Customer service and food was not good. There were only two other small groups(2 – 3 people) in the restaurant; one waiting the other eating. Customer service is sub-par. The young girl at the register acted irritated while were trying to decide what we wanted. No one was behind us waiting. I asked about their customer rewards program since there was an advertisement at the register but she was not in the mood. Maybe if was an «off» day for her. Besides the service, the food was not very good, the facility was clean.

This is a new location and has a nice lay out with friendly and helpful staff. The parking lot is horrible though and a challenge during busy times to get in and out.

If you’re ordering take out lettuce wraps, check your lettuce!!! Not sure they did… Otherwise, chicken mixture was good.

I’d never tried Pei Wei before this location opened. I went with my family on the day it opened, and the next day, and then about a week after that… you get the point. I’ve loved every thing I’ve tried here. The staff is friendly and generous and they know a thing or two about customer retention. Now every time I visit with my family, the manager already starts putting our orders in. She always makes sure we have everything that we need, and she even gave our family free cookies on our last visit. We went on my dad’s birthday. we never miss a month without Pei Wei. The atmosphere is clean and modern-I absolutely love it! I put Pei Wei on such a high bar, and then I visited the one in Arlington with friends. On the way I bragged and bragged about how amazing it was, but it just wasn’t the same. The Pei Wei on Heritage Trace is the absolute best location. I really enjoy myself every time I go! The service is fast, friendly and my favs are the Pei Wei Spicy, the Ahi Tuna Crunch Roll, The Spring Rolls, The fortune Cookies, The Honey Seared Chicken and of course the Snickerdoodle Cookies, which are amaze-balls by the way. There is a gluten-free menu, gluten free sauce, sparkling water, the works. I read someone say that this was a glorified Chicken Express. Insulting and not the least bit true. I’ve been to Chicken Express and um… me thinks not. I hate Chicken Express. To be honest, it pains me to call Pei Wei fast food, because aside from ordering at a register, I feel like i’m at a restaurant. Other Pei Wei locations have a low-lit, crowded intimate atmosphere, like a low-budget Benihana. I like the bright modern feel that the new restaurant has. I literally live like 2 minutes away from it. It’s very classic and modern; the way a room SHOULD look when you’re eating sushi with wooden chopsticks and fried rice out of round, stark white circular bowl! Considering that Pei Wei is the sister company, the fast food version of P.F. Chang’s it’s great. You can watch the people make your food in an actual Wok. You see fire and all kinds of things. The chefs actually look like chefs and they know what they’re doing. EVERYTHING is made to order, except for the cookies, which are still delicious and moist. Whoever compared Pei Wei to Panda Express’ frozen chicken nuggets with sauce has blind taste buds. Seriously. If I could buy them taste bud implants or enhancer, you know I would. Unlike boring regular to-boxes, Pei Wei, even being«fast food», has Chinese To-Go Boxes, or whatever they’re called. If you didn’t know, overseas, these have always been ORIGAMIPLATES since they were started. YES! They break down into little geometric looking plates. You can imagine how stupid I felt when I learned this. Some people say that they are«stingy» with the portions. Not all true unless you’re at the one in Arlington; They, ladies and gentlemen, are the definition of stingy. You can order a small portion for somewhere around $ 6.00 well spent dollars, or a large portion for a $ 1 or 2 more. I always get the small portion, because the large is too much for me. They even have Family portions for those families that like to order one big bowl and eat family style. There is an endless amount of fortune cookies available to the public and the nice people at the register let you substitute CERTAIN things for free. You can eat with either chopsticks or fork and spoon-either way, the experience is always a success. Get to know the people behind the counter and they don’t mind doing special things for you. If you order something and don’t like it, TELLTHEM! They will switch it out for you – free of charge. When you order, don’t be afraid to ask them about their favs. They’ll give you the scoop on the menu :) VISITTHISPLACEIMMEDIATELYANDASKFORTHEMANAGER-NATASHA, ORYOURLIFEWILLSUCKBYDEFAULT. Jk.

Went to this new location for the first time yesterday, very nice and big. I was only a few points away from getting a free entrée, so they let me put a drink and sushi on a separate check so I could pay it first and then get one of our entrees free. They were very kind and helpful, and the food was very good. I also got the salad option this time, which I highly recommend. For to-go, they put the salad and entrée in separate containers, so I actually just ate the salad by itself(but I’m sure would’ve been great with my entrée on it). The only thing is, I didn’t like the lime vinaigrette, but I think that’s because I just don’t like that dressing in general, I love lime but lime vinaigrette is just too bitter for my taste. Highly recommend the mango California roll and the mandarin green tea — so addicted to this!

this is a new location. food WAS great until they got new chef(s). We ordered the thai dynamite with steak which came out burned to crisp, sent it back and came out burned again and with fried rice… we ordered it with brown. when my husband went back to return it the again the secind time, one of the chefs gave a threatening look like we, the customers, were in the wrong. horrible service, esp under the Asian manager working on Wednesday nights! 2 thumbs whaaaat down to this location.

The management and staff go out of their way to accommodate the customer. Food is very good. This pei Wei is much better than others in the area.

