This place sucks. Their steaks taste like a cheap, chewy, nasty slab of foreign meat. I don’t care for their food nor their servers.

Checked in for a quick bite tonight. Party of three. Floor was filthy. They’ve never heard of a broom. As I walked, my foot was sticking to the floor. One waitress was full of attitude, while the other looked as if she was a resident of Hooterville, AKA, Green Acres. We could only imagine how filthy the kitchen was. We left. To be far, the breakfast on weekends, in the fireplace room, has always been nice.

Salad should never be served on a warm plate. Trainers should not have more than 4 tables. Ice Tea should NEVER cost more than $ 1.79.

Cute, old timey looking restaurant with a hobbit house feel, except not tiny. It looks German or French. Cozy and quaint, not too fancy, but nicer than Ihop and old south, not over crowded or super noisy. We were seated right away in a comfortable booth. Service was great and so was the food! We’ll be back.

Decided to take my wife on a date, we came in around 7:30 pm. The food was not good very bland, also service was not good. At one point you could hear the staff yelling at each other in the kitchen from our table.

I love Mimi’s Café! I really enjoy he French Country feel of the place, and the food is always good. I usually get the same thing every time I go but the few times I’ve tried other items they were very good as well. I go about 2 times a month and if you sign up for their Email subscription you get some great coupons!

Service was acceptable but not the best.(I like my tea glass to stay at least ¼ filled) Food was very good but a little over priced. It’s right across the road from my work so I’ll be back.

I was so disappointed at how far this restaurant has fallen! The menu reduced to minimal and the waitress was horrible and dismissive. This saddens me cause I loved this place!

The first time I went to Mimi’s the service was slow but they made it up by giving us four free muffins. So I thought the customer service was amazing. The second time I went my waiter made me feel like she didn’t want to even talk to us but gave the tables around us great service! She asked them if they needed anything but didn’t care to ask us. She didn’t offer us many of the things that she offered the other table. I just felt like she was stand off-ish. If that’s the case don’t be a waiter! If you can’t be one that will be equal to everyone. The food is great and amazing! No complaints there but the service has been slow the past two times I’ve been. Also it really bothered me that the place smelled like dirty mop water today. That’s not appetizing at all.

This place has a special place in my heart. My boyfriend brought me here on a date and I thought the place was absolutely adorable! The atmosphere and building is unique and it makes me forget that this place is on the side of a highway. The service was great, with our waiter checking in constantly if everything was okay. We both ordered their sandwiches, which I thought were really good, along with fresh fruit, and fries well cooked as sides. The food is plentiful, having to take the other half home. At the end, the waiter slipped us chocolate and ginger muffin, his treat! Those were really good too :) I would certainly come back.

I had the soup salad combo today. I was really looking forward to the thousand island dressing but was highly disappointed as the recipe had changed. The dressing was very runny with a strong acidic tomato taste. Please go back to your original thousand island dressing recipe. The service was very slow and our waiter was not attentive. I give you three stars because I had the French onion soup which was very good but cold :-)

Our sever was excellent. I wish I could remember his name. He made recommendation and all were good. We had the Mac and cheese, turkey and chicken and waffles. Would have all again. The wine selection was good and a glass of wine was cheap! The carrot cake rolls are yummy!

This place is awesome. I love the fact that they have lots of breakfast option. My favorite is the mimosa options. Today I’m ordering ham & eggs. The waitress and waiters are very attentive. Definitely will be back here soon.

Haven’t been in a while. I remember that the food was always great. Today we chose patio seating and that was the last interaction we had with anyone who worked there. After sitting on the patio and not seeing anyone for 15 minutes we left.

I have a love hate relationship with Mimi’s. The food is decent but they are slow as molasses, busy or not. It is mainly the only place in the Bryant Irvin area that serves breakfast. My Grandma loves Mimi’s, especially for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is the only day out of the year when they are fast. Seriously. My grandma is on a walker and moves faster than the service! Wait for a host/hostess, wait for waiter to show up 10 – 15 minutes, drink order, wait 15 more for drinks, disappears quickly, 15 more minutes to show up for meal order, disappears with no refills, brings food, and waiter disappears again. No checking in on you or refills for a good 20 minutes. Walks by quickly a couple of times, asks do we need anything, yes.check. Maybe a refill on the drink? 15 minutes later, check. Forgets drink. Leaves with bill, 15 minutes later returns. Lol, and they can be dead and it’s like every single waiter does this. Not every waiter, but most of the time. They have some healthy options. I like their Eggs Bene and the giant muffins. Their thanksgiving dinner is pretty good. No menu, but for a set price, you get a soup or salad, entrée, and a dessert on Turkey Day.

All I can say is: I’m not coming back, we made a reservation for a Mother’s Day lunch with 3 days of anticipation, we got there 10 minutes before the reservation time(3:00 pm) and got our table at 3:40 and wait another hour for the food, my dad got a $ 20 steak(for the price you spect something good) it wasn’t, we waited 15 minutes for refills, in other words, service was awful, when the food arrived the waiter told my brother in law that he had to wait ANOTHER30 minutes for his plate because the chicken wasn’t ready,

Mimi’s is the kind of place you go to when you just can’t decide what exactly you want to eat, because they have just about any American fare you might want on the menu. Located in SW Fort Worth, just off I-20, it’s a convenient location to get in and out of with plenty of parking. When I went in it reminded me of an Applebee’s, but it’s a step up from most Applebee’s. The booth bench we were seated in had a split in the bottom cushion, making in uncomfortable to sit on, otherwise the place looked clean and well maintained. Went in during lunch hour and staff was a bit overwhelmed by number of trade and construction workers. Our server was slow to get to our table(10 minutes) and that pretty much carries through the whole meal. Overall the meal took about an hour including a lengthy wait for our check and change. The salad I ordered, Asian Chicken, was quite good, everything was fresh and the dressing was REALLY good, as were the fresh rolls to accompany the entrees. Pricing is pretty reasonable, mid-$ 20’s for lunch for two ex tip. Not a bad experience, just average

Met some girls here for an early dinner on a Friday night. As other reviews have mentioned, the staff were really accommodating and prompt with coming over and getting drinks and making sure our food was ok and we had enough of everything. The menu looks ok, there seems to be a broad range of everything. As I wasn’t overly hungry I ordered the meat balls, with tomato sauce and parmesan cheese. They were tasty, but the meat wasn’t great, it was quite fatty in comparison to other meatballs I have tried or even ground beef I have tried in other places. They filled a gap I guess. The place did have an air of loneliness to it, for a Friday night the place was empty, maybe three other tables occupied. The interior reminds me of an old county style house in the UK, so it’s different to other places here. I would be interested in going back from their breakfasts, but I’ll be skipping their dinner.
