OMG!!! Delicious !!! We ordered 3 apps and split an entrée. All were super a** delicious !! I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. Very reasonably priced too. Great service too! Please come and eat here when you are in Ft Worth, you will not be disappointed ! We had the popcorn shrimp, potstickers, and chicken wings for the apps. All were great! Entrée was shrimp and grits, needed a little more salt, but sooo yummy! Will be back again tomorrow for lunch !

Chicken was good(had Nashville Hot and wife had Grandma’s) Disappointed in the vegetable options. Green beans were good. Pickles on the Nashville chicken was undesirable but I understand how it compliments the dish. Kid had Popcorn Shrimp. Size was very good. She ate every bit. Disappointed that it was a $ 4 up charge to change the chips to Mac-n-Cheese on the kids dish. Declined to change because a side of Mac-n-Cheese was $ 5 on its own and this felt like a poor business practice. I’d rather pay a $ 1 and keep the chips than spend $ 4 to lose the chips and get $ 0.69 ol’ Mac-n-Cheese. Chips turned out to be very good and were enjoyed by the whole table. Glad we decided to keep them. The main reason LRW gets 3-STARS is because of Baleigh, our server. Her cold approach to service was so bad that it spoiled the whole dinner. The way she reacted when we declined the up-charge on the kids plate was similar to disgust. She never once asked if we enjoyed our meal. When my wife still had two pieces of chicken on her plate, Baleigh asked if she could take her plate away. She never once asked if we enjoyed our meal. Had she asked, I would have told her my Nashville Hot plate was not really to my liking. When I asked for a wet-nap, she brought two napkins that were folded together. As I had only one clean hand, I had a difficult time getting them apart. She asked if we wanted dessert as though it was a requirement. Obviously, we declined that as well. Dinner came to $ 54. Very disappointed and embarrassed for the team at the LRW. The good gets a 4 The service gets a 1(thanks for the water)

Place so nice I ate there twice(in 48 hours). Bailey my server was fantastic and happy to recommend her favorites from the menu. The popcorn shrimp was great, as was the spaghetti and meatballs(I literally never order meatballs out since my wife makes the best out there!). Highly recommend Little Red Wasp AND their big sister Grace for all means whole in FW.

Cool atmosphere! Great waitress! Big drink selection, we tried the shrimp, potstickers, and house made chips for appetizers. They were great. Our group had wings, shrimp & grits, chicken sandwich, and spaghetti & meatballs. Portion were huge, great ingredients, fresh, and no complaints.

Unilocal scores again — this time in Ft Worth. Was looking for a casual place with quality food very close to our hotel near Sundance Square downtown, as rain was imminent. This place stood out because of reviews of Reuben Sandwich, Grandma’s Fried Chicken and the Popcorn Shrimp Appetizer. We started with the Popcorn Shrimp & all 3 of us were impressed. Much larger shrimp then the usual ‘popcorn’ variety and very lightly battered. Our server commented before the dish came out that the chef must constantly change the oil or have a unique approach to the fryer because of how light K delicious the shrimp & chicken comes out… he was right! Our family loved the Popcorn Shrimp. My wife & son had the Reuben’s while I dug into Grandma’s Fried Chicken. Both lived up to the billing! Reuben is with Slaw, not Kraut and they use a Sriracha 1000 Island Dressing on sandwich. Both my wife & son are picky about Slaw &1,000 Island dressing on sandwiches but both raved about how good the sandwich was & neither left a bite behind. I loved the Fried Chicken! Lightly seasoned batter and lightly battered overall with the meat being very moist inside. Had the Mac ‘n Cheese side along with Green Beans & both were very good but the Chicken was the star of the show! Only complaint was our bar server was slow on his service approach on a very slow night at the bar. He was engaged in deep conversation with another patron and didn’t seem to have mastered the art of periodically looking up & down the bar to see who else needed attention. Minor set back when compared to very good food.

Really like this place! Inside atmosphere is lively but also more mature and professional. Bar has good variety of liquor. Can’t wait to come by drinks. Service was great and friendly and I got my food pretty fast! Food was pretty decent as well. They have gluten free bread available for burgers and sandwiches! My portobello mushroom sandwich was good but a bit tart dt too much vinegar in sauce, but the steamed or sautéed spinach helped cut the acidic taste quite a bit. Also, my sandwich was pretty soggy, which made eating pretty messy. Chips were great but nothing special. Overall, food decent, atmosphere awesome and service great.

Brisket potstickers! They were fried to perfection. The brisket was tender and juicy. These were the most memorable part of my lunch. I also the crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was nice and crispy. I’m not usually a fan of cole slaw, but this was delicious(not too tangy). The sandwich was massive! I would definitely come back to try the other things on the menu.