They’re def working out the kinks! Ordered a to-go veggie noodles with EXTRA mushrooms. The lady asks me ‘steak noodles?’ NO-VEGGIE! And then asks ‘no mushrooms?’ NO-EXTRAMUSHROOMS!!! It was almost comical. Thankfully there was no meat — but there was maybe 5 – 6 mushroom pieces total. Really pathetic for having asked for EXTRA. And the lo-mein was so bland it was awful… the lo-mein made by the Pei Wei in Watauga is just so so much better. hopefully in 3 or so years this new one can catch up too.

Wasn’t expecting too much but I must admit the food here is pretty delicious! Try the Mongolian beef with extra vegetables and brown rice. It was so good I actually finished the entire thing, which I never do. I highly recommend. They’re fast too! Second round different night tried the Dan Dan noodles, extra spicy without the cucumbers and extra vegetables and it was delicious!!! This place is so good.

My family enjoys Pei Wei food, and like having a new location closer to home, but the décor of this new location is really disappointing. Not at all the same feel as the others. Very sterile, cold setting — I much prefer the look at the other locations.

Just went to pei wei for the first time and was very unimpressed. I ordered the teriyaki bowl and it tasted identical to what you would find in a mall food court except with a salad tossed in and less chicken. It’s nice if you are looking for a healthy twist to traditional chinese food but it is just not what I was looking for. The staff was nice but the place was a little crowded and they were stretched a bit thin. The dining room was ugly. Just bare concrete floors, plain wooden tables, and white chairs. Lots of windows but nothing to look at except the parking lot. All in all it was ok but not worth the price. Ps the parking was awful and the place next door wasn’t even open yet

Mehhhh, I used to like this chain until they started offering sushi. These are not California rolls, they are RICE rolls with a STINGYDAB of California. Everything else was fine. Except for the loud lady taking our order who snapped at the people who unknowingly were taking the napkins and soy and chopsticks from the«to go» stash. It was not labeled so I would’ve done the same but not after she jumped them. Dang, Lol. We’ll go back for some soup but they really need to spread out the back section. Big cluster if you know what I mean. Oh yeah after ordering, there’s no real separation or guidance to the eating area from the register so guess where I ended up(I’m sure I’m not the first and won’t be the last)? Where I wasn’t supposed to be; with the servers who were getting their orders! I asked them, «I’m not supposed to be back here, am I?» One female employee looked at me as if she felt sorry for me and shook her head no and looked down. They could’ve put METOWORK! first world problem I know but I thought it was funny and that setup wasn’t well planned. Oh well. I will stick to sushi restaurants or KROGER’S sushi! Which is ten times better and there’s actually Cali in the rolls! The amount of Cali that was in the sushi at Pei Wei was smaller than my fingernail. C’mon man!!!

Good but not great. It’s a step up from Panda Express but not quite as good as the local Asian restaurants in the area. Very fast service though and the place is pretty clean. All in all, if you are looking for a higher quality Asian food place and are short on time then this is the place to go! I do have to mention the crispy potstickers though– they were like 4pcs for $ 4 and they were really small and overcooked. The orange chicken my wife got didn’t really taste very orangy either– which was odd.

Cute and fun atmosphere. We have walked in and placed and order to go and have ordered online or take out. They have a nice section of items to take home for take-out orders. Most wok dishes are good but the noodle dishes fall short. I love Asian food and I have not found a favorite spot in Fort Worth yet. I was excited for Pei Wei because I am a fan of PF Changs but their phad tai lacks in authentic flavor. Stick with the fried chicken dishes with rice and you will be happy.

We tried the new Pei Wei that recently opened near us today for a late lunch. We arrived around 2:30PM and it was PACKED! We looked over the menu and our order was taken quickly, the casher was extremely helpful. I ordered 2 vegetable spring rolls and the Pei Wei Spicy with shrimp and fried rice. My husband had the Fried Rice with chicken and a order of Crab Wontons and a pork egg roll. We both loved that you can choose how many wontons, spring rolls, etc… you want in a order, he only wanted to try them so he ordered 2 for $ 1.99. We were given our cups and a number for our order so we grabbed a table and filled our drinks. The crab wontons were out almost as soon as we sat down. My husband said they were very good and wished he had ordered more. The spring rolls and the egg roll followed very quickly. They were pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Our meals arrived in no time and the portions were huge! My meal was delicious! The shrimp was cooked properly and was very tasty! I will add more spice next time I have it, I like things hot! My husband loved his fried rice and ate every bit! We can’t wait to return!

Food was amazing! My husband and I had caramel chicken and honey seared shrimp. Came out hot hot hot and perfect! They just opened, we came in and they were beyond packed. Every table full and at least double that in to go orders. It may have taken a few extra minutes to get our food but it was more than worth the wait. Manager and staff are great! Very attentive. I felt bad for the kitchen staff they were moving a mile a minute. Give them a little time to get use to the area and work out the kinks. I promise you these are great people doing double time to keep up with demand.

All you can expect from Pei Wei Brand new, actually some decorations and details are still in the works but looks amazing. Service is on the normal ramp up, great attitude but with some glitches but willing and happy to make it good The kitchen is still slower than usual but the dishes are cooked to perfection. Over all is great, happy to have them In The neighborhood and will be coming quite frequently . If you have never tried Pei Wei before… WHATAREYOUWITINGFOR!!!
