the onion rings.

Bennigan’s meets Giley’s. Smokey, poor service, nondescript food. Loose interpretation of a British pub. Seriously, leave Texas and see the world. I have traveled the world on business and this was one of my least favorite places. Should have stayed at the Flying Saucer.

This place is a sports lover’s dream. The bar is HUGE, and there are TV’s everywhere. We didn’t venture upstairs, but it looked like there was a pool table or two up there. I have a love hate with Fort Worth bars. You can smoke in them, which is gross. But you can get a large beer, which I love. We only stayed for one because we were on a self guided pub crawl. If I ever make it to funky town again I would definitely stop in.

The only reason there are 3 stars is because the nachos came out quickly. They were chips and a pile of cheese in the center of the plate with some jalapenos, olives and sour cream plopped on top. The sliders took 15 minutes to show up and were cold. The service is terrible, the food is slow arriving and cold when it does. The four of us waited for drink refills and had to flag down the server to get salsa for the nachos and more drinks. One server walked by texting and ignored us as we excused ourselves and asked for our server. If you want to hang with the 20 something croud, eat marginally decent food then this is the place. One plus is you can enjoy a cigar inside. out of the cold. Last visit for us

It’s a sports bar. Any food they offer that’s more complicated than«chips and queso» is unsurprisingly not that good, but you’re not going to be too disgusted either. Besides the aforementioned, they offer sandwiches, salads, burgers, nachos, and other entrees. I suspect you’d do well to stick with what they sell a lot of. There are two primary attractions: the large number of TVs and the downstairs bar, which is pretty nice. … well, three: the waitresses, who dress the part in jerseys and skin-tight shorts and ask often-enough-but-not-too-often whether you want another beer. Secondary ones: The crowd’s quite friendly, and the bartenders aren’t douchebags. On beer: lots on tap, and a well-stocked bar besides. They do allow smoking, but that doesn’t really bother me. My only real pet peeve is that the upstairs area isn’t lit or laid out nearly as well as the downstairs, although they do have a few pool tables there.

Reasons why I like this Fox n Hound. I am a faithful regular every Sunday with my boyfriend watching football here. 1. The waitresses are cute and competent. They recognize you are here to watch the game, they greet you with friendly smiles, they serve you food quickly and they check on you often BUT they stay out of your way enough to let you watch the game in peace. Plus, they don’t look pissy if you stay all day staring at the TV. 2. Tons of TVs, with 4HUGETV projections showing the games. My boyfriend is from California and is very happy because they consistently show the 49ers game for him on the big screen. 3. Great crowd, laid back and friendly. 4. Clean bathrooms and clean restaurants. 5. Great upstairs area where it is quieter and more intimate on a Sunday afternoon. 6. Comfortable booths for sitting 3 – 4 hours at a time. =P 7. Good food — I think the food here is pretty good. I like their pepperoni pizza with jalapenos, their pretzel appetizers and their crispy chicken salad. REASON I DON’T LIKETHISPLACE: Smokers — UGH! Can we please ask them to smoke outside? I always smell like smoke afterwards.

Apparently the proprietors felt if they tack an E onto the name that you’d think it was an actual English pub instead of another regular sports bar. I was in Fort Worth on business and was unable to get dinner until late, about 10PM. So my choices were limited especially since a tornado had blown through in a nearby town so many places used that as an excuse to close early. In that type of selection, this place was ok. After 10PM on a weeknight they were still serving their food. however, this food was no different than a million other bars and the Fox and Hound English Pub would lead you to believe it might have bangers and mash or something actuall english instead of the Santa Fe Enchiladas I ended up having, or as my co-worker referred to them as ‘chimechangas’ because they were the smallest enchiladas(and crispy) that I’d had in a while. It was late, I didn’t feel like messing with it. A plus is if you are looking for an indoor place to smoke a cigar apparently you can still do that here. That can be a minus too if you’re a non-smoker who likes to whine about people who smoke. TVs everywhere, and an for some reason they do a music over sports type of thing where they had a R&B/Electric/Dance music video channel blaring away while the rest of the TVs had sports but you couldn’t hear the games. So if you’re stuck somewhere late at night and need food, they have it, but otherwise… this isn’t an english pub.

Maybe it’s just because they STILL allow cigarette smoking in the bars in Fort Worth TX but UGH… how can anyone stand it. !! This place would be a gem if not for that. Lots of TV screens and there are pool tables upstairs. They even have a decent wine selection. BUTSMOKING — the place stinks.

I went here this last fat Tuesday. I was here to watch sports not really doing the fat Tuesday thing. I got here around 6 p and stayed till 8:30p. The location of this place is great. The service was decent, but they ran out of my MGD64 after only two of them. As you can tell it has a British pub theme, but is more like a super sports bar. Televisions everywhere, wide open and has pool tables up stairs. Decent place to hang out, but not great. Had a sandwich which was a black forest ham on pretzel bread. I was pleasantly surprised! I would classify this as a good starter bar if you are planning to end up in a dance club nearby.

This place is the Chili’s or Flingers or Shenanigan’s(Office Space, Waiting fans?) of «pubs”— I put quotes because you can’t even call it that. If you like a so-called English pub to be all sterile and clean with big fancy TVs to watch your stupid football game on– go to Fox and the Hound I guess. I would call this place a sports bar before I call it an English Pub. Obviously, I am not really a fan of sports bars. I love what someone else said one here: «Manufactured authenticity”– couldn’t put it better myself. Go to the Bull and Bush.