I’ve had brunch here a couple of times and what I like about Little Red Wasp is that everything is fresh and high quality. The brisket potstickers are amazing — I highly recommend them. I had the corned beef and hash but it’s not your traditional corned beef and hash but rather a fancier, more gourmet version of it. The location is downtown so you can use the valet parking service which is very convenient. They also accept reservations, but I’ve never needed them for brunch — maybe they are needed for dinner. Speaking of dinner, I’d like to have dinner there at some point.

We brought a large group of coworkers here for a lunch on a Monday. Friendly staff and cool interior. The food portions, even for lunch, were huge, and everyone was happy with their food. They have a large selection of Texas beer, and other out of state micro breweries, but sadly, no Arkansas beer.

We had a great experience! We went for lunch and ordered small LRW salads, and felt a small was the perfect portion size. The spring meadow chicken was also a great meal! All very light options, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the deviled eggs as an appetizer — they have a little kick! We sat outside, so I’m not sure about the ambience inside, but they were very accommodating and helped us move our tables in to the shade on the patio. Overall, our service was great.

Ordered the Pederson’s hot ham and cheese, on a rainy Sunday for brunch, with my friends ordering the corned beef and hash, and French toast. My sandwich was delicious, comforting, and hot. The sunny side up eggs on top were a great addition with perfectly dippy yolks. I couldn’t even eat it all. Our server was very attentive, and my companions food looked and tasted great too. Lots of booth seating and tables for small and big groups. Seating was open and the decoration was welcoming. Will definitely be back to enjoy more food from their menu.

Our Little Red Wasp experience was just okay. I made reservations about a week in advance, and called the restaurant to let them know we would be celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, in case they do anything special. The man I spoke to was very nice and he told me that yes, they usually provide donut holes so the whole group can enjoy the complimentary dessert. When I explained that it would be just the two of us, he mentioned that he could do a complimentary ice cream sundae instead. My boyfriend loves ice cream! I was touched by the suggestion and gratefully accepted. The gentleman on the phone said he would make a note on our reservation. Fast forward to a week later, we arrived at the restaurant and were seated at a nice table in the center of the restaurant. No one mentioned the birthday, but I figured it would come at the end of the meal. We started with the deviled eggs($ 5), which were good, but nothing out of this world. I ordered the Intense Storm cocktail($ 8) which is ginger liqueur, rum and soda served in a copper mug – it was good, but STRONG! For our entrees, I had the Roasted Portobello Sandwich($ 12) and my boyfriend had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich($ 12). We both enjoyed our sandwiches, they were quite large and served with a cute little silver bowl of house made potato chips. My boyfriend commented that his sandwich was incredibly spicy(and he loves spice, so it has to be crazy spicy for him to even mention it). My portobello sandwich had goat cheese and pesto on it, which gave it some great flavors. Both sandwiches were surprisingly greasy. Throughout the meal, the waiter was polite but not particularly attentive. We weren’t asked how our food was, and we felt a little rushed. When we were finished with our entrees, the waiter asked if we would like to see a dessert menu. I mentioned again that we were celebrating a birthday, and the waiter reacted as though it was his first time hearing about it. Sure enough, instead of the promised ice cream sundae, he brought us a little tin of donut holes. They were good, and I didn’t feel like I had the right to complain about a free dessert, but we were both a little disappointed. So, not great communication there. Overall the meal was fine, but the experience left a little to be desired.

Little Red Wasp is the perfect addition to Downtown Fort Worth. They have a great drink selection and tons of great entrée! Chips and ranch dip is an appetizer option. I’d consider this weird if they were offering Lays but their house chips should not be missed! It’s a healthy helping too, making it well worth your buck. I’ve had their tomato basil soup and thought it was quite tasty and a nice pairing with the chips. If you’re really hungry, the fried chicken is awesome. It’s a large portion and comes with 2 sides. I’d recommend the Mac ‘n’ cheese. I had a really great service experience here that deserves to be highlighted: Fellow Unilocaler Samantha S. and I walked into LRW at 9:40pm on a Friday night. Unbeknownst to us, LRW closes at 10pm on Fridays(we should have consulted Unilocal; shame on us). Despite their closing time, staff were welcoming and on the ball. They allowed us to order and hang out, which was much appreciated because we were starving. Regarding price, it’s a restaurant downtown so of course it’s going to be marked up a bit, but the portions are large so I’ve usually taken home another meal’s worth. There is valet available in front of the restaurant for $ 5. Overall, I love the food but beware of the 10pm closing time.

Little Red Wasp upon entry read to me as a fancier family friendly restaurant. I may have that impression wrong, being that it is in downtown and situated next to some fine dining restaurants, but this is what I noticed up front. I felt like I could go there with my kiddos in tow and not get dirty glances thrown at me all night. HOWEVER: I went at lunchtime after the rush when there were just a handful of business dudes, myself, one waiter and lots of seating, so I reserve the right to change my idea after my dinner visit… the first time with out kids, just to be safe! The restaurant was spacious, and clean. A great place to get some lunchtime work done. I had a splendid little salad called the LRW(little red wasp) with mixed green, dried fruit, sunflower seed, goat cheese and a delicious vinaigrette tossed through. But first I started with an order of their homemade potato chips and dressing/dip, served with a bottle of Crystal’s hot sauce to splash as you so desire(yum!). The serving was huge, and perfectly greasy and crisp, and secretly(okay, it probably wasn’t a secret, I more like stood on the table and announced to the three people in the restaurant) that I was delighted to be eating alone and not sharing this huge plate of chips with ANYONE. I brought the left overs home and snacked on them while I prepared dinner. SO good. I really loved their to go presentation too –for some reason it really impressed me. A little brown bag with handles, cute little to-go cartons and a LRW sticker on the bag. I really liked their sweet little patio set up too. I will be back in the spring to sip a cocktail and watch the passer-bys! Price was average for a lunch for one, and a glass of wine. My waiter was friendly, but not the most attentive. That could be however, because I was working and maybe he didn’t want to interrupt… I like to try and give them the benefit of the doubt! FYI –They do not validate parking from Sundance though and use their own valet system!

My colleagues from Hong Kong wanted to dine somewhere casual, yet trendy. The Wasp came highly recommended by the hotel concierge and numerous apps. My fried chicken came out well with a good amount of crisp in the breading. Others were satisfied by the shrimp and grits, burger, and other entrees. Rich’s recommendation: if you like spice, try the eponymous drink, made with red pepper purée and jalapeño honey.

The husband and I came for lunch yesterday. It’s situated in between Del Frisco’s and Capital Grille. We were seated right away. They have a full bar. Quite the drink menu with cocktails and beers. I like how they categorize them lagers, wheats, germans.etc. Their food menu is short and to the point. They have brunch Saturdays and Sundays. The appetizers, soups, salads, and knife and fork sandwiches are all the same then daily features. They also have daily specials. We started off with the chicken wings. Doused in Crystal’s hot sauce with home made ranch. Their ranch tasted kind of cucumbery, but good. I loved the wings. The special for Friday was the Cuban. My husband got that and I got the Reuben. When they say knife and fork sandwiches they really mean it. I could only eat half of my Reuben it was so big. It had cabbage slaw on it instead of sauerkraut. It was delicious. Not dry at all. The house made chips were also real good. especially dipped in the ranch. Most«house made» chips are soft, but these were crispy. The cuban! Dare I say it was pretty damn good? It didn’t come on cuban bread though, but still good. I would get it and I always complain about Cuban sandwiches not being authentic unless on cuban bread. The waiter wasn’t that friendly and never filled our drinks. Manager was pretty cool especially since we accidentally forgot to pay. lol. Food came out fast. $ 50 for the two of us for lunch. I will be back to try Brunch and Dinner. The short ribs and short rib bene sound good right now.

I have to say, their short rib entrée was the most flavorless short rib I’ve ever had. Seriously, with each bite I kept hoping some flavor would come out and none did. I finished it off wondering where it went. It was dry too. My friend ordered their crispy chicken sandwich and let me try it. The sandwich was really good and 3 – 4 star worthy. Unfortunately I was stuck with the short rib entrée for $ 26 which I feel wouldn’t have been worth $ 12. Service was decent and the atmosphere/décor was pretty modern and somewhat basic. They had an ok beer list if memory serves too. Only if in the area, I might return, but would stay far far away from that disappointing short rib.

I choose the place to dine alone carefully. Little Red Wasp is perfect especially if you let lunch hour pass by. Its quiet, clean, they make tasty cheeseburgers and their caesar salad is mixed with anchovies! Score! I had their cheeseburger with one patty. You can have it with double patties. For me one is enough. They use their own sauce which was really good. The chips that came with the burger was really crunchy. Freshly made. Main street is the area where you will find tons of restaurants. LRW sits next to a Starbucks and a famous streak place. Impeccable service. No monku!

Came here for lunch with my sister! Their special was the Cuban sandwich which my sister ordered. She loved it since she’s not a big fan of vegetables… There are jalapeños in their though! Just meaty and thick! She liked it and it will also be her dinner tonight lol. I ordered the cheese burger just the single which is 1 patty. The menu may show 2 price options for certain meals, smaller/larger portion. Burger was delicious, they have a special sauce which was a thousand island and something else. Both our meals came with a side of chips which was yummy! I been obsessed with chips recently! This place has a full bag and its huge! I’d like to come here for dinner one day to order a cocktail! The place is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. Staff is superb!
